Concern of Kenrick

Kenrick immediately stood up from his seat after Jessie finished saying what she needed to convey. Evelyn who saw him frowned confusedly and held Kenrick's hand.

“What's up?” evelyn asked as Kenrick was about to leave to listen, her question Kenrick smiled so calmly as he gently stroked Evelyn's hand.

“Not a big deal, just continue eating you,”, Kenrick told Evelyn, who sighed violently and then let go of Kenrick's hand with his upset face. Kenrick was never open to him, even Evelyn felt she knew nothing about the real Kenrick.

After saying that Kenrick immediately went with Jessie who now left Evelyn along with her two servants waiting for Evelyn to eat breakfast.

“I'm done, I want to go to the front garden,” said Evelyn who even just ate a little.

Afterwards Evelyn immediately stood up and walked first which was followed by three servants behind her who faithfully followed Evelyn. Upon reaching the park behind Evelyn, she frowned in confusion when she saw Kenrick and Jessie, who turned out to head for the south building, making Evelyn wonder what was really going on there.

But he couldn't ask anyone because Kenrick would've kept their mouths shut. But when he saw Vera a sweet smile was engraved on the woman's face as if he now found a diamond in a pile of junk.

“Nancy brought me fruit from the newly picked garden,” Evelyn said ordering Nancy one of her servants who immediately answered her with a nod to obey the orders of the Nonanya Nancy immediately went from there.

“Fany, can you help me pick up orange juice?” evelyn asked with her pleading gaze which was answered with a nod by Fany making Evelyn smile sincerely towards Fany.

Fany immediately left to do Evelyn's orders. Now left Evelyn alone with the faithful Vera standing beside her.

“Vera. Don't you forget that's not the reason you got out of that building?” evelyn asked as she looked towards the south mansion building. Vera who heard this nodded her head. Of course he remembers it.

“Sure Miss,” said Vera to Evelyn who now looks at Vera with her smile.

“You know what's going on there right now?” evelyn asked Vera who instead of answering the woman now lowered her head and fell silent.

“Remember Vera, if not for me now you are still there,” firmly Evelyn tried to persuade Vera to tell him.

“Carlo fell ill Miss, so Mr. Kenrick and the butler came to see the doctor who examined Carlo,” Vera said in response to Evelyn's question which now made Evelyn smile sarcastically at the answer.

“It looks like Kenrick is indeed so considerate of the woman,” Evelyn muttered with a cynical smile that can still be heard by Vera who now just lowered her head.

Soon Kenrick and Jessie, a female doctor, came out of the building. After saying goodbye, the doctor immediately left as well as Kenrick and Jissie. Evelyn's gaze was now so straight looking at the two people of different ages who seemed to realize that Evelyn was staring at her that they were compactly looking at Evelyn.

“This is the fruit you asked for,” said Nancy who brought a basket containing fruit that she had just taken. Seeing this Evelyn smiled cynically looking at him.

“Bring Carlo, say it from me,”, said Evelyn, who left soon after. Hearing this Nancy was surprised and confused by what she now had to do.

Evelyn was now wandering around the Mansion looking for a gap to escape. Kenrick had left for his business trip making Evelyn now free to tour the Mansion.

Evelyn felt that she had to leave the mansion immediately. Although Evelyn still thought about her uncle when he ran away, her anger at him closed her eyes. Not only because Kenrick had taken something he had taken care of but also because he was so upset with Kenrick that he still did not tell him about Carlo.

“I was so bored. Jessie I want to watch,” Evelyn told Jessie if she wanted to watch to relieve her boss.

“Good Madam let me drop off,” said Jessie who immediately followed the woman and immediately directed Evelyn to the theater room that had guards standing guard there.

The bodyguard bowed respectfully then immediately entered the room to organize the theater room. Finally Evelyn watched in the company of Jessie who today only accompanies her because Evelyn who ordered her three other servants to tidy up the items she bought yesterday.

“Nona you want to watch what movie?” jessie asked as they sat in one of the seats in the room, Evelyn thought for a moment before answering with a nod.

“Whatever is a comedy genre,” said Evelyn. Now he wants to entertain himself so he chose a film genre that can make him laugh because lately he is so difficult to laugh because of Kenrick.

“Good Miss,” after Jessie immediately went to tell the guard who was on guard to play movies with the romance genre

Evelyn was now staring blankly at the screen in front of her that was starting to play the movie. But his mind seemed not to be there, he was still thinking of a way to escape. But Evelyn thought there was no way for her to escape so she better comforted herself and removed her burden for a moment so she thought if actually there was no harm if she started accepting Kenrick, or simply accepting his present life without being disturbed also puts his heart on Kenrick, but the question is whether he can do it? Can he not put his heart on Kenrick with the attitude of the man who can always make him lose with his own defense?

“Nona do you want something?” Jessie asked Evelyn. Hearing Jessie's question immediately Evelyn turned to Jessie and nodded her head and smiled at Jessie.

“Jus and popcorn,” Evelyn said with her smile answered with a nod by Jessie. He felt bored and unfocused if there was nothing he could eat or drink.

“Good Miss I will take it,” Jessie said to which Evelyn responded with a nod.

Before long Jessie left Evelyn alone, but soon Evelyn felt that someone was walking over and sitting next to her. Evelyn who sensed the presence of someone immediately turned her head towards her side, until she was made to be surprised when she realized who was coming. It wasn't Jessie or Kenrick but a man he thought was Kenrick's enemy who was now at his side.

“Ronald?”
