Chapter 49: Dexter's House
Shortly after, they arrive in front of the Archer and Amber schools. Both of them got off the car. A car drove fast and almost hit Megan's body if Dexter wasn't keen to pull her and carry her into his arms. The car should reduce the speed of driving when passing the school. It looks like the car owner did not see any traffic signs that were there.
Spontaneously frightened Megan returned Dexter's embrace. Thankfully, Dexter was there. Otherwise, he might have been lying on the street by now.
"Oh... sh.it.does he have no eyes?" dexter snarled furiously.
"Darling you're okay" Dexter said in a worried voice that shrank Megan's head. He even called Megan with the word dear. Megan then nodded. The woman is feeling better now.
"Mommy...." Amber and Archer run over to Megan and Archer. Megan took off her arms from Dexter.
"Hi dear.." said Megan lowered her head and hugged the two children.
"Mommy came to pick us up?" ask Amber. Megan then nodded.
"Yeay.." timpal Archer pleased.
"Hey.. daddy is here too, since you've only talked to mommy,"
"Hahaha. hi dad.." said Amber hugging Dexter.
"Well, let's go home" Dexter said.
Megan seemed to be looking for someone there, since she had not seen him, "dear, did Aron not go to school today?" ask Megan.
"Aron school mom, he was picked up by his daddy," concluded Amber. I don't think they've been in school for nearly 4 months.
"Okay, let's go home." said Megan.
Amber and Archer are in the back seat followed by Megan.
"Mommy sits in front, daddy has no friends in front" said Amber and was immediately followed by Megan. Dexter drove the car.
"Yes, baby.. What's wrong?" megan asked to shift her body so she could see Archer. The boy appears to pull something out of his bag and gives Megan a piece of paper.
"What's this?" megan asked to see that the paper contained a colorful circle. Above each circle are the names of the days.
"Miss Celine gave it to us. Amber also has a mom" said Amber.
"Miss says we have to wear clothes to school in the color of the paper, mom" Archer said.
"really?"
"She's mom, so we can remember the names of the colors Miss Celine said. Miss said tomorrow we were wearing yellow. Miss says tomorrow it's yellow Tuesday" said Amber. Megan looked at the paper in her hand and it was true that the color of the circle was yellow.
"Bah... Miss you guys are creative, yes" said Megan.
It didn't feel like they had arrived in front of the carload of Dexter's house. A security guard opened the gate and saluted Dexter. The distance from the gate to Dexter's house is quite far, the front yard of his house is filled with green grass and fountains.
They get out of the car, Megan is amazed to see the very spacious and large Deluxe Dexter.
"It turns out the rich man's house is like this" Megan said.
"Come on mom." take Amber to Megan's hand.
"Eh. yes, dear," Megan replied. They walked to the main door of Dexter's house. A few servants greeted their arrival. Megan saw Dorothy there too.
"Good day, ladies and gentlemen," said the waiter. Dexter nodded.
Again Megan was amazed to see the contents of Dexter's house.
"Mom, come with Amber to pick out a dress for tomorrow" Amber pleases to pull Megan's hand. The woman was just following Amber.
