109. Vacation

A few days after the Arfian application event which was held one day after the four-monthly celebration of Prita, Yusuf and Indriani invited Faras and Faris to vacation in Lombok. Initially Kagendra refused for fear of getting a minus from Sadiyah, but Indriani insisted on taking his grandchildren on vacation together.

“Don't forget to tell Iyah that Mom and Abah are taking the kids away for vacation together.” Indriani said warning because he knows Kagendra is still in the exam period.

Kagendra's plan was to tell Sadiyah if the children had returned from vacation.

“You just come with us all also invite Iyah.” suggested Indriani.

“Aa there are jobs that cannot be left behind. Iyah also seems to still be in Jogja until next week. Mother and Abah take it easy with the kids. Later Aa who will notify Iyah.”

It has been three days that Faras and Faris have been in Lombok together with their grandparents.

“Aa where is it? Where are the kids?” Sadiyah immediately asked Faras and Faris where she was when she called Kagendra shortly after the plane landed at Soeta airport.

“Aras and Aris are following Abah and Mother to Lombok.” replied Kagendra a little hesitant. He was worried Sadiyah would get angry if he said Faras and Faris went to Lombok with her parents.

“Together Aa too?” asked Sadiyah with a slightly raised tone of voice.

“Aa is in Bandung.” Kagendra's voice is getting weaker.

“Why didn't Aa tell and ask for permission if Aras and Aris went to Lombok?” sadiyah's voice is getting higher.

“That brings you Abah and Mom, not Aa. Abah and Mom should have asked for your permission. You should be angry with Abah and Mom, not angry with Aa.” Kagendra tried to defend himself even though he knew that he was wrong for not telling Sadiyah before Faras and Faris left.

“As for Mom only, as long as you don't bother Mom.” Sadiyah really felt bad about her mother-in-law. Indriani is still kind and affectionate with her even though she has disappointed her battery, father, and mother-in-law.
