Kenrick's Busyness

Upon entering the rooftop Evelyn was so fascinated to see its beauty. This building is really luxurious. Even in this rooftop there are places to relax and cafes with the feel of a campground.  Evelyn did not expect that Kenrick could pamper his employees with facilities like this. So luxurious and soothing. Anyone would feel at home for a long time in this place.

“Mistress you want to order something?” steve asked as he walked around looking for a place for them to sit down.

Evelyn turned her head towards Steve who was following her, it seemed like Kenrick was asking for it. Since Kenrick knew that Sean liked Evelyn, the man made clear boundaries so that Sean would not get too close to the woman.

"A glass of orange juice and french fries,”, Hazel said

“Alright Mistress. I'll order it for you,” Steve said with a smile.

"Thank you,” Evelyn said with a smile. Before long Steve immediately went to order Evelyn's food.

Evelyn chose to sit in an oval bean bag while waiting for Steve. Not long after Steve came to bring his order and put it on a small table in front of him. Now many were looking at Evelyn with envious gazes. Of course they knew who the woman was with Kenrick's bodyguard.

"You didn't order anything?” evelyn asked Steve, but now he only has his order on the table.

“No Madam,” replied Steve soberly. Because there is no way he can relax when his job is to keep Evelyn instead of relaxing. Evelyn finally just nodded then enjoyed her meal while relaxing.

"Steve's. How's Sean doing?” evelyn asked who had become so curious about the man that Evelyn had not met for a long time, no matter where Kenrick had sent her. Kenrick keeps Sean busy after learning about the man's feelings for Evelyn.

“Sean is fine Madam. Currently he is in Dubai with Max,” friend of Steve who makes Evelyn raise next to his eyebrows confused to hear Steve's answer.

"Is he on vacation?” ask Evelyn curiously. Hearing Evelyn's question, success made Steve laugh. There is nothing wrong with the woman's question. It's just that Steve laughed at Evelyn's innocence.  Evelyn frowned confused at Sean's laughter because she thought nothing was funny, so what was the man laughing for.

“For people like us where to take a vacation. Mr. too often gives us tasks,” said Steve with the rest of his laughter. Evelyn who heard this glared her eyes in disbelief at Steve's words.

"Ck! That man is heartless. You should be able to go on vacation without caring about it,” annoyed Evelyn because she felt that Kenrick considered his subordinates like a robot that could only work. They are all normal human beings who should lead normal lives and be able to reproduce well. But Kenrick kept telling him to work.

“If I am off what about security? Likewise with the subordinates of the other Master,” said Steve explained. Steve smiled so gently at Evelyn.

"What is Kenrick's enemy so much?” evelyn asked while squinting her eyes feeling curious. How much is Kenrick's enemy.

“Not only about enemies. But also about the development of the company and the Roymond family,” explained Steve who made Hazel nod her head understand. He thought it was all because of Kenrick's enemies, but he was wrong.

"I don't understand about that. It's worth Kenrick looking busy,” Evelyn said, nodding her head as she downed her drink and ate her food.

“Ah yes some of Mr. Kenrick's work was transferred to Niar,” said Steve. Evelyn chose nonchalantly and finished her meal. But now his mind is so focused on the words of Steve.

Until shortly Steve asked permission to leave because there was business that he had to do. Evelyn chose to head to the campsite with a tent attached there.

Evelyn immediately poured down her body and chose to close her eyes enjoying the calming atmosphere there, even though so many were there but the situation was so soothing. Until soon Evelyn could feel someone coming in and sitting next to her. Evelyn opened her eyes and saw Kenrick sitting next to her on her iPad.

"You'd better leave if it's just for work,” Evelyn annoyed when she saw Kenrick who was still busy with his iPad. If only for work then why did the man come to him?

“Alright, if that's what you want,” said Kenrick who looked indifferent and was about to leave. Seeing this Evelyn glared her eyes because instead of putting her iPad Kenrick instead prefers to leave her.

"Hey! Wait Kenrick! You prefer your job to mine?” evelyn asked in frustration at Kenrick. Kenrick laughed and sat down next to Evelyn.

“I'm just kidding baby,” said Kenrick with the rest of his laughter. Evelyn clucked irritably at the man's words.

Evelyn immediately sat down as she recalled Steve saying that all of Kenrick's work was transferred to Niar from this morning.

"Steve said that if your job was switched to Niar. What are you really working on? You're not busy cheating?” evelyn asked Kenrick a question. Kenrick raised his eyebrows because Evelyn accused him of cheating. But also happy because Evelyn turned out to be jealous of him.

“Where might I be able to do that Dear. Don't think too much about something strange,” said Kenrick so gently trying to calm the woman and not ignited emotions just because of Evelyn's accusations..

“I won't tell you before it's all done,” Kenrick said nonchalantly. Hearing this Evelyn glared her eyes and looked at Kenrick with her pursed lips irritated.

"It looks like you're really cheating,” Evelyn said with frustration. His mind was now unable to cooperate. Remembering Kenrick who was often close to many women really scared Evelyn. Even though he knows that Kenrick has changed.

“Sweetie I can't cheat on you. Stop thinking bad,” said Kenrick who still gently calms the woman.

"I won't forgive you if that happens. And I can be with Sean. You know she would accept me,” Evelyn threatened with an annoyed face as well. Kenrick was now staring flatly at Evelyn hearing the words of the woman.

“I won't cheat on you. So you don't have to bother apologizing,” Kenrick said seriously.

"And won't let you go to anyone" Kenrick said. Of course he would not give Evelyn to anyone because he thought Evelyn was his and always will be his.

Kenrick's resolute voice made Evelyn smile to hear him. Kenrick was so protective and loved Evelyn so much.

“Then what are you really working on?" Evelyn asked with a flustered raise next to her eyebrows. He wants to take Kenrick's iPad to see it but Kenrick hides it immediately and Evelyn purses her lips.

“There is something I have to look for,” said Kenrick who made Evelyn raise her eyebrows baffled at the man's answer.

"What is it?” evelyn asked with a curious look and investigated it.

“You'll find out later,” said Kenrick with a soothing smile that even made Evelyn cluck to hear it.

"Hurry and tell me now, Kenrick. Don't make me curious,” annoyed Evelyn who was so curious about what Kenrick actually did that she ignored him.

“No, I will not tell you,” said Kenrick firmly still want to hide it from Evelyn and do not want to tell it.

"Currently you are evil! I feel suspicious about what you're hiding.” Evelyn was now looking annoyed and suspicious of the man.

“No need to think strangely dear,” said Kenrick gently while stroking the top of Evelyn's head.

"In that case, quickly tell me not to think badly,” urged Evelyn so that Kenrick could tell her.

Kenrick finally sighed feeling that if no one gave up then this debate would continue. Evelyn with the feeling of her head is indeed the right combination, finally Kenrick gave her iPad to Evelyn
