Chapter 55: The Attack of the Devil Race on the Holy Cathedral City

Venuzuela pushed her face towards Raider as if she was pointing out her interlocutor's fault.

"You're hiding things from me, aren't you?"

"I'm sorry."

"After I return I want to hear everything."

"I understand."

Leaving behind the fact that Raider had married an elf, they reached the entrance of the cathedral, a nun greeted them.

They were a little confused, why would the queen look like that? He did not show too much luxury even as he took off his robe.

Raider and the queen lead in the front while Elizabeth's party follows from behind, the displayed structure of this entire building is a difficult thing to say, everything is polished with colorful diamonds even the marble floor they stepped on looks transparent.

"Hi, long time no see," Shina greeted the One she knew but, there was no reply.

"I think you're still handing over Shina," Marisa's piece that made everyone chuckle until they finally arrived at the Arch Priest's resting room. The one who escorted them knocked on the door and the reply of 'Enter' arrived quickly.

The door opened and they walked without hesitation except for the person showing the way, in the place where there was a large window the figure of a woman with silver hair stood staring at them.

She was wearing a white dress and a mask on her face which left Elizabeth a little disappointed.

"You covered your face?"

"Your Majesty the queen knows it would be dangerous if someone saw me before then, did something happen until you came here?"

"I'd like to say it but after you give me a chair or table here."

Chairs and tables suddenly appeared and it was made of golden sand that flew out of the window.

"It's better."

"It's incredible magic" Elizabeth also confessed Marisa's words before sitting down with the others.

"Actually the demon race has returned to conquer the human world, I came here to ask for help to overcome it."

"We've been ordered by the goddess to defeat the devil, so we'll help.what the queen wants me to deploy some troops in each city as guards."

"That will definitely help, certainly as a thank you I will give more funds for the construction of this city and your cult."

"As usual you are very generous."

For Elizabeth these words were so convoluted, she was only forced to come here after her affairs were done she wanted to get out of here as soon as possible unfortunately they were quickly thwarted.
