Chapter 83: Dexter's Threat
In the middle of the night, Archer woke up feeling his throat was dry. Tonight he and his sister slept with Anastasia.
Archer saw a glass teapot on an empty nightstand. "Mum." call Archer wiggle Anastasia's arm.
Twice Archer called out to him, the woman finally opened her eyes with a heavy heart.
"What's wrong?" anastasia asked hoarsely closing her eyes back. He's too sleepy.
"Archer is thirsty" said Archer.
"You can take it yourself on the nightstand" said Anastasia.
"The water is running out mom" said Archer. .
"Why don't you take yourself to the kitchen. You're a big Archer" Anastasia said, turning her back on Archer's body. The boy finally decided to go to the kitchen alone. He came out of the room and saw the lighting in the big house was quite dim. Archer was scared. He decided to go to Dexter's room.
"Tok.. tok. dad.. mom.." said Archer knocking on the door. He tried to swing the doorknob up and down. Can't do. Looks like it's locked from the inside. Archer knocked on the door again and called Megan and Dexter.
Megan who was sleeping soundly in Dexter's arms, faintly heard someone calling her. And realize that voice belongs to Archer. Megan took her arms off Dexter and turned on the room light, put on her kimono and got off the bed. Walk her feet towards the door.
"Squealing.." the door opened.
"Mom.." said Archer.
"Darling. Why do you get up at this hour" Megan said, bringing Archer into the room. Dexter also woke up. Perhaps it was because the lighting of the room that was too bright made the man wake up and lean on the head of the bed.
"Archer's thirsty mom" said the boy.
"Well, isn't there water in your room?" megan asked to pour water into the glass and give it to Archer. The boy immediately gulped it down to the toilet. Give Megan her empty glass.
"Why didn't you tell mummy to take it?" ask Dexter.
"Archer has woken up mummy. But the mummy told Archer to take it himself into the kitchen. Archer wants to go to the kitchen but is scared because the house is dark" Archer said.
"Archer sleeps here, mom," said Archer, rising to the top of the bed. Megan turned off the lights and went up to the bed. The boy hugged Megan's body.
"Good night is mommy's handsome son" said Megan, who kissed Archer's head and then rubbed the boy's back up and down. Then they went back to sleep.

In the morning Megan and Dexter get ready to take the kids to school. The summer vacation was over a few days ago.
"Let's get in the car" Megan said.
"Every mom" said Archer to pick up his school bag.
"Mummy doesn't work?" asked Amber to Anastasia.
"Working baby. This mummy also wants to go home" said Anastasia.
Megan then helped the two boys into the car.
"I'm warning you, don't even threaten Megan behind my back. I did good to you only because of the children. Don't let my patience run out. I will destroy you and your family in an instant" Dexter said with great emphasis on leaving Anastasia wide-eyed. Dexter had several times seen Anastasia sending Megan a message. Fortunately, her boyfriend did not touch her too much. But if left for longer, Anastasia could have harmed Megan.
"One more time, from tomorrow you can meet anytime with the kids but not to stay at my house" Dexter said, leaving Anastasia glued to her place.
