Kenrick's request

Evelyn and Kenrick walked towards the car in silence. No one opened the conversation until they got to the car. It was as if no one was interested in opening their voices. Until the car started to drive then Evelyn finally opened her voice first.

"I want you to get my uncle out,” Evelyn bluntly said. Evelyn now looked at Kenrick with a serious look and begged him.

This was indeed his fault for ignoring his uncle for his own sake. Although all this was the result of his uncle's actions, but still the man was the one who took care of him from childhood when he lost both parents.

Evelyn wouldn't have the heart to let her uncle stay in jail. His recklessness led his uncle into prison, and he eventually had to return to his golden cage. Nothing is profitable even this is detrimental to him. And all this was because of Ronald's idea.

“No will,” firmly Kenrick replied to Evelyn's request. In his heart he continues to curse the stubborn and selfish man beside him. What exactly is Kenrick thinking? Even now he has returned then for what else his uncle in prison?

"I beg Kenrick. Besides, now I've come back to you,” Evelyn said earnestly even though behind the lines she sounded sulking at the man.

Kenrick who was originally looking straight ahead immediately turned his gaze to Evelyn and looked at the woman with a serious look. Kenrick's driver who was there chose to pay attention to his ears and did not want to interfere with his boss's problems because he still loved his life and work.

“What do I get if I get your uncle out?” Kenrick asked by raising his eyebrows. His hands were now covered in chest staring at the woman beside him with a serious look.

"Kenrick I beg you. Whatever you ask I will give you,” Evelyn said earnestly.

For his uncle he would do anything for Kenrick. After all, he was stuck with the man. So even if Kenrick asks her to stay he will accept it. He could no longer escape from the man.

“You sure?” ask Kenrick to make sure. Evelyn was silent to hear it. His logic says to agree to it, but his heart is still confused.

“I don't want to force you. Don't do it if you don't want to,” said Kenrick who has now turned his gaze again to the front.

"I can't believe you said that. You're just pretending to be good, right?” evelyn asked with a sinister smile when she heard Kenrick's words. Obviously, all these words are just a tug-of-war process because obviously Kenrick won't let go.

“I'm not that bad, to make you have to decide to get pregnant this fast,” said Kenrick who now managed to make Evelyn surprised.

“You mean?” evelyn asked with a serious look at Kenrick. He didn't hear wrong, did he? Getting pregnant? Does Kenrick want Evelyn pregnant?

“I want you to give me a descendant. But I told you I don't want to force you,” said Kenrick, who this time managed to make Evelyn stunned to hear it. He hoped he heard wrong but apparently not, his ears still functioned by playing.

Evelyn took a deep breath, trying to think well of the man's request.

"I don't want to if without marriage,” said Evelyn finally accepted it, the woman lowered her head. He does not know the decision he made was right or wrong but he hopes this decision is the best decision. But of course he will not just take it for granted. Giving offspring without marital status? He did not want his son to be born without a clear status.

“Then marry me. Believe me I won't hurt you. Wellh unless you make trouble again,” Kenrick said firmly. His gaze was now so firmly staring at Evelyn. Evelyn was silent while watching the streets. This decision is certainly not very clear. Married, had children and was tied to a mobster. Did he think this didn't make Evelyn very surprised?

Kenrick looked at you deeply, giving Evelyn a chance to think about it. Actually there's nothing to think about because he can't escape anyway. Even when his uncle had given up his life in prison for Evelyn, Kenrick was determined to defend Evelyn. Long silent to each other finally Kenrick who first opened the conversation.

“Why are you just silent?” kenrick asked with a raise next to his eyebrows looking at Evelyn confused.

"It's not like that, it's just that I just want to marry the man I love,” Evelyn said with a sigh. His hands are now twisting each other.

“What till now, you still don't love me? What didn't I do for you Evelyn? Until you still don't love me?” kenrick asked with a cynical smile that left Evelyn speechless not knowing what to say. Evelyn is still confused by her own feelings, she feels comfortable with the presence of Kenrick even Evelyn is very angry when the man is together with other women. But his heart still felt afraid to love him further. Given that she was betrayed, Evelyn just didn't want to feel the same pain.

“Married to you is not my dream, so why am I trying to love you?” Evelyn asked sarcastically which made Kenrick chuckle at Evelyn's answer. Evelyn felt like she was now like a man with no standing. But don't blame him. Evelyn is confused on the one hand that she can't escape from Kenrick and her uncle needs her, and on the other hand she doesn't want to marry the man she doesn't love.

“Whatever I will do to get you. So keep learning to love me because you'll live with me forever. You don't have to worry because I will keep you happy,” Kenrick said with a serious look at Evelyn. Because he had promised himself to continue to make Evelyn happy.

"You will only give happiness through matter. I'm not sure you'll love me too,” Evelyn said with a cynical smile at Kenrick. Kenrick looked at Evelyn seriously. Her hand now grasped Evelyn's hand so gently.

“Do you think I've been waiting for you just to play around?” asked Kenrick who again made Evelyn speechless to digest what Kenrick said was the truth? Evelyn looked for lies in the man's gaze but you didn't find it.

“Clothes designer clothes will come to measure your body. You can choose the dress model you want,” said Kenrick who finally chose to end their conversation.

Evelyn, who could only look down, turned her head to look at Kenrick, who was also staring at him.

“Gaun?” evelyn asked with a puzzled look.

“Three more days of our engagement party, and one more month we get married.,” said Kenrick firmly who made Evelyn gaping to hear it. But finally he can only obey the will of the man because obviously the man can not be resisted.
