My Killer Lecturer's

My Killer Lecturer's
Release Custody

At midnight, we arrived at the hospital. After parking the car, Zein and I headed straight to the ICU waiting room to accompany Fatwa. Yes, even if it's just from outside the nursery.

Arriving in the waiting room, we immediately landed our buttocks on the chair, leaning back and closing our eyes. The distance of the journey we took, made the body really feel tired. It did not take long, the drowsiness began to attack us.

The next day, I woke up hearing a commotion from the next room. A nurse ran into Anneu's room. I'm lyrically a clock that's coiled around the wrist. The time indicator stops right at number 5. It seems like it is dawn too. I got out of my seat and walked out of the room. Whatever happened in Anneu's room, I don't want to ignore it anymore.

As usual, after dawn prayers, I headed to the cafeteria to buy breakfast. Arriving at the cafeteria, I saw Mr. Rahadi sitting sleepy at the table near the sitting rice shop I bought yesterday. I approached him immediately too. However, I previously bought two cups of black coffee as an encouragement this morning.

"The coffee, sir," I bargained with Mr. Rahadi.

The old man looked stunned to hear my voice. "Eh, Nak Resti," said Mr. Rahadi. "Thank you, son," he continued, taking the cup of coffee I offered.

"Can I sit here?" my many.

"Ah, of course I can. Isn't this a public place?" replied Mr. Rahadi.

I smiled, and then landed my butt in the chair facing Mr. Rahadi.

"Oh yes, just before I went to the mosque, I saw a nurse running to the room of the Father's daughter. Did something happen to Anneu?" my many.

Rahadi was seen sipping his black coffee. After that, he placed the coffee cup on the table. His breathing sounded heavy.

"So Anneu had shortness of breath, but it was handled by a nurse. And thank God, now his breathing has returned to normal," replied Mr. Rahadi.

"Alhamdulillah," my timpal also felt good after hearing the news of Anneu was fine. Yes, although still unconscious.

"What about the state of the Fatwa?" ask Mr. Rahadi.

"There has been no significant development, everything is still the same as yesterday" I replied.

"Same with Anneu. No change at all. The plan, you will move Anneu to Sumatra. There, the medical equipment is much more complete than here" said Mr Rahadi.

"Then Maira?" I asked who immediately remembered the fate of the little girl.

Rahadi sighed. "She will take care of Maira," replied Mr. Rahadi as if without burden.

"What if Ida minded taking care of Maira?" knock me.

Mr. Rahadi looked quite surprised to hear my speech. He looked at me with a full gaze. "What do you mean, son?" asked Mr. Rahadi whose voice suddenly turned flat.

"Sorry, Sir. I don't mean to be presumptuous. But, yesterday I accidentally heard what you said about the orphanage. I went to Ida and Ida said she was going to go home. And Maira? Ida told me that she would forcefully leave Maira to the care of the father. Is it really like that?" my speech.

Seen the look of the face does not like that of Mr. Rahadi. However, I no longer care about Mr. Rahadi's response.

"This is Nak Resti, I hope Nak Resti does not misunderstand what Nak Resti heard. Not that you do not want to take care of your own grandchildren, but Nak Resti himself knows the circumstances of the Father who must focus on caring for Anneu. And you think, Rizal must have told me about Anneu's hatred of her own daughter. You do this precisely because you love Maira. You feel sorry if Maira has to grow up and see her mother's hatred for her. Therefore, the Father advised Ida to leave Maira at the orphanage. Later, after Anneu can receive Maira, you will definitely take Maira back," said Mr. Rahadi.

Honestly, I never wanted to hear any reason. I am not a mother, but I do not agree with Mr. Rahadi's actions. Whatever the reason, a family should be a shelter for children.

"Look, Mr. Rahadi. Maybe I just got to know Maira, but honestly .. The boy stole my heart. If indeed Mr. Rahadi does not mind, let me take care of Maira. I will take Maira to stay with me. Because, I also once promised to the late bang Rizal will take care of Maira as best as possible. That's if you let me take care of Maira." I made this meeting an opportunity to express my intentions.

"Let you talk first with Anneu's mother" replied Mr. Rahadi as he moved from his seat. "Thank you for the coffee, I'll excuse you first" continued Mr. Rahadi.

I just nodded in response to Mr. Rahadi's words.

After Mr. Rahadi left, Zein suddenly sat in front of me.

"Have you finished talking?" ask Zein.

"Yes, his brother prayed a very long dawn. Zein, 'will be worried, '" Zein said.

"Yes, sorry" I replied.

"Are you talking about Brother's intention to take custody of Maira?" ask Zein.

"Yes, Zein" I replied.

"What did Maira's grandfather answer?" ask Zein again.

"Say, he wanted to talk about it first with Ms. Wati," I replied.

"Sister, did Big Brother already think about that Big Brother's intentions maturely. Did mama and Rayya already know about Sister's intention to babysit Maira?" ask Zein.

"Yet. Brother hasn't told them at all, Zein," I replied.

"But why, brother? It's not that they deserve to know about Big Brother's plans either. Not that Zein wants to advise Brother, but you should discuss first with Rayya and Mama. Because, who knows they don't agree with Big Brother's plan," Zein said.

I shook my head. "No Zein, I'm sure they will agree" I replied.

"Ish, this brother!" grouse Zein.

"Udah ah, hungry .. We have breakfast first, yuk!" I invited Zein to go to a rice stall that provides Sundanese cuisine. For some reason, I really miss the cuisine of mama who is good at making Sundanese specialties.

By noon, Pak Rahadi and Bu Wati approached our seats.

"I'm sorry, can we talk for a minute, son," said Mr. Rahadi.

"Yes, can sir. We talking in the cafeteria?" my many.

"It's okay, just here," replied Mr. Rahadi.

"Oh yes, please sit down Sir, Mom," I replied as I shifted from my seat.

"Thank you, son." Pak Rahadi and Bu Wati then sat side by side next to us. "Look at Nak Resti. After I discussed with my wife, we agreed to relinquish custody of Maira and leave it to Nak Resti. However, we beg Nak Resti, to always keep Maira as the biological daughter of Nak Resti herself. Please keep all this a secret from Maira. I don't want Maira to be disappointed if she later finds out that she is just Nak Resti's foster child" said Mr Rahadi.

"I mean Father?" tanyaku who has not been able to digest the purpose of the conversation Mr. Rahadi.

"I mean, Maira knows enough if he is Nak Resti's son, not an adopted child" said Mr. Rahadi.

"What does that mean, I have to acknowledge Maira as my biological daughter?" my question, trying to make sure.

"What does Nak Resti object to?" Rahadi asked back.

"Of course I don't mind admitting Maira as my biological daughter. And later, if Maira had grown up, I would still have told her if she was my daughter. But on one condition," said I who felt anxious about the behavior of the two parents.

"What's the condition, son?" This time, Mrs Wati spoke.

"Don't ever show your face in front of Maira again! Because I won't let him be confused by his status as my biological child. It's clear!" kapaku.

The two old men just lowered their heads. For a while, silence was created between us. Until finally, Rahadi said.

"Alright, we'll meet your requirements."
