70. Meet Sadiyah

After resting for three days for the sake of healing his wounds. Kagendra asks Rudi to drive him to the Sadiyah family home. Although his injuries are almost healed, but Kagendra has not dared to drive himself a long way.

Only today, Kagendra's high deman has started to decline. Since three days ago, Kagendra experienced a high deman that made him not even able to just get out of bed.

“Bos sure able to travel far?”

“What drives you is not me. I just sat in the passenger seat. I can still rest on the way.”

Kagendra had already told him all the details of his and Sadiyah's problems. Also about the divorce lawsuit that Sadiyah registered with Rudi. Though he spoke in a very low voice with a considerable distance also from Kagendra. Rudi shuddered with the ability that Kagendra had.

“We leave now, Rud.” Kagendra was preparing to go to the Sadiyah family's house in Bandung. His body temperature was still high but he insisted to keep going.

“Bos absolutely sure. Boss body temperature is still high, this morning also Boss is still vomiting.”

“Cerewet you Rud. How many times have I told you that I want to go today.” said Kagendra.

“Good Boss. But if on the street the Boss feels dizzy, nauseous, or tired, the Boss should immediately tell me. Don't force yourself.”

“Iya..iya...don't be rich chatter My mother.” protest Kagendra.

After traveling for three more hours, Kagendra finally arrived at the Sadiyah family home. He got out of the car with a little stagger. Rudi held onto Kagendra's arm and swept it up to the front door.

“Assalamu’alaikum...” Rudi knocked on the door while saying hello.

“Wa’alaikumsalam”

A young woman opened the door.

“Who are you meeting with?” ask the young woman.

“I want to meet with Sadiyah.” replied Kagendra.

“Who, In?” rostita's voice came from inside the house.

“This Mbu. Some are looking for Tea Iyah.” replied the young woman who helped Rostita work in this house replaced Mak Isah who accompanied Sadiyah elsewhere.

Rostita saw Kagendra's face still pale. Unable to walk with ajeg, Rudi helps Kagendra to sit in the chair indicated by Rostita.

“You drink what, Ndra?”

“Anything, Bi.”

“Iin, make drink 3 cups. Fresh tea water only. Endra does not like sweet tea.

“Good, Mbu.” Iin soon passed to the kitchen to make some fresh tea for Kagendra, Rudi and Rostita.

“I want to meet Sadiyah. Can I meet now?” ask Kagendra impatiently.

Iin comes with 3 cups of unsalted tea.

“Diminum the tea first, Ndra.”

Kagendra and Rudi drank tea in front of them.

“How, Bi. Can I meet with Sadiyah now?”

“We wait for Mang Awan to return from the Mosque. Have you prayed dzuhur?”

“Numbers, Bi.”

“Ya already you pray dzuhur first.”

Rostita prepares a prayer mat in the guest room so that Kagendra and Rudi can pray and maybe rest for a while after a fairly long journey.

After finishing the prayer and lying down for a while resting his body that was still limp, Kagendra who was swept by Rudi returned to the living room. There was already Darmawan who had just returned from the mosque.

“We have lunch first, Ndra.” bargain Darmawan.

“Mang, I want to meet with Sadiyah.”

“We eat first.” said Darmawan firmly, do not want to be denied.

Kagendra obeyed Darmawan's words. They had lunch together with a makeshift menu because Rostita did not know Kagendra was coming so she did not prepare more food or a special menu for Kagendra.

“That's all it takes, Ndra. Bi Ita doesn't know that you want to come. If only you said the same Bi Ita before, Aunty can prepare your favorite food.”

“It's okay, Bi.”

After they finished eating, they returned to the living room.

“Where is it, Mang?” Kagendra could not wait to meet Sadiyah. He also misses Sadiyah very much because it has been almost 2 weeks not to meet with Sadiyah.

“Begini, Ndra Darmawan breathed heavily.

“Sadiyah is no longer here. One day after registering a divorce suit, Iyah went along with Mak Isah. He didn't tell us where he was going and stayed. We don't have a new contact number either. Iyah said that later he would contact us. But until now we have not received any news from him.”

Kagendra was stunned to get news about Sadiyah from Darmawan.

Kagendra tried to convince Rostita and Darmawan that what Sadiyah saw was not what actually happened.

Rostita and Darmawan were a little surprised by the actions taken by Kagendra now. They did not expect Kagendra would suffer like this because he was left behind by Sadiyah.
