Chapter 27

The smell of a room was very foreign to me. Aroma drug – drugs that welcome me. It was a stiff feeling all over my body, and I couldn't feel it. My hands moved, and rubbed both of my eyelids, to adjust the extremely bright light. I scrunched my forehead deeply.The pain and dizziness felt intensely. My head turned slowly and found Sister Refi and Magdum sleeping on the sofa of this hospital room.

The door opened, turning my eyes. Galang stood there, and smiled in relief at me. He quickly stepped his foot, putting the things he was carrying, onto the table near the nightstand where I slept. Hugging my body tightly, putting his head in the hollow of my neck. I raised my right hand free from the infusion, and returned his embrace.

Galang took off his embrace, looking at me with worry. “You're good – is fine? You need anything? You thirsty?” Galang asked me many things that I could only answer with a slab. He rubbed my head, and only then did I realize that my head was wrapped in gauze. Galang kissed my cheek softly.

“Kak Refi's... Magdum... hey! Lily is awake!” He woke them up with a loud voice. Making the two of them tiptoe in shock, and woke up. I smiled a little at them. And immediately they scrambled to get up and get to me. Looked anxiously at me.

“You good – fine?” Refi and Magdum asked simultaneously. I smiled a little to answer.

“I'll call doctor.” Magdum immediately ran out of the room.

Galang sat on the chair that was right beside my left, and Sister Refi who grasped my right hand tightly. Kissing her sometimes. “Doctor, check him!” Magdum's voice averted my eyes. A doctor with a nurse, walked up to me, and directed all the equipment he had. The doctor nodded – nodding his head.

“Lily... preferably, you rest well for three or five days here,” he said which made me wrinkle my forehead.

“What's the reason?” I asked, as I was completely unaware of the pain that had plagued my entire body. I stared at the doctor, Refi, Galang and Magdum in turn.

“Your right leg is broken..” The doctor muttered, and I immediately turned my gaze towards my right foot that was wrapped. Why didn't I realize it at all? “And it took quite a long time for his healing period. Therefore, do not think too much, make sure you all do not make Lily feel depressed. Then excuse me. In one hour, the nurse will deliver the medicine you need to consume.” The doctor immediately went with the nurse who had been with him since.

“So... how can I be here?” I asked shortly after returning the bottle of mineral water to Galang.

“There's been a call through your phone, and we're here soon. Fortunately you are good – is fine. Just a broken bone, and a bumped head. No sign – sign memory loss also.” Refi explained it quite briefly.

“Then the car hit me, how?” I asked once again, because as I recall the car that hit me did not stop at all.

“The car escaped..” Gorge rubbed my cheek. “But take it easy, my men are looking for him. Hopefully, he gets caught soon,” he continued in a furious voice. She's upset.

“If only, you hadn't let him go home alone, none of this would have happened. Lily won't be an accident!” Magdum exclaimed, pointing towards Galang who could only remain silent. And I closed both my eyes. Again – again, he could not hold back his emotions at all.

“Magdum please.. I'm good – fine, okay? Can you guys let me rest now? You guys also need a break..” I'm trying to mediate them.

And I could see Brother Refi trying to calm Magdum's anger. And Galang sat back in the chair beside my nightstand. Just shut up, and say nothing. “You didn't sleep?” I asked, as his large right palm began to rub my hair, and made both of my eyes feel heavy.

“No... I will take care of you,” he replied in a whisper. Little smile. “I'm sorry, Lily. Magdum's right, all this happened because of me. Supposedly, I still force you to come home with me. or at least follow you during the trip.” I rubbed his hand. “But no. I'm stupid, for not being able to take care of you. I'm sorry, Lily.”.

“Don't blame yourself, Galang. I was careless and would not listen to your words. I'm wrong. I'm sorry too.” I muttered, and without feeling any tears fall on my cheek. And Galang immediately deleted it.

“Sleep...” whispered and I began to close my eyes.
