Chapter 60: Uncle Erick's girlfriend
In the evening, Megan invites Archer and Amber to dinner outside. Megan took the two children to one of the cafes she frequented. They met Erick and Beatrix there and Julian sat down with Erick and Beatrix.
"Megan... What are you doing here?" ask Erick.
"I brought Archer and Amber to dinner here" Megan replied, but her gaze was fixed on Beatrix who was also looking at her with an awkward smile on her lips.
"Hi. uncle Erick and Julian." said Archer greeting Julian and Erick. Archer and Amber of course knew them because the two men had come to their house several times.
"Oh hi kids." replied Erick.
"Why can you be with these two men" Megan whispered to Beatrix.
"I just happened to come here and meet them" Beatrix replied.
"How about you guys just join us" Julian concluded, Megan shook her head.
"No need for Julian, we just sit at the other table" Megan replied.
"Why not here, mom, there's Erick and Julian's uncle here and that brother too" Amber said.
"It's Beatrix" said Erick.
"Hi brother Beatrix. I'm Amber and this is my brother Archer." said Amber with a sweet smile on his face.
"Hey beautiful and handsome, nice to meet you guys," replied Beatrix kindly.
"I. that's not true." said Beatrix staring annoyed at Erick who originally spoke. The man really frustrated Beatrix with his attitude. And since when did they become lovers.
"It looks like your aunty is still shy about admitting uncle as her lover," Erick chuckled.
"Come on kids. Tonight it's uncle who will treat you," Erick said, making the two children happy.
"Mom. let's sit here" said Amber patting the chair right next to Julian. Megan nodded and felt awkward sitting next to Julian. Especially after what happened two days ago in Dexter's office. Julian thinks Megan hasn't been close to Dexter's two children, but she's wrong. The two boys called her mommy. That means her efforts to get Megan will be even more difficult.
Shortly thereafter orders for Amber, Megan and Archer are delivered by a waitress.
"Let me cut it" Julian said, taking Megan's steak. Finally he let out his voice which had been silent since. Megan wanted to refuse but the man was already holding a knife and fork. It doesn't feel good if Megan refuses.

"Archer, Amber, brush your teeth and change your clothes first, don't go straight to sleep" Megan said as she watched the two children climb onto the bed. They just got home for dinner and Julian's the one who drove them home.
"Amber is already sleepy mom," said Amber.
"Do you want your teeth hollow and your cheeks swollen like yesterday," concluded Archer reminded Amber of the incidence of his teeth are sick because always eating sweet foods and lazy brushing his teeth. Amber cried one day and was taken to the dentist. Amber shook her head and came down from the bed.
"Mom.. carry.." said spoiled Amber.
