My Killer Lecturer's
Pick up Maira

After speaking like that, both of Anneu's parents left just like that. Huh, really I was annoyed by their attitude. It was only fitting that Anneu had such a harsh disposition. Both of his parents were stone-hearted.

"really annoying. What kind of parents are they? It was heartbreaking to throw away his own grandson," snorted Zein looking annoyed.

Hmm, apparently I am not the only one who was made by the behavior of the two people who should have repented a lot. Zein also looked very upset by their attitude.

"Zein astonished, Brother. In millennial times like this, there are yes, whose attitude is like that. There really is no heart" Zein grumbled.

"Yes, just say it. From now on, we will never be in contact with them again. I'll make sure they won't be able to touch Maira even to the tip of a fingernail" I said with emphasis.

Apparently, what Rahadi said was not nonsense. Towards the magrib, I saw the nurse going back and forth preparing the gurney and all the necessary medical equipment. On a whim, I approached the nurse who was justifying the gas canister right in front of me.

"Why's the patient in the next room, Sus? Anfal again?" my many.

The nurse glanced. "Oh, not Ma'am. The patient wants to be moved out of town" the nurse replied.

"really? Move to where, Sus?" ask again.

"The family requested that the patient be transferred to the Sumatra region. However, the doctor has not allowed. The patient's condition has not made it possible to travel that far. And finally, they asked for patients to be transferred to the city of Jakarta only. He said, for a while, the patient will be admitted to a hospital owned by his relatives," said the nurse.

"Oh, I see Sus," my thinly smiling timpal heard the nurse's reply. He said he wanted to move far away, to the point of not being able to take Maira. However, the reality is only out of town, not out of the province. Oh my God.

Soon, I saw some nurses come out and push Anneu's gurney. Rahadi and his wife were seen following them from behind. The two old men did not glance in our direction at all. Zein and I can only look at each other for their behavior. A moment later, they disappeared behind the door.

"Hopefully, Maira will never see them again" Zein grumbled with great annoyance.

I could only pat Zein on the shoulder to remind him that what he said was not good.

The days keep passing. Luckily the government seized all the assets of the rizal bang, giving Ida a week to pack up. Tomorrow is the last day they will be there. Inevitably, I have to pick up Maira because Ida will leave tomorrow for her hometown.

"What time do we pick up Maira, brother?" asked Zein while we were having dinner in the cafeteria.

"After the Fatwa has been transferred to the nursery, Zein" I replied.

"Actually, what happened to Fatwa sir, brother? The doctor said that all the vital organs of the Fatwa are functioning properly. But why is Fatwa still unconscious?" ask Zein.

"Come, Zein. But, according to one of the nurses who took care of her, there is a possibility that the Fatwa had psychic trauma, so she did not want to wake up from her sleep" I replied.

"Ish, this brother is all there is," Zein said.

"Yes .. That's, according to the nurse. You see, he said, there was his brother who had experienced that," I replied trying to defend himself.

"Yes, hopefully Mr. Fatwa is not like that" said Zein.

The next day, the doctor said Fatwa's condition was stable enough to be transferred to the hospital room. Yes, although it still requires a breathing apparatus and an infusion hose to meet the nutrients in his body. But, at least Fatwa has been detached from critical times, although not yet awake from the sound.

After the doctor's visit, the nurses took Fatwa to the VVIP ward. Here, the facilities are pretty good. Even Zein and I can wait in the room. I'm grateful, even though the Fatwa is unconscious, but we can keep it in one room. Yes, at least .. we are aware of the latest conditions of the Fatwa in the future.

"Yes, can Zein. After all, Brother has left the Fatwa to Sister Amel, really," I replied.

"Yes, come on!" bring Zein.

"Awhile" I said. A moment later, I approached Fatwa. I touched her cheeks that looked more and more thin. "Res go first, Fat. You're all right with Sister Amel. Hopefully, after Res comes back ... you're conscious," I said.

The man still did not react to anything. His eyes were still closed with his peace. His breathing sounded quite regular. I felt a little relieved, seeing her condition.

Shortly thereafter, Sister Amel came to guard the Fatwa. After leaving the Fatwa to Sister Amel, finally Zein and I came out of the number one VVIP nursery.

Again Zein launched his vehicle at a fairly high speed. Yes, the atmosphere of the road in this city is indeed quite quiet. Moreover, the road that leads to villa bang rizal. Yes, although the road is quite steep, but the vehicles that pass there can also be counted with fingers.

At exactly two in the afternoon, Zein and I arrived at the villa. On the front porch, I saw Ida and her father, sitting on a chair. While Maira, asleep in Ida's lap. Beside his father Ida, there were two large suitcases neatly stored. On top of it is a baby backpack that may contain all of Maira's equipment.

"Well, are you ready, Da?" I asked as soon as I saw the sight before me.

"Yes, Non. There were people from the government who asked us to vacate this place when the dzuhur arrived" replied Ida.

Maira, who was sleeping in Ida's lap, suddenly opened her eyes as soon as she heard my voice. He looked at me with a twinkle filled with longing.

"Yesamma!" maira shouted as she thrashed, asking to get down from Ida's lap.

Ida who knew that the little girl missed me so much, immediately put Maira down. A moment later, the little girl rushed towards me. Her two tiny hands stretched out and hugged me as soon as it arrived before me. I crouched down to align my body with the little girl.

"Bunaaaa, Maila tangen," said Maira's lisp. Her tears began to fall dripping down her puffed cheeks.

"Yes, Honey. Mother also misses Maira," I said hoarse because it was not able to hold back tears.

"Buna, did Buna come to pick up Maila?" ask the little girl.

I'm nodding.

"Buna won't run anymore? Buna will bring Maila, right, if you do it again" he said.

Back I nodded. "Of course, honey. From now on, wherever Mother goes, Mother will always bring Maira," I said with certainty.

"Promise?" ask the little girl, holding out her pinkie.

"Promise," I concluded, linking my little finger to her tiny finger.

Maira looks happy. Shortly after, he hugged my body tightly.

"Miss, Ida and Dad go first. Ida left Maira to Miss Chi. Ida is confident, under the upbringing of Miss, Maira will grow into a good and righteous child," said Ida.

"Aamiin .. hopefully, Da. By the way, what did you go up to? Taxi online?" ask me to Ida.

"You're the same, you're going on an angkot ride, Miss. We ourselves have to save expenses for our supplies in the village later," replied Ida.

"Then let me just deliver."
