111. Must Survive

“Aaaaargh..” Kagendra shouted as the knife thrust by the last thug stabbed the right abdomen. Kagendra was late to avoid the thugs attack and as a result the pierced folding knife managed to stick quite deep.

Kagendra felt his eyes getting heavier, he could no longer bear to keep his consciousness.

Sadiyah placed Kagendra's head on her lap.

“Aa, don't close his eyes A!” Sadiyah clutched Kagendra's face in her arms.

“I-yah..” Kagendra sighed heavily. “Ma-af...” that was the last word before Kagendra coughed up blood and closed her eyes tightly.

Sadiyah shrank the blood that had come out of Kagendra's mouth. His cry grew louder as he saw Kagendra coughing out blood.

Not long after, some village officials came to provide assistance. Mr. Yaya explained briefly what happened. Unfortunately, the village officials did not bring any medical assistance.

With makeshift ability they brought the body of Kagendra who fainted and covered in blood on one of the motorcycles belonging to the village apparatus. Mr. Yaya held the body of Kagendra who was rammed by the motorbike.

No one answered because none of them could drive.

“Daddy who will drive.” Sadiyah immediately boarded one of the motorcycles belonging to the village apparatus. “Hurry up, Mr. Burhan. Speak.” Sadiyah said with a little shout. “Pak Yaya, carefully bring A Endra.” cried Sadiyah to Mr. Yaya.

“Iya Neng.” said Mr. Yaya.

After several hundred meters, Sadiyah saw Kagendra's car parked on the side of the road.

“That's the car.” exclaim Sadiyah.

After arriving near the car, lucky car keys still hang inside the ignition and the car door glass is open so that Sadiyah can easily get into the car.

Sadiyah immediately turned her car around to turn around. Not long after Sadiyah managed to turn the car around, the motorbike that brought Kagendra arrived.

With great care two village officials moved Kagendra's body into the car.

Mr. Yaya held Kagendra's body lying in the passenger seat.

“How is the condition Sir?” asked Sadiyah with tears that came back.

“It's still there but it's so weak.”

Without waiting for a long time, Sadiyah immediately stuck the gas and drove the car at high speed. Two village motorbike officers were in front of the car to escort and warn other road users to make way for the car.

After arriving at the intended hospital, Sadiyah saw Kagendra's face that was very pale like not drained of blood.

Sadiyah immediately ran to ask the hospital staff for help. Emergency room officials quickly moved Kagendra from the car to the emergency room.

Sadiyah who was afraid to follow the officers who brought Kagendra. He clasped Kagendra's hand which was starting to feel cold.

“Aa... Aa must endure! Aa can't leave Iyah. Aa must endure!” Sadiyah continued to recite the sentences along the way from the car to the emergency room.

Kagendra was immediately taken to the operating room for action.

Sadiyah waited in front of the operating room with a troubled mind. It was so incredibly scared. He was afraid that Kagendra would not be able to survive and leave him.
