The Extra Part 7
A few days later.
Three days are already Winter's on his way to LA. The woman used the train to save costs. His mind was filled with the same dream for three days in a row. In his dream, he returns to LA a few years later to meet Julian but unfortunately, the man has been gone for all eternity.
From that moment on, his feelings were not calm. Not focused on doing his job. Trying to deny that feeling, Winter thought her feelings of anxiety were common because they had lived together. But unfortunately, it seems his feelings cannot be compromised. Feelings of anxiety always approach her plus Vivian's story. Bart and Mila advise him to go see Julian. The couple certainly already know the story of Julian and Winter's household.
Two days after her departure from the hospital, Winter meets Bart and Mila while they are at the train station about to return to Canada. They chatted for a long time until the couple took Winter to their country and stayed with them because Winter did not know where to go at the time.
Upon arrival in LA, Winter orders a taxi. Two years after his departure it seems that not much has changed from the city. Half an hour's drive from the station, he now arrived in front of the gate of the large mansion. It was night, Winter tightened his coat, the snow falling more and more on his body.
Winter sighed as reluctance approached her. He is in a dilemma whether he will enter or undo his intentions. Winter is nervous, considering this is their first meeting in two years. Linger there too will only make his body more cold. Finally Winter pressed the doorbell of Julian's mansion. A security guard opened the gate, perhaps not recognizing the woman in front of him because Winter was wearing a hat and her scarf covered part of her face.
"Who are you looking for Miss?" the security guard looked at Winter as if he knew her.
"Mrs.. sa. I'm not dreaming, am I?" the security guard blinked his eyes many times. Winter shook his head to convince the security guard.
"Thank God the lady has come home. Mr. Julian must be happy" said the happy security guard. He then invites Winter into the house. The waiter who saw Winter's arrival was shocked. The waiter then meets Ana, Julian's mother. Winter observed the mansion where she lived 2 years ago. Nothing has changed. All the positions of the objects there remain in the same position. He asked Julian to redecorate the mansion and Julian agreed.
"Mrs please come in, Ms. Ana is also here" the security guard said.
A middle-aged woman came down the stairs with quick footsteps as if impatient to ascertain what she had just heard from the maid.
"Winter.." said Ana did not expect that the woman she missed was currently at the door of the house. Winter turned to the voice that called his name. The woman he had looked like his own mother and treated her like his real daughter. Without realizing it both eyes glazed over.
Ana walks over to her daughter-in-law and hugs her, "son. He feels guilty for being selfish, marrying Winter and Julian without thinking about their feelings. All of that was only because of his wish that his son wanted to get married soon and have children. Ana is lonely, her husband has long died since Julian was still in High School. She has no family because Ana is like Winter who is a nursing home child. He wanted his son-in-law and granddaughter to accompany him in his old age. Julian had no time with her since Julian was busy taking care of her husband's legacy company.
