I Found Love With You

I Found Love With You
27. Starting Jealous?

After finishing the morning prayer, Sadiyah locked herself in the other bedroom. He didn't want to see Kagendra's face. No matter what breakfast he had to prepare every morning. Now, Sadiyah felt her heart break and she felt her pride had been trampled by Kagendra. Kagendra did not appreciate her as a wife, not even respecting her as a human being. Since the completion of the morning prayer, no tears stopped pouring from his clear eyes.

What made Sadiyah even more upset was because of her attitude that could not refuse. She realized that she should be more persistent to defend herself but she feared sin if she did not fulfill the rights of her husband. That night he was in a dilemma. On the one hand she must be willing to fulfill her husband's rights but on the other hand, her mind refuses. He refuses to be treated that way. In addition to hating Kagendra's actions, Sadiyah also hated her body which betrayed her common sense. Her body accepted willingly what her husband was doing and therefore Sadiyah hated him.

Kagendra did not see Sadiyah after she returned from her morning run. He looked for Sadiyah in the bedroom but did not find Sadiyah there. He checked into the bathroom and couldn't find it either. Kagendra shouted to Sadiyah but he did not get the sahutan. Finally he tried to open another bedroom in his apartment unit. Kagendra tried to open the door but it seemed to be locked from the inside. He believed Sadiyah was in the room. Kagendra knocked on the door of the room but there was no word. Finally, Kagendra let it go. He prepared his own work clothes and went to the office without breakfast.

Flashbacks

From morning until lunch, the files that Kagendra had to check were still piled up on her desk. He felt his stomach begin to wriggle feeling an incredible hunger. Kagendra felt homesick with the artificial cuisine of his wife who for one week more he did not enjoy because of his own actions that told Sadiyah to no longer deliver her lunch to the office.

Looking at the files that are still mounting makes Kagendra's head hurt. He decided to go to a restaurant close to his office. He still felt prestige to ask Sadiyah to make and deliver his lunch.

This afternoon, as usual, Natasha did not visit him at the office so she decided to have lunch with her secretary only.

Arriving at a Sundanese food restaurant that became his favorite, Kagendra was already sitting sweetly waiting for his order to come. Because he left the phone in his room automatically he could not open his phone to just surf or browse in cyberspace while waiting for food orders arrived. Kagendra floated his gaze around the corner of the restaurant, which he often did to observe the various expressions of the people inside the restaurant. This is a habit he has done since he worked as an intern in college first. His job is simply to observe the expressions of the people around him, what they do while waiting, when meeting other people, and other expressions. This habit still continues today, when he is in the crowd and there is no activity that he does, then he will observe the people around him.

This habit of observing also led Kagendra to become a spy or scout and now he has a secret agency in addition to the advertising company he owns now. Many clients use their services, from officials, artists, or large entrepreneurs who are always satisfied with the results of their work.

Kagendra's gaze stopped on a woman who was a little far away from her current seat. Although some distance away, Kagendra is convinced that the veiled woman who was with a man he did not know was his wife. He saw his wife chatting with the unknown man who occasionally laughed and smiled. With a smile and laughter present on Sadiyah's face, it seemed that she was happy. There was no sadness on the face of the woman whose husband was caught cheating.

Kagendra felt his chest tight and his heart was racing. There was a turbulent and bubbling emotion within his chest. He clenched his hand and was about to hit his wife who was laughing happily with another man.

“Where are you, Boss?” asked Rudi, his secretary, when he saw his boss standing up from his seat.

Kagendra's sharp gaze was still on Sadiyah and the man.

“Bos, the food is already there.” Rudi reminded his boss.

Kagendra sat back down and threw his breath away violently. He stared intently at his secretary.

“I'm not hungry. You eat it yourself.” snapped Kagendra.

Rudi could only stare at the Boss with a look of wonder. “Tadi said hungry to order a lot of food. Now say not hungry. Basic Boss labil.” umpat Rudi in his heart only because he could not dare to curse his boss was direct.

Kagendra turned his gaze to the table where Sadiyah and the man were but he could not find them at the table. Calmly, he sharpened his gaze to the entire restaurant area. He found Sadiyah and the man was walking towards the exit of the restaurant.

Kagendra immediately got out of his seat, not caring about his hunger. He tried to chase Sadiyah and the man. Arriving at the parking lot, he traced the parking area with his eyes. When Kagendra saw the figure of his wife who was about to get into the car, he ran fast towards the car that began to move forward. The car was not overtaken, but he managed to remember the license plate number of the car.

Kagendra went back inside the restaurant. He saw his secretary who was greedily eating the dishes available at the table. His hungry stomach rebelled. Although his appetite had disappeared just like that but he did not want to get sick because of his stomach ulcer disease relapsed. It forces eating even if it is not tasteful.
