Chapter 14

I just got inside the lecturer room and saw Mr. Deo watching me from his desk there. Mr. Deo is seen smiling widely with both eyes that look sparkling. It felt very strange, but it also made me smile when I looked at him. And immediately I walked closer to him, and there he began to rise from his seat.

“Hei..” saya with muttering.

“Hai..”.

Gosh darn. It feels like it's really awkward, but I'm really embarrassed about it all. The two of us fell silent at once, and I began to lower my head and did not want to look directly at Mr. Deo who was standing in front of me right now. Of course because it happened because there are still many other lecturers in this room. They all seemed to be smiling stifledly while watching the two of us.

“Jeez... These two children, if there we always just shy.” Said one of the middle-aged female lecturers who was there now.

They even seem to laugh a little because of it. I could not hide my restrained smile at all. It all felt strange, when I realized that I was so happy and happy when everyone supported the relationship that Mr. Deo and I are living right now. After that some lecturers began to come out of the lecturer room and go home. Then after that Mr. Deo began to hold my palm. “We go home now?” She asked.

I raised my head and nodded my head. “Iya..” replied. And immediately, Mr. Deo began to tidy up his belongings. And after that we walked together out of that lecturer room. Heading right towards the faculty parking lot. Mr. Deo helped me put on the helmet.

When we were just about to get on the motorcycle, I saw Ryan walking hastily towards us. “Lili, wait. I still want to talk.” He said for a moment when it was near me and also Mr. Deo who was there right now.

“What else, Ryan? What we talked about was enough.” My answer is to try to avoid him as much as possible right now, right there.

“Lili, it's not what you think. Tina and I went out together because we were preparing a surprise party for you. Did you forget it was your birthday soon. And so, we are discussing it together. Me and Tina can't say all this because you're getting close to her.”

“Surprise party for my birthday? Are you reasonable again, Ryan?” I smiled mockingly. I couldn't have expected Ryan to lie like this. “My birthday is past, Ryan. And we don't celebrate. But if you say you're planning a birthday party for me, then you're wrong. Because this close by is Tina's birthday. I didn't expect if you would lie like that.” And I felt sad and disappointed when I realized that Ryan didn't even remember my birthday that was almost three months ago.

I shook my head a few times. When I realized that Ryan really couldn't talk anymore. He was silent with his pale face. “Lili, let's go home now.” said Mr. Deo who suddenly.

“Good..”.

I no longer stared at Ryan there and started riding on the motorcycle. Hugged Mr. Deo's waist quite tightly. Because I feel like I'm going to cry right now. I leaned my head right on Mr. Deo's back. And immediately the motorcycle drove. On the way we both fell silent. Until it got right at the red light, Mr. Deo began to hold tightly to the palm of my hand that hugged him there. But Mr. Deo didn't say anything. And that is what makes me cry again.

The way home, I felt it was a long journey. Moreover, when the two of us had finally arrived right in front of my house, there was still no Kak Rendi there and I secretly felt very lucky about it. I immediately got off the motorcycle, and opened the helmet. I bowed my head as I handed the helmet over to Mr. Deo. However, after receiving the helmet, suddenly Mr. Deo reached out his hand there to be able to lift my head. And I immediately felt very sure if only now my face and my two eyes were very swollen. Mr. Deo rubbed my face slowly which looked puffy.

“Don't cry anymore. Okay well? Everything's gonna be okay. Don't think too much. I will always be with you. Okay?”

I nodded, and also muttered thank you. And soon after, Mr. Deo again held his motorcycle there. “Alright, then. I need to get home soon. And tomorrow, I'll pick you up at home, ten in the morning. I will prepare a surprise for you, and I am sure, my mother will also be happy when I meet you later.”

“Good. I'll dress up.”

I smile. And Mr. Deo nodded his head. After that, Mr. Deo went on his motorcycle and went home. Now I know if I had Mr. Deo and Mr. Rendi. And I really hope that everything will be okay.
