Chapter 71: Will You Marry Me
After the ceremony was over, all the invitations followed the wedding reception of Jack and Vivian held on the beach in Santa Monica. The beach was decorated as beautifully as possible making all who saw it stare in amazement.
Soon the bride will be doing a flower bucket throwing session. It is said, who gets the wedding flower bucket soon will follow to get married.
The MCs began to host the event, several men and women who looked gathered waiting for the bride to throw her flower bucket.
Jack and Vivian turned their backs to the guests, preparing to throw the flower bucket.
After the count of the three brides then throw the flower bucket. Guests who are single or who already have a lover scramble to catch the bucket. Erick and Dexter.
Aron, the twins and Aurora cousins Amber and Archer who were curious about the crowd in front of them ran up to the crowd.
"Hey. Where are you going" said Beatrix.
"Aunty, isn't there a game?" ask Aron.
"Gosh, you're so funny" Beatrix laughed.
"But it's not a game for kids, we'll see what happens from here" Beatrix said.
"Then why aunty didn't come. He said it wasn't a game for kids" Archer asked.
Dexter who was behind had already run forward at the first count. And right at the count of three the bride and groom throw a bucket and Dexter gets it. The man ran to Megan's seat, all eyes on them.
Dexter bent one leg, kneeling in front of Megan.
"Will you marry me?" dexter took the ring box out of his pocket. Megan was silent for a moment, blinking her eyes many times as if she could not believe what had happened. The shouting invitations made Megan sober, looked at Dexter deeply and then nodded her head. Smiling with Dexter's lips, the man then pinned the diamond ring in his hand to Megan's ring finger.
"Thank you dear.." Dexter kissed Megan's lips. The two men's hands were coiled around Megan's waist and lifting her lover's body took her around with a happy laugh. Everyone who was there clapped. Except one guy. The man sitting with his wife was not far from Megan's seat. That man is Julian.
Amber and Archer run over to Megan and Dexter. They're so happy that Megan and her Daddy are getting married.
"Mommy.. daddy.." they said. Dexter then takes Megan down and the four embrace.
"Grabbbbh..." Erick suddenly picked up the flower bucket Megan had in hand.
"Hey.I want to get married too. Jack is married and you may be getting married soon. I don't want to miss. It's good for you two. I don't want to lose to my two male cousins" Erick said, making them laugh. Erick looks to find the whereabouts of his parents.
"Mom. dad. I'm going to propose to your daughter-in-law right now" Erick said strongly. The man then walked over to Beatrix. The woman seemed to gulp, she became the subject of everyone's attention.
Erick knelt down, "Beatrix, I know that you're still angry about what happened yesterday. I really don't have a relationship with them anymore. And I never lied to you about my feelings. I really love you. Just you, nothing else. I promise to make you my only woman, my wife and the mother of our children" Erick said.
