“You already know who sold the information?” kenrick asked with a serious look at Jola, who this time immediately gave her iPad that contained the information Kenrick needed.

Seeing this, Kenrick immediately took it and read what Jola gave. His jaw now looks hard read what is presented in front of him.

“He is just a messenger boy,” said Kenrick while throwing the iPad that makes Jola close his eyes while looking down afraid of the anger of his boss.

“True sir, but he was so loyal that he did not want to open his mouth to tell who ordered it and preferred to end his life,”. Kenrick clenched his hand angrily trying not to put his anger on the woman who became his informant.

“I want you to investigate this immediately,” insisted Kenrick who got the nod from his subordinates.

“Steve, for my engagement party I leave it to you. Don't make mistakes,” said Kenrick to Steve who immediately answered with a nod obediently.

“Sean, you keep investigating the problem of the weapon with others,” Kenrick told the subordinate who answered with a nod.

“Do everything as soon as possible, I don't want any mistakes,” said Kenrick firmly. After saying this, the man immediately left the meeting room in the eastern building.

Now he walked towards his mansion to see the woman had come or not. As planned, Evelyn is now looking at her dress at the boutique along with her other servants.

But when Kenrick was just about to enter his Mansion suddenly his name was called which made Kenrick immediately turn to the source of the voice that turned out to be Carlo. Seeing the woman made Kenrick immediately approached her with a frown on his forehead.

“For a long time Mr. did not go to the south mansion,” said Carlo with a clear smile that actually the smile was hiding anger.

“I am busy,” said Kenrick indifferently which actually now makes Carlo laugh to hear the words of the man in front of him. Kenrick frowned when he heard the woman's reaction, thinking that Carlo might have gone mad.

“Busy with that woman? And prepare for your engagement?” carlo asked with a cynical smile that made Kenrick take a rough breath with his piercing glare for the woman.

“You already know that, right? Then why are you still asking?” asked Kenrick with a serious look. Carlo now lowered his head to hear Kenrick's words as if there was no guilt when he said them.

“Don't Taun feel unfair? I was the first to be here and accompany you, but why is that woman whom Taun married?” carlo asked with a soft look at Kenrick.

Kenrick sighed harshly with his flat gaze at the woman in front of him.

“Don't I have made the rules from the beginning if I wouldn't marry one of you? You should be self-aware of what makes you here,” firmly Kenrick on Carlo who unconsciously has now shed tears of his eyes hearing the words of the man in front of him who is now so piercing. Kenrick says it as if she was a mistress of a male, even though that is the truth.

Previously Kenrick did make a rule if he would not marry one of these women and only make them as his captives. Of them, no one expected more than Carlo. But when Evelyn came, many hoped to be in the position of Evelyn.

“What about the woman? Isn't he the same as us? You got it because his family is in debt with you, right?” carlo asked the right target, hearing this Kenrick laughed cynically but soon he pulled the woman's hair so violently that Carlo grimaced because of the man.

“Master please let go of Sir. You hurt me,” said Carlo with a cry while grimacing in pain due to the men who were rude in front of him.

“You have no right to equate Evelyn with you. You were a seductress when I found her, and Evelyn? She was a holy girl when I found her. Then you think you're the same as him?” kenrick's anger at Carlo who is now trying to hold Kenrick's hand which continues to pull his hair in a taut.

It would be wrong if he vilified Evelyn in front of Kenrick. He knows for himself how Kenrick behaves and how he treats Evelyn.

“I'm sorry Sir, I won't do it again,” said Carlo, who now continues to plead with Kenrick. He is not strong if he continues to withstand the torture of Kenrick.

“Kenrick,” the screams made Kenrick and Carlo turn to Evelyn who was now walking towards Kenrick with a sharp look towards the man. Seeing Evelyn's arrival seemed to get her luck for Carlo.

“Jessie, help Carlo and bring him back to his room,” Evelyn insists to Jessie who immediately answers him with a nod.

Jessie immediately walked up to Carlo with Nancy to get the woman out of there.

Vera and Fira immediately leave from there giving the two employers space to talk.

“What are you doing Kenrick? You can't be rude to women,” Evelyn said so firmly to Kenrick who this time just fell silent while clenching her hands trying to hold back her anger.

Evelyn breathed a rough breath, knowing she couldn't face Kenrick with emotion either, given how the man behaved.

“Follow me,” Evelyn said as she pulled Kenrick into her room. Now the woman took Kenrick into the mansion to their room.

After arriving at her room Evelyn sat Kenrick in their king-size bed and hugged the man.

Evelyn stroked the top of Kenrick's head which was now right in her stomach.  Because now Kenrick is sitting and Evelyn is standing. Kenrick now hugged the woman tightly to ease her anger.

Only by hugging her can she feel calm and relieve her anger.

“Kenrick, I don't like you being rude like that,” Evelyn told Kenrick, closing her eyes this time.

“I did it because he insulted you. I don't like anyone insulting or hurting you,” Kenrick told Evelyn who made Evelyn exhale to hear the man's words.

“You shouldn't get emotional, don't be rude anymore I don't like it. Just let him say what he wants the most important thing I don't like that,” Evelyn said so patiently to Kenrick. Facing Kenrick with emotion will not make it calm that Evelyn is also ignited emotions.

“I don't care what they say about me, all I care about is your judgment because I belong to no one else,” Evelyn said with her smile as she let go of her embrace while cupping Kenrick's face which made Kenrick smile while nodding his head.

Kenrick sighed and pulled Evelyn on the nape, kissing the woman impatiently. Until finally that afternoon Kenrick instead did things they should not do before marriage.
