“Razita died,” was only one word but was able to make Evelyn surprised to hear it. Evelyn turned to Sean who was now looking at me seriously.

“This is the reason why Kenrick paid more attention to him. Because Razita has a weak heart. Kenrick didn't mean to hurt you. He loves you so much, it's just the circumstances that made him do that,” Sean explained. Sean learned of this fact a few days ago at Razita's funeral.

Hearing this made the cynical smile cynically.

“If Razita doesn't die I'm sure she's still taking care of that woman. Without thinking of me!” cynical Evelyn who now instead has bad thoughts on Kenrick.

“Can you not be selfish?” sean asked Evelyn so sharply.

“You know as long as you've been gone Kenrick has been like a madman. All he knew was drinking alcohol. Came to the hospital when the waiter said Razita was getting worse. Razita has no family. His parents died when he was seventeen years old in a plane crash, during this time his uncle took care of him but now his uncle instead forgets him and has been so busy with his own family as well as his job, and his,” clear Sean. Evelyn stared at Sean looking for lies in every word the man said. But he did not find it at all.

“I still can't accept all this,” Evelyn said as she lowered her head and played her fingers. Sean let out a rough sigh then looked at Evelyn seriously.

“I know you still haven't received it. Your heart must have been so hurt. But trust me, Kenrick loves you. This night he wasn't looking for you because Razita was still by his side, he just kept quiet not looking for you, because he wanted to give you time to think and calm yourself down,” is clear Sean without telling Evelyn about the deal he made with Kenrick. Sean clearly knew Kenrick would not have that much patience to wait for Evelyn to calm down. Even now the reason comes because it can no longer be patient. Although Sean had tried to hold him back his end he lost as well.

“What does he do that?” evelyn asked with a serious look at Sean who was now nodding his head at Evelyn's question.

“Yes he did it for you. He loves you so much that he's afraid of losing you. Think about it well,” Sean said with a shady look.  Evelyn ended up just replying to him with a nod. Seeing that Paul immediately drove his car away from where they stopped and headed to Evelyn's apartment as she wanted it.

“Does she know if I'm pregnant?” evelyn asked doubtfully. Staring at Sean with a curious look. Evelyn wishes Kenrick didn't know.

“No, I want you to tell him this yourself,” Sean explained. Evelyn ended up just nodding and during the trip there was nothing they were talking about. He's pretty grateful Kenrick hasn't found out at least with this there's nothing Kenrick can serve as their compelling reason for being together.

Arriving in front of Evelyn's apartment building. Sean asks Evelyn to go straight into the apartment and apologizes for not being able to drive him. The man himself chooses to go somewhere, Sean only says if he has any business. Evelyn walked to the elevator but when she got to the front of the elevator, she even saw the writing if the elevator was broken.

“Sial” Evelyn finally chose to climb the stairs to the seventh floor. He is so tired now. Arriving in front of his apartment. Evelyn felt her cramping stomach as if she was too tired after climbing the stairs.

“Sial once the elevator was even damaged. My stomach is so cramping,” complained Evelyn while holding her stomach that hurts. His breathing was even still irregular due to boredom.

“Evelyn you're home hm?” it was the last sound Evelyn heard.

“Kenrick?!” evelyn murmured before the pain got worse and took away her patience. Kenrick, who saw Evelyn unconscious, was of course worried and immediately carried her down the stairs to the nearest hospital with a state of worry. Afraid something might happen to Evelyn.

Kenrick who was ready to be angry at Evelyn was now even made worried by the woman.

Evelyn opened her eyes as her throat felt thirsty. Evelyn looked at the clock on the wall showing it at 4:30 in the morning. Looking towards her side as Evelyn felt a heavy weight in her hand which turned out to be a sleeping Kenrick.

“You are indeed very handsome, but also dangerous,” Evelyn murmured. His hand was raised to touch the man but the man woke up and made him look away.

“You're up Darling?” kenrick asked in a typical wake-up voice but sounded so worried.

Evelyn just kept quiet and had no interest in answering the man's question. Makes Kenrick sigh rough.

“You need something?” ask Kenrick.

“Air.” Evelyn said briefly but Kenrick understood and immediately took water for Evelyn. Evelyn immediately took it and upheld it by half.  Once done, Evelyn handed it back to Kenrick.

“Sleep again, it's still morning,” said Kenrick while confirming Evelyn's blanket.

“What are you here for?” evelyn asked instead of obeying Kenrick's orders to go back to sleep. Hearing Evelyn's words so cynical made Kenrick sigh and then hold the woman's hand. Evelyn just quietly let the men hold her hand because in fact she also misses Kenrick.

“I don't need it,” cynical Evelyn while turning her attention the other way as still reluctant to stare at Kenrick. His longing now seems to have been buried by ego over the wounds Kenrick gave.

“You're still mad at me? Shouldn't I be the one that's mad at you?” ask Kenrick with his serious face. Evelyn looked towards Kenrick as the man looked at her flatly with his sharp gaze.

“You didn't even tell me you were pregnant,” upset Kenrick who just found out from the doctor who examined Evelyn. Evelyn who heard that Kenrick knew it was shocked.

“Because it is not necessary. I will take care of it myself without you,” Evelyn said trying to divert her surprise.

“Can you not be selfish? Even last night you almost jeopardized it. Are you sure you can take care of him yourself? And have you gone mad up the stairs to the sixth floor while the contents are still weak. What if something happens to you?” Charles looked so angry, all of it was clearly visible in the look of his face that was so flat and sharp.

“That's my business!” cynical Evelyn who still does not want to give up.

“Still be selfish? Why did you go to a club when you were pregnant? What's wrong with you?!” angry Kenrick who is now standing while massaging the base of his nose. Kenerick tried to restrain his anger from speaking in a high tone to Evelyn.

“What do you care about Kenrick? Even if I die with this kid you don't have to mess with him. There are still many women who want you. And you can ask her for a child. So you don't have to marry me anymore!” vexed Evelyn with a look against him at Kenrick who was not at all afraid of the man. Anger had already broken the feeling of fear for Evelyn.

“I already have a child from you. Why do I have children from other women? I will marry you,” said Kenrick firmly.

“This is my son!” evelyn is not willing to lose.

Having managed to control his anger now Kenrick chose to sit in his place lag. Until the man's hand stretched out to stroke Evelyn's stomach. Evelyn was silent, she could feel the calmness as Kenrick stroked her stomach. His cramp that was still a little there is now slowly improving because of Kenrick who stroked his stomach.

“Also my son, darling. Please let me take care of him. I beg!” kenrick said softly. He no longer wanted to make the mistake of yelling Evelyn so it was better to start learning to control his anger so that he would no longer hurt Evelyn.

“Cih! What did you say? Isn't that so sickening! He wouldn't want to have a father like you,” sins Evelyn which actually makes Kenrick chuckle to hear it.

“He would be proud to have a father like me,” Kenrick said confidently.

“Cih you are very confident!” evelyn said cynically. Never changed Kenrick does have high self-confidence.

“I am a handsome, rich, and kind-hearted father. What makes him not proud of me?” kenrick's arrogant which even makes Evelyn shudder to hear it.

“I hate you! And I'm sure my son doesn't like his mother being hurt. I'm tired, I want to sleep. Don't bother me,” Evelyn said and turned her back to Kenrick, who now exhales violently and rubs his face with rage.
