Imperfection

Imperfection
Chapter 6

I grumbled in my heart when for the umpteenth time I had to really confront Mr. Deo. He was indeed annoying as a lecturer level. And I never lied about it. And luckily, Mr. Deo didn't really listen to the thing I just said. Except, he's the one who's following me to the campus cafeteria. Of course, this is a form of punishment. And yes, Mr. Deo asked me to take him to the campus cafeteria. He said he needed my help to bring something from the canteen.

Then shortly after, we reached the campus cafeteria and immediately Mr. Deo headed for one of the merchants there to mention his order. As for me, waiting for him right at the back of his body. I could even listen to the order that he had quite a lot mentioned there. And I took a hard breath. Looks like I'm going to be a very long way to the library right now. And what's more, Tina was waiting for me there. Really sucks.

“Alright, I order that only. And I will wait here.” Said Mr. Deo at last to the merchant there and began to reverse his steps.

Seeing that, I also retreated my steps. And saw Mr. Deo begin to turn his body there and look straight at me with his two sharp eyes there now. “We will wait for that order here. After that you can help me to be able to bring all the orders later. You can, right? After all, I think, you are also not a student who is too busy type. And it looks very clear.” Said Mr. Deo with a tone of voice that seemed to underestimate myself there right now.

I thinned my lips there. At least that way I can restrain myself from calling him an annoying lecturer. Even if it is a fact. Sure oes. Then I just nodded my head slowly and looked obedient. “Sure Sir. I'll help you. After all, I am indeed not too much work and busy right now.” I replied with a little sarcasm.

I stepped towards the empty-looking cafeteria table and started sitting there first. But I do know that Mr. Deo looks at me in surprise. And besides that, I saw him smile a little at a glance. Although I had absolutely no idea what he was thinking right now, I knew that he must be mocking my frustration right now. Then shortly after that he began to walk closer to the table of the canteen I was sitting on and began to sit right in front of me right now. We both fell silent. Some of the other students were watching us. But it seems, it doesn't even bother Mr. Deo in the slightest. And he even looks very relaxed by starting to play his phone.

I sighed slowly, and again thought of Tina who might be waiting for me at the library. And I took my phone and typed in a message if I was in the cafeteria to help Mr. Deo carry his food order. And of course, Tina immediately answered him with okay. It really wasn't Tina who she used to be. And this feels really weird to me. Then after that I raised my head and looked at Ryan who was standing with a frown on his forehead. I was just about to call him, but the order came and was placed right on the table and in front of both of us.

“This is his order. And this is the note, sir.” Said the merchant while giving a piece of paper containing the total payment that must be paid by Mr. Deo there now.

And I saw him immediately take the wallet in his pants pocket to pay the total payment in accordance with what was stated in the note. But my focus was distracted when Ryan was seen chatting seriously through his phone. And it's not as usual. Because he also looks very anxious and worried. Wh why? And what's the reason? Today felt really strange to me. What's more, two best friends who used to tell me everything now are like they're planning something and hiding a lot from me.

I realized and looked at Mr. Deo who had been calling myself there since now. “Iya, Sir?” ask me while standing from my seat for a moment.

“You daydreaming? You look worried. Is something happening?” ask Mr. Deo who looks worried there.

And immediately I shook my head. “There is nothing, sir. Let me help bring.” I answered to be able to divert the conversation that was between us.

And I immediately took some plastic bags on the table to carry them. And while Mr. Deo himself has also brought some plastic bags there. Then the two of us walked together to go to the lecturer room again. Even so my mind could not stop thinking about what was going on right now. “Alright, thank you, Lili for her help.” Said Mr. Deo and started taking over the plastic bag that I was carrying.

“Sama-sama Sir. Then excuse me.”

I no longer waited for an answer from Mr. Deo and just walked very quickly to the library. I feel unsettled. My steps seemed rushed and it was very clear. I don't want to hide anything right now. Because I have to quickly find out the real facts that are currently happening to me, and also to my two best friends. And when I reached the library, I immediately walked in several directions, looking for Tina.

And at that moment I saw Tina talking to Ryan. They both look very serious right now there. I stepped slowly, with a pajas face. I feel like there's something. And I can't even believe what I just saw. At the moment, Ryan clasped Tina's palm tightly there and they spoke more seriously. And I just felt really uncomfortable about it. Whahuh? What the hell is going on right now? What are they really hiding? Or what are they talking about without me? Why did they turn out to be so mysterious now? Did I make a mistake? Butwhat? And why didn't they say anything at all?

There are a lot of questions that are popping up in my head right now. But I don't even know what I can do. I felt tense and strange, or maybe I should just pretend not to know anything, until they actually told me.
