Chapter 17: Happy Drinking
"Meg, I'm going to the toilet for a second. I want to pick up the phone. It's very noisy here" Vivian said, going to the toilet.
drrr...
Megan sees a message coming into her phone and opens it.
⁇ ️ "Good to enjoy the drink (Dexter Hugo)"
Megan looked at Dexter as if in disbelief. The man smiled a mischievous grin but made his handsome impression increase.
"Ja.so this drink is from him," Inner Megan looked at the mocktail glass in front of her.
"Aishhh. Why should I deal with this guy. But wait a minute. Where did he get my phone number," murmured Megan to keep Dexter's drink out of front of him. He will not drink it. The message came in again, Megan opened it.
️ "Defusing it means insulting the company you work for. The drink was special to welcome employees who had just joined my company."
"Basic crazy" said Megan, looking at Dexter, who smiled at her. Megan took back the mocktail Dexter gave her and gulped it down the toilet, staring intently at the man.
⁇ ️ "Good girl,"
Megan keeps her phone in her bag because she doesn't want to see a message from the man. Thankfully Vivian is back.
"We'll just go home, Jack just told me he's back from New York and asked me to cook him a meal. I told him to order it but he didn't" Vivian said. Megan nodded. Actually, he's been wanting to go home since Dexter knew it was here. The man kept looking at her. Megan was feeling uncomfortable.
"We call Beatrix first" Megan said. The two search for Beatrix on the dance floor and call her.

Sunday afternoon, Megan took her niece Aron to play in the park. Afternoon like this, the park is visited by many parents who bring their children to play or just for sports.
Megan looked at Aron who could quickly make friends with the children in the park.
Aron ran over to Megan who was sitting on the iron chair in the garden.
"Can Aron share aunty-made potato sticks with Aron's friends?" tanya Aron looked at Megan with her puppy eyes.
"Of course, son, why not." said Megan took the food box from her tote bag.
"This.share it to your friends" said Megan giving her potato sticks to Aron.
"Thanks aunty's. You're the best" said Aron peeked at Megan's cheeks and ran to meet her new friends.
"Hi sis.." said two young children greeting Megan from her bicycle. Megan who saw the two little children smiling nodded.
"Have you forgotten about us?" ask the girl.
"I'm Archer and this is Amber. We're friends of Aron's. We met at the school gate" Archer said.
"Geez.iya.iya. My brother remembers it now. Who did you come here with?" ask Megan.
"Nanny" Archer replied.
"Where is your nanny?" megan asked as no one was near the two children.
"She stood there watching us, nanny was tired of chasing you on the bike from earlier, " amber replied pointing to their nanny sitting near the fountain not far from Megan's seat.
"We saw my brother sitting here so we came to see him" Archer said.
"Would you like to join Aron, he's there playing with the other kids" Megan said. Archer nodded and went to see Aron. Amber is not coming. She sat down on the chair with Megan.
"Why not go with Archer?" megan asked looking at Amber's face filled with sweat. Even his hair was wet.
"Amber tired brother, from earlier playing continues?" said Amber wiped the sweat off her forehead.
