Chapter 9: The wrong elevator
"Huh..." Megan breathed out her breath. Relieved that the interview was finally over. Megan was a little nervous because the HRD who interviewed her was young and handsome. And the good news is, Megan was immediately accepted for work. From tomorrow he will work at Hugo's Corp.
"I'd better go home and find an apartment nearby" Megan murmured.
"Eitss..wait a minute, I will tell Beatrix that I have been accepted as the supervisor (Supervisor) in the production section and we will work in the same place from tomorrow," megan said she took her phone and sent a message to Beatrix, who is a personnel manager at Hugo's Corp.
In the lobby, Megan sees Julian walking toward the entrance of the company.
"Gosh, why is Julian here," Megan muttered glancing at her left and right sides in search of a hiding place.
"Megan.." call Julian step quickly to Megan.
"Akh shit, he saw me. I have to go" murmured Megan running towards the elevator.
"Geez, the elevator is still on the 7th floor" Megan said, looking back to see Julian. Megan walked to the other elevator and unfortunately it was full.
Megan saw a man enter the other elevator, of course Megan did not waste the opportunity. He ran quickly and got into the elevator. He then regained his breath. Unaware that there was a man staring at him flat. It looks like Megan got the elevator wrong.
"Hopefully Julian didn't follow me," Megan muttered glancing at the man beside her. Megan innocently displayed her friendly smile at the man, but there was no reply from the man. Shit, he's embarrassed now.
"Weird, why since no one had climbed into this elevator, Megan's mind furrowed both eyebrows. The elevator rang and opened. The man then went out ahead of Megan.
"It's very flat with his expression" Megan said after exiting the elevator. A few employees who passed by looked at Megan with questionable faces. Of course Megan was uncomfortable with the employee's gaze, what was wrong with her until she was stared at like that.
"Well, Dexter who?" inner Megan.
"No," Megan replied. Right no? she's not Dexter's girlfriend. Just know no.
"Why did you use the same elevator?" ask the employee again. Now Megan knows who Dexter meant this woman in front of her. Dexter is a flat guy who rides an elevator with him.
"What's really going on? can't I use the elevator in this office?" ask Megan.
"That's a special elevator for Mr. Dexter, not a public elevator" she pointed to the writing on the elevator wall. It turned out that the elevator he was riding was specifically for the CEO only.
"I. That means Dexter's CEO here" he murmured. He hasn't started working yet, he's already made trouble.
"Actually I just did an interview, because one thing, I was in a hurry and didn't realize that the elevator was specifically for the CEO" Megan said embarrassedly.
"May Mr. Dexter not tell Mr. Addison" she said. Megan was confused. Who else is Addison?
"Sir Addison is the CEO of this company. He has been in office for 3 years and Mr. Dexter is the owner of this company" she said.
"Oh yeah, I'm going first. I have to get to work."
Megan nodded, "thanks," he said.
