Chapter 108: The Prize

One month later

The kids have just entered the winter break. They will be back in early February. Two more days of Christmas are coming, Megan with Dexter and their two children are busy making Christmas cakes since last afternoon. Dexter also put his company's employees aside for one week, so that his employees can also enjoy the Christmas holidays with their families.

"I want to buy Christmas gifts for grandma and grandpa. Can I open my savings? I think that's enough to buy it" Archer said. Dexter has used his two children to save since they were 4 years old.

"Of course, son, later if the money is still less mommy will add to it," said Megan peeked Archer.

"Thank you mom, mommy's the best" Archer hugged Megan's neck and kissed Megan's cheek.

"I, too, must be full of my savings. I've never opened it, mom," Amber said enthusiastically.

"Okay. tomorrow we go to the mall to buy Christmas gifts. And don't forget to ask for a lot of Christmas gifts from the daddy for us, it's dad." said Megan staring at Dexter who was shaking the cake dough to make cup cake with a mixer.

"Anything for you." Dexter smiled back at his beloved wife and child.

"We love daddy.." said the three compactly.

"Daddy loves you too, too" Dexter replied, turning off the mixer, then bringing the cake dough to the table. I forgot to kiss my wife and two kids. He is very happy to have a son and wife like Megan. A very wonderful woman for Dexter who truly loved her and her children. She did not choose Megan as the wife and mother of her children.

When Christmas Eve arrives, Dexter and his little family gather in the living room. They chose to sit on a thick fur carpet near the fireplace to warm themselves. Accompanied by their homemade Christmas cake with milk as their drink. A warm and harmonious family. Like Dexter's hope.

The twins gave Megan Dexter a gift of the same pair of shirts. The two boys also bought for them. Megan and Dexter don't know if their two kids are buying Christmas presents for them. The two boys ask Dorothy for help one week before Christmas. Amber and Archer plan to wear them together during a visit to their grandma and grandpa home.

"Mommy has a gift for you" Megan said.

"Oh yeah.. What is mom?" archer asked impatiently.

"What is this, baby?" dexter asked open the blue ribbon. Archer and Amber sat next to Dexter impatient to see him.

"You'll see" said Megan, staring at Dexter's hand, which opened the small box.

"Honey.." said Dexter gaping, surprised to see a flat object in the box. Test pack with line two. Dexter looked at Meganse if he wanted to be sure. Megan then nodded.

"Yess." said Dexter happily, rising from his seat.

"Dad... is that what?" ask Amber to stand up. He was confused as to why his daddy was so happy after seeing that thing.

"You'll have a little sister." Dexter said, leaving Amber and Archer shocked and cheering.

Megan was very happy to see the three people in front of her.

"Thank you dear. It's an amazing gift" Dexter kissed Megan's lips repeatedly and hugged her. Archer and Amber also hug Megan.

"When you do the test, baby" asked Dexter, still hugging Megan.

"Three weeks ago, I was planning on telling you guys at Christmas as my Christmas present" Megan said, embracing Archer and Amber.

"Have you been to the doctor?" ask Dexter. Megan nodded.

"Our baby is 6 weeks old" Megan replied.

"It turns out the daddy's child is 6 weeks old yes, healthy in the stomach mommy ya baby." said Dexter rubbed Megan's stomach.

"When is mommy's belly big like Freya's aunty's stomach?" tanya Amber held Megan's stomach.

"Maybe another 2 months will look dear." concluded Megan rubbed long hair Amber.

"I can't wait for him mom" Archer said.

They then went through a cold night by sharing the story until they finally slept because they were sleepy.
