I Found Love With You
137. Getting pregnant?

One month later…

Kagendra, Sadiyah, Faras and Faris returned to live in Bandung. They have been living in a new home for two weeks.

Last night Kagendra had just arrived home after a long and very jammed trip from Jakarta to Bandung. Friday night, the trip from Jakarta to Bandung did feel longer because of the traffic jam. Friday night traffic jams are common because many Bandung residents who work in Jakarta and go home every weekend, including Kagendra. That is why the toll gate of Bandung city is always crowded on Friday night.

This morning Kagendra and Sadiyah had just finished their morning run together. Rarely meeting makes Kagendra determined to get time together with a quality family. Saturday morning Kagendra, Sadiyah, Faras and Faris ran off early in the morning together around the complex. After the morning run, Sadiyah made breakfast assisted Kagendra.

Every weekend, Sadiyah comforted their domestic assistants. He argued that all employees in his house were also entitled to vacation or spend time with family on weekends.

As usual, Sadiyah made the favorite fried rice of Kagendra, Faras and Faris. Kagendra helps slice red onions, garlic and chili peppers. After finishing preparing the seasoning, Kagendra washes the shrimp and chicken fillets.

Sadiyah started sauteing the herbs her husband had prepared. The fragrant seasoning that was sauteed began to spread throughout the kitchen room. The smell of fried rice seasoning makes Kagendra nauseous and wants to vomit. He refrained from vomiting but seemed unable to. Kagendra ran to the bathroom and vomited acidic liquid because no food had entered his stomach.

“Dad,” call Kagendra after coming out of the bathroom.

“What, A? Uh, why is Aa's face pale?" Sadiyah was shocked to see Kagendra's pale face. "It hurts?"

“You've filled in yet?”

“What content, A?”

“Pregnant.”

“Daddy hasn't checked. It's not yet, A. Iyah does not feel nausea or cravings,” said Sadiyah.

“You don't but Aa yes.”

“Hah? Meaning?”

“Aa nausea and cravings. It's been one week that Aa is always dizzy and nauseous every morning. Now just Aa nausea smell the spice you sauteed. She also likes to eat spicy food. Two days ago, Aa bought a peck on the side of the road. Imagine a Kagendra buying a peck on the side of the road. Very unlikely, right?”

“Iya anyway, A. Never mind on the roadside, just buy at restaurants picky.”

“Well that's it. Aa had this experience seven years ago when you were pregnant with Aras and Aris. You're pregnant but Aa is nauseous and cravings. Weird no?”

“Iyah also felt strange during Aras and Aris' pregnancy. Iyah did not realize that Iyah was pregnant because she did not feel the signs. When Iyah check with the doctor, Iyah pregnancy has entered the third month,” said Sadiyah.

“Aa suffers from nausea and dizziness without knowing the reason. The doctor who examined Aa was also to the point of confusion with Aa.” disease

“He-he-he, funny yes A. Iyah who is pregnant but Aa who is dizzy and nauseous.”

“It seems it repeats itself if feeling Aa does not miss. Looks like you're pregnant.”

“Tomorrow check.”

“Now only. Aa bought the tool.” Kagendra went into the room and returned with three different test packs.

“No less buy test packnya?”

“Let's be clearer.”

“If you want to be clear, go to the obstetrician, A.”

“Iya. After using the test pack, we go to the obstetrician.”

Sadiyah laughed at Kagendra's words.

After breakfast, Sadiyah went to the bathroom and put the test pack into her urine which was accommodated in a small container.

“How was the result?” kagendra asked as soon as Sadiyah came out of the bathroom.

Sadiyah smelled her smile.

“Positive?”

A nod to Sadiyah makes Kagendra prance like children who win a race.

“Alhamdulillah Ya Allah.” Kagendra kissed Sadiyah's right and left cheeks and squatted down to kiss Sadiyah's stomach.

“Aa sincere nausea and dizziness every morning?”

“Very sincere,” replied Kagendra while looking up.

“Now still nausea and dizziness is not?”

“Still,” replied Kagendra limp because he just took out everything he ate earlier.

“We go to the doctor now.”

“Still morning, A. No doctors yet practice.”

“But A. Iyah does not know a good obstetrician in Bandung.”

“Where did you give birth to Aras and Aris? On Cibeber?”

“Daddy hasn't told me, huh?”

“Not yet,” replied Kagendra a little upset. He regretted and was upset at himself for not being beside Sadiyah during childbirth.

“Check Aras and Aris in Cibeber but gave birth to them in Bandung. It was also unplanned. Iyah is on a regular visit to the cafe in Bandung, eeh they can't wait out. So Iyah gave birth in Bandung accompanied by Mak Isah and Atep. Grateful Mak Isah came along and Atep who brought a car so he could quickly go to the maternity hospital,” explained Sadiyah. He felt guilty because he had not been able to tell the process of giving birth to his twins to Kagendra.

“At that time you were okay?” ask Kagendra worried. He felt really sorry for not accompanying Sadiyah when giving birth to their children.

“Of course is fine. If Iyah is not okay maybe now Iyah is not in front of Aa.”

Kagendra hugged Sadiyah tightly, “I'm sorry Aa, darling. Aa really guilty with you.”

“Already! The past need not be touched on anymore. It makes you sad, right?”

Kagendra.

“Have the doctor?” ask Kagendra.

Sadiyah is still looking for a suitable obstetrician online.

“The doctors are a lot of good but they are men. It's okay if the gynecologist is male? If Iyah Iyah risih checked by a male doctor.”

“Cannot. Find a female obstetrician! Aa don't want you held-hold the same other men.”

“It used to be fitting to give birth to Aras and Aris, an obstetrician who helped deliver Iyah male doctor. At that time, Iyah could not think of anything other than removing Aras and Aris from the stomach. Boro-boro thinking uncomfortable or not, Iyah nahan sick to want to faint taste. It hurts so much.”

“A mother's struggle is like that, dear, her reply is also heaven. If a mother dies during childbirth, she is a martyr. That is the virtue of a woman who is not owned by men.”

“It hurts so much. Iyah so remembered the same mother when giving birth to Iyah and sister. A mother's struggle in childbirth is not extraordinary pain but all the pain is gone when Iyah saw Aras and Aris.”

“Who wronged them?”

“Atep.”

“What?”

“Indeed, who else would want to persecute? Aa?”

“Ya it's not so. Why not Mang Awan?”

“Mang Awan and Bi Ita did not let me know and they did not know where Iyah lived at that time.”

“Oh..”

“Why? Jealous of Atep?”

“Not so. Aa instead plans to match Atep to Lena. You agree no?”

“Truly, A?”

“Hm..”

“Iyah already has plans to match them. Aras and Aris were enthusiastic to match them. Even Aras and Aris first expressed their desire to make their Atep om and Lena become their aunt.

“If Atep and Lena get married, will Aras and Aris change the name of mamang to om and aunt to aunt?”

“Yes that's not it, A. Atep will still call mamang even though they are married to their aunt and Lena will still be called aunty even though married to their mama.”

“Yes too yes. Why is it so complicated about changing the name.” They laughed at the silliness of Kagendra's question.

“Atep it's a good boy. His father died along with Iyah's parents while they were away on business abroad. Their bodies were never found as they fell over the waters.” Sadiyah was sobbing in memory of both her parents.

“So that's why you never took Aa to their grave?”

“Hm..”

“God willing they were martyred by drowning. As children, we should not have to visit their graves if there were none. Prayer of godly children will illuminate them in the realm of barzah even though we do not know where their bodies are.”

“Amin.”
