Chapter 13: New project
After lunch, Megan and Beatrix head to their respective workrooms.
"Ah yes, I have to go to the production section first to record the raw materials that have been used up," muttered Megan shut the door of her study. Walk her feet to the elevator. But he accidentally sees Julian walking with Dexter and Addison.
"Akh damn it. Why is Julian here," murmured Megan to see her study which was quite far from the elevator. If he had to go into his room he would never have had time. Especially waiting for the elevator that is still on the 15th floor. Finally Megan chose to go into a room to her right.
"Hopefully Julian didn't see me just now," Megan's mind peeked out from behind the door. The three men walked closer to Megan's position.
"Oh no, why does it feel like they want to go into this room," Megan muttered in fear. And sure enough, the three men entered the room. Luckily Megan was already hiding under the table.
"I want to tell you about the new project plan" Julian said.
"What project?" asked Dexter to sit in his big chair. Megan under the table was shocked when Dexter sat in his chair, and the worst of all, Megan's face was right in front of Dexter's.
"God..help me.." Megan's inner glared. His body felt hot and his face flushed. If only he had the technique of eliminating himself, it was certain that he would soon disappear from there.
Dexter further advances his chair until his own gets closer to Megan's face. Spontaneous made Megan squeal, fortunately she immediately closed her mouth.
"I'm planning on making a new movie. The story is based on a novel by a famous writer. I'm interested and sure we'll make a big profit. The movie will definitely sell. The author has also agreed that the story is packaged into a film" said Julian who is a businessman and also a film producer. Julian and his two friends, Dexter and Erick, founded their own production house and streaming service a few years ago.
"I'm going to send you a file detailing the cost that Erick has made," Julian said, opening his expensive phone and immediately sending the file.
Dexter lifted one of his legs and crossed it. Almost hit Megan's face that was not moving freely under the table.
"How's it?" ask Julian.
"Are you going to be the producer?" ask Dexter.
"No, this time I'm the executive producer just like you. I'm busy and I have important things to do. Erick will be producing with the other producers" Julian said.
"Alright, I agree." Dexter concluded as the owner of the most shares in the production house they formed.
"Well, I'll inform Erick immediately that he's coordinating with all the crew teams involved" Julian said.
"I go first, I want to see my girlfriend and apologize to her. Looks like he works here. I went to look for him first" said Julian rising from his chair.
"What did you mean last night's woman?" ask Dexter. Julian nodded.
"I can't believe how you've been hiding your lover from me and Erick all this time" Dexter said, staring at the woman-crazed man in front of him who had suddenly changed over the past 6 months. It was because of a woman. He and Erick only found out after Julian told them about the problem.
"He's very special." Julian said.
"If she's special why can you impregnate another woman? just tell me yours is not gonna stand it because your little girl can't give it to you" Dexter continued laughing.
"She's not a silly girl" Julian said, leaving.
