"He is Kenrick Osvaldo" Evelyn said, closing her eyes as she said the name she knew. Who would not know a man whose name is often displayed in magazines?

“Famous entrepreneur who almost has all kinds of companies that?” livi asked with an incredulous look. Previously he had indeed heard the news if the famous businessman was going to get married. And the woman did not believe that the woman who would be married by the man was her own best friend.

“The most famous investor?” tanya Ivey added. Evelyn simply nodded her head in response. Because that's the truth.  But there's one more thing no one else knows about Kenrick.

"And he is a Mafia,” added Evelyn who revealed a fact unknown to outsiders. Livi and Ivey who heard this immediately glared at her eyes hearing this. Of course they were so surprised to hear it. They did not expect that the handsome and rich businessman was also a dark syndicate.

“You're kidding?” livi asked with an incredulous look.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?” evelyn asked with a flat face that did not show that the woman was joking. Livi and Ivey compactly shook their heads and exhaled violently.

“I had time to hear if you guys are getting married, is that true?” livi asked that Evelyn replied with a nod.

“You're getting married soon, it shows him seriously to you Eve. I'm more sure if you just need time to talk,” said Ivey to his best friend who now just stared at him flat.

“I don't want anymore,” Evelyn said indifferently. His ego and his wounds have now become one as if closing the love he has. For now, he just needs time. His heart still hurt because of that man.

“If you see the position it looks like it will be free if you leave now. I'm sure the man will be looking for you and he must have so many connections, it will be easy to get you Eve,” said Ivey who was replied with a nod of agreement by Livi. Evelyn was speechless at Ivey's words because what the woman said was true too. Kenrick even has a security surveillance room whose employees are ex-intelligence experts.

“His subordinate loves me, he's already made a good plan to protect me. And he is Kenrick's right-hand man,” Evelyn said, hoping for Sean and the man's plans. Even so now he is worried about Sean's condition which must be not okay.

“Mafia does not only have one member of Eve,” said Livi firmly.

"Then should I stay with Livi? I'm sure he won't know I'm there. Actually I already have a new apartment and he won't find me. It's just that if I were in your house I wouldn't have to go anywhere and would just be in your house. And there will be someone watching me,” Evelyn said with a serious face when conveying her idea.

“Actually I don't care if you want to stay with me. You're just sure he won't come and destroy my house?” ask Livi scared. Who is not afraid if the person faced is so influential?

"You rest easy he won't do that,” Evelyn replied with certainty. He was just convincing his best friend. He knows how Kenrick is. The man can do whatever he wants.

“Well you can stay at my house, as you like,” said Livi finally after thinking for a long time. He hoped that the words Evelyn had only spoken as an alibi were true.

"Thank you Livi.” Evelyn smiled at her best friend. Livi simply replied with a nod and a smile.

“Evelyn is she as handsome as she is often in those magazines?” ask Ivey who this time tucked in. He was so curious about the real Kenrick. Is the real one as handsome as the one in the magazine? That's what he's thinking.

"Handsome only as a cover,” cynical Evelyn indirectly admitted that Kenrick is indeed handsome.

“But didn't you say he was very good? He even wants to marry you. That's a sign he is serious to you,” said Ivey who now defends Kenrick. Evelyn who heard it just rolled her eyes lazily heard Ivey's words.

"Who knows if his best friend will come and destroy my relationship,” Evelyn said annoyed.

“Jesslyn true. You shouldn't have cared about that woman,” agreed with Livi and nodded her head together with Ivey.

"I don't want to talk about it anymore,” said Evelyn who chose to end the conversation because she was fed up with continuing to discuss it.

Livi who understood Evelyn did not want to discuss it again immediately returned to the sofa and finished her work. Unlike Ivey who was still sitting next to him with his curiosity.

“Where do you know him?” ask Ivey about the market. He is still very curious about the love story between his best friend and the richest millionaire.

"That's.. He kidnapped me,” Evelyn said as she lowered her head. Ivey who heard it glared at his eyes. While Livi who initially focused on his work now immediately turned to his best friend so surprised. Of course he did not think if his best friend would kidnap. And what is more surprising is. The one who kidnapped his best friend was a rich man.

“How can it?” ask Ivey who follows the questions of his other friends who are now also curious.

"Because my uncle has a lot of debt and I am in exchange,” Evelyn explained. His best friend who heard it was surprised. He knew as long as Uncle Evelyn was not working but they did not expect if the man could sell his own nephew.

“Your uncle never thought of you,” Livi said, shaking her head in disbelief. His uncle sold his nephew for his own sake.

"Have he regretted it anyway,” Evelyn said with a smile. He knew his uncle had changed and regretted his actions. Evelyn hopes that if her uncle finds out that she escaped, he will never return her to Kenrick again.

“I will chop off his head if he dares to sell you again,” said Ivey who seemed to be able to read Evelyn's mind. Evelyn smiled hearing him while nodding her head.

Afterwards Evelyn preferred to rest and close her eyes. The sister also checked it out. Evelyn did not know, whether Evelyn should immediately tell the news of this pregnancy or vice versa. But it looks like Evelyn will choose to stay silent because she no longer wants to be involved with Kenrick. If Kenrick finds out about her pregnancy, the man will be less willing to let go.
