67. What Have I Done?

Helena walked to Jaeha's room carrying a bowl of abalone porridge that was still steaming, as soon as she entered she was shocked by Jaeha who was already awake from his sleep. He intends to go quietly but Jaeha will definitely ask where he went.

“Hyung first, I'm waiting at home.” Jaeha closed his call as soon as he saw Helena coming in. Jaeha could accept Helena who came back to his house. In his little heart he did not blame Helena, he knew all that because of Minho.

The woman sat on the edge of the bed, and handed over the tray she had brought to Jaeha to eat it.

“I don't know if it's good for you or not, at least I think it feels good.” Helena showed a small smile,

Jaeha also smiled, at least he had to be nice even though his mood was bad as well as his body condition.

“But where are you going? Not usually you..”

“I'll be back in France, I know my uncle is alive I'll stay with him.” Said Helena, looking down,

“You're leaving today?”

Helena nodded, “After you finish breakfast I will go straight away.”

“Sorry I can't take you to the airport.” Jaeha said regretfully

“I understand your condition. Fast eat, later cold hunt.”

Helena waited for Jaeha to finish breakfast, taking the empty bowl from Jaeha's hand. “I want to thank you for everything, for then and also for now. Sorry for my stupidity and selfishness Sena so leave you.”

“You have no right to blame yourself, it's nobody's fault. I also have to apologize for my mistakes. I can't be a good man, so Sena left me.”

“Can I ask you something? Last time.”

“What?”

Helena shifted her seat towards Jaeha. Slowly his face approached and quickly the woman kissed Jaeha's lips, making Jaeha gasp in disbelief.

“Sorry at my request, I did it as a farewell. I hope you can be with Sena back, be happy with her.”

Jaeha looks at Helena who disappeared from behind the door, he feels guilty to Helena because he cannot be kind even as a friend to her as long as Helena is here.

Suho who had just come across Helena who was dragging her suitcase, both of them smiled at each other. Suho could now see that Helena had given up on Jaeha. Helena chose to end it all.

“You want to go?” Ask Suho then

Helena nodded, “Please take care of Jaeha, Oppa.”

“You want to take me?” Bargain Suho

“No need, I can go by myself. You must have some business with Jaeha?”

“Alright if it wants you, be careful on your way.”

Jaeha looked at Suho who entered his room, his eyes fixed on the large envelope that Suho was carrying. But even though Jaeha asked her, Suho did not immediately hand over the envelope containing his divorce papers to Jaeha.

“I asked for the last time, are you sure you will sign it?”

“I'm sure of my decision, I don't have to hold back someone who doesn't love me anymore. For what?”

“But you misunderstood him, he—“

“Nobody misunderstood here, everything is clear. Sena is pregnant, that means she is already married to the man in the photo! Do I have to be the jerk who snatches people's wives? I'm still sane enough not to do that.”

Jaeha immediately put his signature and stamp on his divorce papers with Sena.

“Send this to Grandma Nam's house, right now!”

“You sure you don't want to listen to my explanation?” Suho asked to confirm back, who knows Jaeha changed his mind.

“I want to rest Hyung.”

Jaeha lay back down, he pulled the blanket over to cover his entire body to warm himself as well as a signal for Suho to leave immediately. Suho could not do anything more when Jaeha was as stubborn as he was now, Suho finally chose to leave Jaeha to rest.

A plane took off from Zurich International Airport, one of the passengers was Hwaran with the purpose of flying to South Korea's Incheon International Airport. She decided on all her schedules in order to fulfill her duties of being a mother.

“Pardon Mom for reneging on a promise, Sena..”

Jaeha returned to his room with Suho after meeting with the shareholders, Yoo Minju, his secretary, who had just told him that someone was waiting for him inside.

“Who?” Jaeha felt he had no appointments with anyone, but Minju did not answer.

As soon as Jaeha entered, stunned because Hwaran was the person Minju meant, he did not think that Hwaran would come to see him in the middle of his busy schedule.

“Mother.” I don't know what call he should give to Hwaran

Hwaran told Jaeha to sit down because he did not have much time, he took the time to meet Jaeha first before leaving for China.

“I want to tell you something you always expected.”

“Sena is in Amsterdam, right?”

“You already know?” Ask Hwaran “Then why didn't you meet him? Don't you want to meet him?”

“For what I met someone else's wife, we're divorced.”

“What do you mean? Sena's still your wife, Sena still loves you you mean what?”

“I've sent you the divorce papers I signed, I'm sure Sena has already received them.”

“You really want to leave her when she needs you as her husband?!” Hwaran did not expect that Jaeha would just give up on his daughter

“He's married again why do you pretend you don't know?! What do you want Mom to do? You want to make me a jerk?”

“Sena is not married! Why are you talking nonsense about my daughter who is obviously always crying alone for missing you?!”

“He's with another man in Amsterdam! I saw it, what else is wrong?!”

Jaeha moved closer to his desk, he took a photo of Sena with Leon and placed it in front of Hwaran.

“That's proof! He looks so happy with that guy! Sena doesn't love me anymore why is Mom forcing me to meet her!?”

“You misunderstood him! Why don't you find out more about this photo? Why did you jump to the conclusion that Sena was married again when she was pregnant with your son Jaeha!”

Hwaran's last words annoyed Jaeha, “What do you mean by Mother? My-son?”

“Leon is my son! He's Sena's half-brother to my husband! I thought you wouldn't act recklessly and hastily, I thought you wouldn't easily trust these photos before searching for the truth first!” Suho who watched them let out an upset breath, in his heart he felt satisfied because Jaeha was scolded by his own in-laws because he had misunderstood.

Jaeha froze after hearing Hwaran's words, he did not know what to say now.

“Leon lived with his mother since childhood, but after that he lived with my husband Hansoo and took care of his own company in Amsterdam. Leon is happy because he has a younger sister he loves Sena very much, until finally Sena decided to come with Leon for fear that you will find her in Switzerland.” Jaeha remained silent, his eyes focused on seeing Sena and the woman's stomach, Sena is pregnant with her child? But since when?

“Sena needs you as her husband during her first pregnancy. She's got your flesh and blood Jaeha.”.

“Sena told Grandma that she was pregnant and everything when you were on vacation in Hallstatt, and that Sena was two months pregnant. Sena asked me not to tell you but I can't see her constantly tormented by missing you.”

Jaeha remembered how he had fat Sena, Sena said that he only had to eat a lot and be nutritious so that he could get pregnant quickly. Sena hid everything because she had planned this divorce and because Sena already knew about Helena's whereabouts. Jaeha felt stupid for not being aware about Sena's self-change.

“I want strawberry jam*.”

Jaeha could not help but believe in Hwaran, Hwaran his mother Sena where might lie. The feeling of great regret that came when he remembered himself signing the divorce letter four days ago, he was really sorry. He regretted not listening to Suho's explanation first, he was too stubborn.

“Meet her, explain everything to her. I beg you as his mother to meet him! I don't want my daughter to experience the same thing as me. I beg! He misses you so much, he needs you. Mera returns to tears as she looks at her divorce papers with Jaeha, when the divorce papers come into her hands Mera can't stop crying. This choice he chose, his unwillingness to divorce according to him is something selfish and very contrary to what he did. What he does is what he gets, Jaeha agrees to divorce him. It's all over. There was no connection whatsoever, the only intermediary between her and Jaeha was the baby she was holding now.

“It's me!” Mera invites Leon to come in,

As soon as he saw Mera sobbing Leon knew that Mera had just cried, since they had legally divorced Leon always found Mera crying. The sadness that his sister was covering up couldn't fool Leon.

“You had dinner outside?” Leon can't do much, he can only do small things to comfort Mera.

“Eat outside? Sure was! I change clothes first.”

Leon took Mera to a restaurant serving typical Amsterdam and Dutch food, it was the restaurant they always visited. Even Leon and Mera were already familiar with the owner of the restaurant.

“Eat! I know your mood will wear if you eat something.”

“I definitely look greedy!”

“For now it is only natural that you are greedy,” Leon said with a smile

Mera manyantau Frikandel voraciously, her eyes sparkling as soon as the chopped piece of meat entered her mouth, seeing Mera cheerful as before made Leon feel relieved. He feels his duty as a brother has been run well.

“I pick up the phone first.” Mera nodded letting Leon go.

Mera saw the rain falling outside the window, entering autumn made the air grow colder. Autumn reminds her of when she went on her honeymoon to Japan, looking for a culinary evening in Dotonbori, going to the Momiji Festival, Jaeha who sang her a song, even their first night Mera can remember it clearly, in the memory Mera smiled, but before long she began to feel bad. Her tears began to accumulate in the eye peluk, Mera immediately rubbed it so as not to fall.

When his gaze came back out Mera immediately fell silent to see the person who was now standing outside who was also staring at him, he did not expect that he would be found easily here.

Both of his eyes followed the direction of the person's movements until they finally faced each other.

“Can I sit?” Minho asked, Mera nodded allowing Minho to sit down. They sit facing each other

“You don't seem happy to meet me Sena,” Minho is aware of Sena's face that doesn't smile at all at her.

“I Mera, Kim Mera, not Sena!”

“But to me you are Sena you keep Sena until anytime.” Mera did not look at Minho, she was afraid that she would cry as soon as her eyes saw the man's face. Crying why Minho did all the things that made him separate from Jaeha, but he could not exhaust Minho completely. He just still could not believe what Minho had done to him.

“How can you find me here?”

“I had a hard time finding you, but I finally found you here. As soon as I found out you were in Amsterdam I left immediately because I wanted to see you.”

“I hope only you can find me.”

“How are you? You're okay, right?” It is difficult for Minho to return to the awkward situation he is in now, he wants to get back close to Sena but Minho has made many changes to Sena.

“I'm fine.” Mera is still not ready to meet Minho, why does fate have to bring them back together?

Leon comes back after talking long enough with the company people, he is quite surprised to see Minho is with Mera. Leon had wanted to leave them both but his presence was first caught by Mera making Leon finally approach them.

Leon could see Minho's shocked look at him, “You... Leon Kim isn't?”

“How are you doing Hyung? Long time no see.” Leon smiled and greeted Minho. Mera herself is shocked that Leon knows Minho, but Mera hides the shock and listens more to their conversation.

Minho looked at Sena and Leon alternately, “You guys... what are you guys?”

Leon sat back in his chair, he shook his head to refute Minho's allegations. “How can I have a love affair with my own sister.”

“Adik?” Minho asked in surprise, not knowing what facts he would find in his meeting this time.

“Mera is my sister, more precisely my step sister. I am the son of Kim Hansoo's first wife. So most likely now we are tied by the sibling rope Hyung.”

Leon, his underclassman in college is Sena's half-brother which means his sister too? Minho did not expect that he would get any unexpected surprises today. Although Leon's memeang had no blood relation to him, but now Leon is Sena's older brother.

“Ak-I didn't expect about this. I thought you guys..”

“No, others might think that we are a couple let alone Mera is pregnant. Funny also actually.” Mera quickly hits Leon's arm, she has asked Leon not to tell but his mouth is instead a bucket!

Again Minho was surprised to hear Leon's words about Sena, Minho did not know Sena was pregnant but Minho clearly knew whose flesh and blood it was. That fact makes the guilt of Minho suddenly becomes more, he can know what it would be like if the child was born later to live without his father. He remembered how he always asked where his father was to his mother.

Minho could see Sena pretending well in front of everyone, he knew Sena well. Sena hid her wounds and sadness since she knew Jaeha was already married to Helena, she also knew Sena was actually reluctant to divorce Jaeha especially with her current condition. He's selfish, he's stubborn! The forbidden thing that he should not do instead he did because of his selfishness.

Minho did not have to ask Sena to come back to him or not, Sena who did not speak rejected him even Minho already knew that he must be rejected. Sena would never come back to him if it was like this.

Jaeha stared at a scrap of paper with the address of Sena's residence in Amsterdam given by Hwaran before leaving. He also glanced at the plane ticket he had booked for his departure tomorrow night, in fact he could leave right now on his private plane but he took a little longer to prepare his heart.

The ringing of his cell phone made him gasp, he saw an unknown number coming in contact with him.

“Halo!”

“Jaeha.”

Jaeha knew who the owner of this voice was, whether there was a wind what the minho contacted him.

“What's up?”

“I want to apologize to you, I want you to go see Sena in Amsterdam she needs you. I know I'm stubborn and selfish, I've gone too far using Helena as a pawn to get you separated. I am truly sinful for using the weaknesses of others.”

Jaeha did not reply, he wanted to listen first to all of Minho's explanations even though his emotions were slowly starting to rise.

“I also brought Helena to Korea, I gave her hope to be back with you.”

“I already know that, I just don't want that business to be long. Did you realize that your actions weren't right after you saw everything now?”

“I know I'm greedy, I want something I shouldn't have. Again I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I beg you to meet Sena!”

“I also realized it was partly my fault because I wasn't honest earlier on Sena. I'll teach you a lesson if we meet later.”

“I'll be waiting for you here. I've met him and he really needs you.”

Jaeha is actually upset when Minho says that he is in Amsterdam, his desire to be the first to meet with Sena has been dashed by Minho. It's a childish excuse but that's the feeling now.

But most importantly he wants to make amends, Jaeha again hopes that Sena will receive him back and they can live together as before. Any punishment he would receive, provided Sena wanted to see him.
