Chapter 113: Anastasia Changed
In the afternoon Megan and Dexter go pick up Archer and Amber for school.
"Aron hasn't been picked up yet?" megan asked as she saw Aron sitting with the twins in the school garden chair.
"Not aunty. Maybe mommy is on her way here" Aron said.
"You're coming to our house, yeah." take Megan.
"But what if mommy doesn't see me here. Mommy must be worried later," said Aron.
"Wait, let's aunty call your mommy first," said Megan took her phone and contacted Freya.
"Hello sister-in-law. Is brother on his way to Aron's school? I want to take Aron to our house" Megan said.
"God.. Meg, Aron's home. I'm still at home. Sienna was so fussy today, that I forgot it was time to pick up Aron. It just so happens that mommy and daddy are going to the wedding of mommy's friend's child," said Freya just realized that it is noon now.
"Then take care of Sienna. Aron will be with us" Megan said.
"Thank you Meg, I'll tell you your brother picked up Aron later in the afternoon" Freya replied.
"All right, sister, I hung up the phone" Megan said, turning off her phone.
Megan put her phone in the bag, "let's go home" Megan asked. Then they walked to the car.
On arrival at home they meet Anastasia. This is the first time the woman has come back after almost 4 months.
"Mummy.." call Amber and Archer who haven't seen Anastasia in a long time.
"The mummy boys." Anastasia approached the two children and hugged them.
"Mummy misses you." said Anastasia kissing the two boys' eyebrows.
"Lately, mummies travel a lot because of work" Anastasia replied.
"Come, mummy's got a lot of food, "take Anastasia to the couch. The two boys followed him.
"Aunty.. is she Archer and Amber's birth mother?" tanya Aron looked up, looking at Megan.
"Right boy.." Megan rubbed Aron's head.
"They look happy" Megan told Dexter.
"I hope he doesn't plan to hurt you or the kids" Dexter said. Were it not for Megan allowing him to come to their house, Dexter would not have wanted to. One day ago, Anastasia asked permission to meet her children at Dexter's house. It's not that Dexter won't, it's just that he's afraid Anastasia is doing something to Megan and the twins.
One month ago, Anastasia contacted Megan and apologized for her poor treatment of Megan. Megan finally forgives Anastasia. She hoped that the woman was serious about her words.
"Dex, Megan come here. Don't you want to taste it. Take it easy, the food is hygenic really," concluded Anastasia. The woman's appearance was not as usual that was wearing luxury items. This time it looks simpler. Megan invites Aron and Dexter to join them.
"Amber, Archer don't eat first" Dexter said, making the twins stop his hand who was about to take food that Anastasia brought.
"Why dad?" ask Archer.
Anastasia who knew what Dexter meant stood up, "Dex. This time I just wanted to see the kids. I'm not gonna hurt anyone. I know you must think I put something in this meal. If you don't believe me, look, I'll eat it" Anastasia said, tasting the food she brought. Archer and Amber stared in confusion at her parents.
"That's hubby. I believe him" whispered Megan rubbing Dexter's arm.
"I'm not hungry, you eat." Dexter kissed Megan's lips and went to the stairs.
Megan let out a sigh, clearly in the car the man said he was hungry.
"Your uncle is weird. Come on boy." said Megan invites Aron to join Anastasia and the twins.
