When Evelyn and Kenrick headed to the dining room, there was Max, Sean, and Steve talking. Jessie was preparing the food she had finished cooking. Jessie now cooks a lot of food considering that now the food is cooked not only for Evelyn and Kenrick but also there are three people who trust Kenrick and Jessie herself.

"Sorry can't help you cook Jessie,” Evelyn said with a look full of regret She felt sorry for Jessie who had to cook a lot of food alone.

“No Madam, this is my duty,” Jessie said with a smile. Evelyn simply nodded then immediately sat down beside Kenrick with the man who was at the head of the dining table chair.

"Sit down Jessie, let's eat together,” Evelyn tells Jessie. Jessie only eats alone and only sees those who are eating together.

“No Madam, you eat first,” reject Jessie so gently, she is just a waitress so feel inappropriate if you have to sit down with her employer.

“Sit down,” Kenrick's orders as if he didn't want to hear another rebuttal. Hearing Kenrick's strict orders, the servant complied and sat down next to the empty Evelyn while the other three men sat down before Evelyn.

“How is it now?” kenrick asked because he had not asked about the latest information about the betrayal.

“All is under control Mr.” said Max who now answers the question of his supervisor.

“Ronald has got the reply. Your Uncle and Aunt have already taken over to punish him. While his followers and also gangsters who support him you have been locked up in prison under Mr.”, Sean said continuing Max's remarks because he was the one in charge of taking care of the mess caused by Ronald.

“Looks like he wouldn't dare to fight his parents,” cynical Steve held back his laughter considering how obedient Ronald was to his parents.

“Yes we know how the man loved his parents so much,” Sean said, continuing until they laughed together. Sean smiled at her.

Ronald does cooperate with a small time gangster for his betrayal.

“So it's true he's the one who buys weapons and does terter information?” kenrick asked, answered with a nod by his three subordinates. Kenrick let out a sigh he did not expect that Ronald would be able to go this far.

As they were talking about what had happened, Evelyn suddenly remembered about her uncle.

"My uncle? Is she okay? Where is he?” evelyn asked to cut off the talk of the four men who had now turned their attention to Evelyn. Evelyn wishes her uncle well. He was worried about his uncle.

“Your uncle is fine Darling. You take it easy, Max has taken care of it,” said Kenrick with a soothing smile. Evelyn breathed a sigh of relief at Kenrick's words. Although Evelyn's relationship is not good with Max, she trusts him enough.

“Your uncle is fine. Currently he has returned to New York,” explained Max who sounded friendlier than usual. Either because the man wanted to change for Evelyn or because there was Kenrick among them. But Evelyn did not need to be clear she was so grateful to the man.

"Thank you Max,” Evelyn said sincerely. Max nodded his head

“It's my job Mistress,” said Max.

They resumed the conversation about the incident that Evelyn had just experienced earlier.

“Evelyn you come back first. There's still something I have to discuss with them,” Kenrick said after they finished their dinner. Evelyn simply replied to him with a nod and then immediately passed from there to her room. Jessie decided to go and clean the dining room.

Evelyn is now sitting in her room because there is no cell phone that she can play. Evelyn just looked around the room like this basement. As Evelyn was focusing on the surroundings of the room, the sound of the door being opened made Evelyn turn her head. Kenrick walked limping towards the woman.

“Quick help me Dear. Why are you just silent hm?” annoyed Kenrick saw Evelyn just silent in her position without the intention of helping her who was in distress.

Evelyn chuckled at him and immediately approached the man. Evelyn embraces Kenrick helping the man to sit on the sofa there.

“Honey looks like we have to postpone our marriage until all is safe,” Kenrick said regretfully. Their marriage had to be postponed. Behind this is a lot of misfortune that overflows them.

Kenrick hugged the woman tightly, occasionally the man kissed Evelyn's forehead by channeling how much he loved the woman in his arms.

“Also this is all my fault,” Evelyn said after a long time they were silent in that position.

“Stop blaming yourself. Everything has happened and this is for our lesson,” Kenrick recalled. She didn't want Evelyn to continue to blame herself for what happened to them.

"Thank you for forgiving me Kenrick,” Evelyn said. After the mess he made and stubborn that continues to argue with Kenrick but the man is still kind enough to forgive him again.

“How can I be angry at the woman I love so much?” said Kenrick who now tucked his head between the niche of the woman's neck. Inhaling deeply the scent of his typical female body that is so soothing and becomes opium for him.

Evelyn scented to him so intoxicatingly. There is no alcohol or nicotine content but it is so intoxicating and makes it addictive. Kenrick wanted to continue like this, staying close to the woman.

"I love you too,” Evelyn said as she stroked Kenrick's hand that hugged her waist.

“Thank you for loving me,” said Kenrick with a happy smile.

"It's my job. All because of your efforts,” Evelyn said. Kenrick showed a sweet smile that made Evelyn also smile to see him.

“Ingin take a walk?” bargain Kenrick after releasing their embrace.

Evelyn seemed to think for a moment and then turned her body and now they were facing each other.

“Are you okay? What if you get sick and get worse when you walk?” eveltyn asked with a worried look at Kenrick who chuckled at Evelyn's worried question.

Kenrick was also pleased that Evelyn was worried about him.

“I'm fine baby, just think of it as exercise,” Kenrick said with a soothing smile. Evelyn looked silent then nodded her head in agreement. Count around looking for fresh air and quieting their minds after this series of events they experienced behind. Especially those who accept their marriage.

They finally rushed to leave.
