There's No Love

After making sure Evelyn was safe, Sean immediately drove his car out of the parking lot. They are now silent to each other. Nobody starts the conversation. Evelyn simply fell silent as she stared out the window with her flat face. Wanting to cry, but it felt like his tears had run out just to cry over Kenrick's attitude that lately did make him so tired.

“Where are you going?” sean asked when he was driving but did not know where they were going next. Sean turned to Evelyn at a glance, to make sure that the woman was okay.

"Airport,” Evelyn said without looking at Sean who has now been surprised by the answer.

“What do you mean Evelyn?” toilet Sean with his fierce face. Even the man stopped his car to speak seriously to Evelyn who now looks just lifeless.

"I want to go back to New York,” Evelyn said flatly. Still reluctant to look towards Sean.

“You crazy?!” asked Sean who was surprised to hear Evelyn's words. He knows that Kenrick did hurt the woman but thinks they still have to talk to each other fearing misunderstandings between them.

"Do you have the heart to see me continue to feel heartache? Don't you love me?” asked Evelyn who now sounded so weak. Evelyn turned towards Sean with a sad look as well as her gaze which was clearly so tired with everything the woman was facing.

“You know I love you very much. You are the first woman I love and I cannot have, ” Sean said with sincerity in every word he said. Sean loved Evelyn so much that he was ready to exchange his life for Evelyn, but by letting the woman go with injuries he seemed unable to.

"Then why don't you help me Sean. You're starting to hate me?” evelyn asked so bitterly. It was not his intention to take advantage of Sean's love for her. It's just circumstances that forced him to do all this.

“That's not what I mean Evelyn.” Sean is so angry. Don't know how to tell Evelyn. Sean knew for sure that Evelyn was already so tired of the many things that had happened to her. Adapting to Kenrick's black world alone Evelyn must have been a hard time but Evelyn insisted on going ahead, but Kenrick now hurts her instead.

"Then? You want to see me continue to hurt?” ask Evelyn again to Sean who has now rubbed his face huffed.

“Of course not, Evelyn. How could I like to see it? Even I'd love to get you out of Kenrick. If I had found you first, and if I were the one you love. I will never hurt you,” Sean said with great emphasis in each word.

Sean turned his head the other way by closing his eyes. His words were already so presumptuous to his employer but that was the reality.

"What's the problem with Sean? Are you afraid of Kenrick? Take it easy Sean, I won't involve you,” Evelyn said earnestly.

“It's not so Evelyn. I don't even care if Kenrick punishes me. I was only worried about you when you ran away. You know what Kenrick did the last time you ran away. I'm afraid Kenrick hurt you,” said Sean who has now turned to Evelyn with a serious face. Evelyn who heard it fell silent. Stuck in his make. Sean loved her so much. And suppose that the cleverness that Sean said was true must be he was happy with Sean instead of what he is now that only makes him hurt.

Sean is a flat man but he knows Sean is a good man who never hurt women. Even when Kenrick hurt her, Sean defended her, Sean protected her.

"I don't care about Sean. My heart has been too hurt,” Evelyn said after waking up from her attitude to Sean's remarks.

"I can take care of myself from Kenrick, but this pain you think will stop if I'm still with Kenrick?” ask Evelyn who is still trying to persuade Sean to help her.

Hearing Evelyn's words, Sean went silent trying to think of the path he took so as not to harm Evelyn. Sean let out a huffed sigh before finally nodding his head.

“Good. But I will accompany you. I will always watch over you and protect you. And we're not going back to your apartment. I'll buy a house for us,” Sean said firmly. Instead of wanting to take Evelyn from her Master, she just wanted to protect the people she loved.

"No, you stay here and don't tell Kenrick if you drive me. Just tell me if I go alone,” reject Evelyn who doesn't want Sean to be involved in her problems. He doesn't want Sean to be in trouble because of him.

“No, I will take you to New York,” Sean said. He doesn't even care about his safety because for him Evelyn is the most important.

"Sean I'm fine,” Evelyn said gently but full of threats.

“You should contact me if anything happens. I'm really going to buy a house for you. I hope your uncle can be invited to work together,” Sean said with a rough sigh.

"I knew. You just calm down. My uncle will definitely protect me,” Evelyn said with a soothing smile at Sean who finally answered him with a nod.

After that, during the trip to the airport, no one started a conversation. They are silent with their own thoughts and Sean is now focused on driving.

Soon they finally arrived at the airport. Sean had previously booked Evelyn a ticket, so the woman could get a quick flight.

“Your ticket,” said Sean handed Evelyn a ticket. Evelyn immediately picked it up and frowned confusedly at the ticket.

“Chicago?” evelyn asked that Sean replied with a nod.

“I'm looking for the fastest flight, it's a ten minute flight away. So listen to me carefully. You go to Chicago. There'll be my man who will replace you, he'll bring a change of clothes to exchange for yours. We have to trick Kenrick. So I hope you can work well together. I will ask my people to prepare everything,” said Sean while embracing both shoulders Evelyn who now has sparkling eyes to hear Sean's words. The man seemed to have prepared everything well. But their time is not much. No wonder Kenrick trusted Sean so much, the work of the man was so good.

“Thank you Sean. You helped me so much. But isn't this a betrayal?!” evelyn said that even made Sean laugh to hear it.

“I'll bear it. The most important thing is that you can be happy. If you want to go back, come back. Solve your problems with Mister,” Sean said as he stroked Evelyn's head.

“Sooner or later you will find you. I'm just helping you so that you can find you longer,” said Sean who was replied with a nod by Evelyn.

“I go,” said Evelyn. Hugged Sean for a while before finally leaving leaving Sean who was now sighing violently.

“Even if after this Taun kills me, I don't mind Evelyn. Let's meet in the next life and live happily,” muttered Sean with a smile of his own.
