Chapter 72: Erick's Happiness
"So will you marry me" said Erick giving a flower bucket to Beatrix. The woman was locked in her place. Doesn't know if he should accept it? but Beatrix still doubted the man. Beatrix seemed to be in a dilemma with her choice.
Erick waited long enough for an answer from the woman. Fear dominated him. He is not sure if Beatrix will accept him after the problems that occurred between the two a week ago.
"It seems that I don't deserve you" Erick gave up and stood up to Beatrix.
"Mom. I failed to get it" said Erick disappointed, enduring the pain in his chest. Erick paused, away from Beatrix who was staring at Erick's back.
"Erick.." call Beatrix softly, make the man's steps stop. Erick looked at Beatrix.
"A. I. I want to" said Beatrix. He decided to accept it. Beatrix will give Erick one more chance. I hope this choice is not wrong.
"You're serious" Erick said in disbelief. Beatrix nodded. Erick ran tightly to the woman's body. How happy he is now.
"Thank you, thank you, baby." said Erick pecked Beatrix in the face and hugged her back. All the guests were happy and applauded.

Late in the afternoon, Dexter takes Megan home with the twins. They say goodbye to the bride and the Dexter family before they go home. Megan's family had gone home earlier than them.
"Alvin, get the car out. We'll be home soon" Dexter said from behind his phone.
"Good boss," Alvin replied.
Shortly after, Alvin got out of the parking lot and drove to where his boss was waiting.
Alvin got out of the car to open the car door for his employer. Megan came in first and was followed by children.
"Mom.. Amber was sleepy" said Amber, rubbing her red eyes. Amber sat on Megan's lap. Hugged the woman and leaned her head against Megan's chest.
"It looks like Amber is exhausted" Dexter said, hearing her daughter sleep with a soft snore.
"One day they're active once Dex. There was no break playing with the other children" Megan slapped Amber on the head.
"Archer.. aren't you sleepy too?" ask Megan. Archer then shook his head, leaning against the car seat.
"Dex.. You know what? I didn't think that Beatrix and Vivian were related to a brother. It feels like a dream," said Megan still can't believe that she and her two best friends are united with a partner who turns out to be one family.
"It looks like you guys are inseparable" Dexter said. Megan nodded.
The journey to Dexter's house almost took an hour. And during the trip they chatted lightly to relieve boredom in the streets until it did not feel like it was night, they finally arrived at the gate of Dexter's house. A security guard opened the gate.
"Finally up, too," concluded Megan impatient to clean up and sleep soundly.
Megan and Dexter carry the sleeping twins into the house.
"I'm sorry, sir, I wanted to let you know that Mrs Anastasia came here to see the children" Dorothy told her employer who had just arrived.
"Where is that woman?" ask Dexter.
"The lady is home because we told her that the master and the children are attending Mr. Jack's wedding" Dorothy said. Dexter then nodded and led Megan to their room.
"Aunt Dorothy, please get our things in the car" Megan said.
Upon arrival in Amber's room, Megan put the boy to bed on her soft mattress. Fortunately Megan brought their change of clothes because she knew that the children would play on the beach, so there was no need to wake the children to change their baths and change their clothes.
