Chapter 111: Julian's Apology
Dorothy approached Megan and Dexter who had just arrived at the door.
"Sir, ma'am, Mr. Julian is at home" Dorothy said.
"Why did you let him in?" dexter's question made Dorothy furrow her brows. Not understanding the words of his master. Julian had visited several times before. And isn't Julian also his master's friend and co-worker.
"Ah forget it.." said Dexter looking at Dorothy's confused face. The woman did not know what had happened before. Dexter doesn't give orders for them to expel Julian if he comes to his house.
"Why did Julian come here?" ask Megan. Ever since Megan was almost harassed in her apartment, Julian never showed up again. Even for the next month his family always look for him because no one knows his whereabouts.
"I don't know honey, if until he came here only to take you from me at that time I did not hesitate to finish him," Dexter said firmly. The two entered the house and saw Julian sitting on the couch behind them.
"Julian.." call Megan. The man then twisted his thin-looking body with thick eye bags adorning his handsome face.
"Megan.." muttered Julian up from the sofa, walking up to Megan. Spontane makes Megan retreat, perhaps because Megan is suddenly imagined by the events in her apartment.
Julian stopped his steps, aware of Megan's reaction. "I'm sorry, you must still be traumatized." Julian said softly.
"I came here just to apologize to you" Julian said, ignoring Dexter's stern gaze.
"I'm sorry if I just came today to apologize to you. I locked myself away for a month. And lately I've been looking for the whereabouts of winter" he continued.
"I'm ready to accept any punishment from you, as long as you forgive me Megan" Julian said with a contrite face. Winter has also punished herself by leaving her. Their baby died because of his mistake. There was a misunderstanding between them. Julian regretted not hearing the explanation from his mother at the time and locked himself away for a month from his friends and family.
Megan saw Julian's sad face and sincere apology, "Julian, I've forgiven you" Megan replied. Now he seems more interested in hearing Julian's explanation about him looking for Winter.
"My wife has forgiven you, so please go home" Dexter said with a flat face.
"Hubby, wait a minute. I still want to ask Julian something" Megan stared at Dexter, who looked like he was furrowing both eyebrows.
"Julian.. What happened to Winter? did Winter run away?" megan sat on the couch. He also invited Julian to sit on the sofa.
"It's all because of my mistake." Julian concluded.
"I'm a bad husband and father ..." Julian started to tear up. He told Megan everything. From the beginning she hears her mother talking to her close friend about her and winter working together to make Winter Julian's wife. Her mother offered Winter a large sum of money to get her to marry Julian. Winter and her mother arranged everything that night until Julian and Winter slept together. He was furious at the time, not expecting his mother and Winter to trap him into their trap.
"I went to see Winter and was rude to her, hurt her and just left without hearing her explanation" Julian said.
