"What is his relationship with me, sir? why not just bring a secretary if you want to meet here," said Megan.
"I fired my secretary, so I took you for a while before I got a new secretary" Dexter said.
"I changed my mind, for the time being I recruited you to be my secretary" Dexter continued, looking at Megan in surprise.
"No.no. I can't sir. I don't have the ability in that area" Megan refused. Dexter chuckles at Megan's words.
"Why are you laughing?" ask Megan.
"Are you joking Miss Megan Parker" Dexter said, shaking his head at the woman's full name.
"Don't lie to me, Megan, I know that you were a secretary at your former workplace" Dexter said, reading Megan's CV earlier. Megan felt bad for not being able to lie.
"Tomorrow morning I've seen you in front of my room" Dexter ordered.
"I'll give you 3 times the salary if your job is satisfactory" Dexter said, making Megan's eyes instantly sparkle.
"Geez, if you know this, I don't have to lie" Megan said.
"Well sir," Megan replied with her resigned face but in her heart she was of course pleased. He does not want to be considered a matre by Dexter.
From a distance, Dexter can see the arrival of his two friends.
"Kemari.. sat next to me," Dexter said, making Megan surprised.
"I'm here, sir" said Megan.
"Don't argue with me Megan, this is an order" Dexter said flatly, eventually sitting next to the man.
"Hey dude, sorry we're a little late" Erick told Dexter's friend.
"You mean Megan your ex-boyfriend" Erick said, as he guessed. Julian was silent, that means right.
"Have you guys been here a long time" Erick concluded neutralizing the atmosphere.
"Since 5 days ago," Dexter replied with his flat face making Erick laugh, his friend was indeed the type of person who greatly appreciated time.
"Oh. hi meet me Erick Rivers," said Erick reached out his hand.
"Megan," Megan smiled back at Erick's hand.
"Why is Megan with you Dex?" ask Julian. Megan is also not very familiar with Dexter.
"Megan is my secretary, so it's natural that she's coming with me at a meeting with a client instead" Dexter replied.
Two waiters delivered food for them, because Dexter had already booked 1 table for them.
"Good fun ladies and gentlemen" said the waiter and left.
Julian cut his steak into pieces. Pull up Megan's plate and give her a cut-up steak. A truly romantic guy.
"Thank you Julian" said Megan. Actually he felt bad when Julian behaved like that, considering the two had broken up. If only it was still dating maybe Megan would be happy.
Two hours passed, Megan was tired of hearing the three men discuss the issue of their project for their new filmmaking. Since then, he has been just a listener. Dexter even forbade him to record the key points of their meeting.
"You see, trying to get me brought here" Megan was upset. He got tired of playing his phone. Megan held her head with one hand on the table. I looked at Dexter who was talking.
"Handsome.." Megan's inner smile.
"Ahh.. shit, why do I have to look at this pervert anyway.." his mind cursed to realize his actions.
