My Killer Lecturer's

My Killer Lecturer's
Disjunct

I screeched loudly as the cold man said that we had lost our way. The firecrackers in my mouth started to ignite and explode. I blame him for what we're going through right now.

"It's all because of you! If we had just accepted Bu Zainab's offer to stay, this would not have happened. You are selfish, Fat. What don't you think, if I'm a girl? Getting lost in the wilderness with a guy, what will people respond later? Why force yourself to go home? Though Ms. Zainab was so kind as to accommodate us there for tonight. Didn't Bu Zainab also say that this forest is very dark even though it is still afternoon. And now, we're lost in this vast forest."

My mouth, which if I feel irritated like firecrackers in the place of circumcision, continues to menggorecos and Fatwa with a variety of questions. I'm a boy scout, I like adventurers, I like camping, I like mountaineering. But to get lost without a destination? Yeah, it wasn't my dream.

"Hey! Oye! Calm down!" said Fatwa while cupping my face with both palms.

"Ish, how can I calm down. We're lost, Fat! TER-SE-SAT, in this vast wilderness. And you know what's the worst of all this? We are lost in a country of people. A remote country full of mystical that we do not know what kind of restrictions and prohibitions. And all this because of elo!" I was getting more and more confused because my mind had been contaminated by Bu Karyo's words about the mystical that is still thick in this village.

Fatwa let go of her hand, she started to hold both of my shoulders. "It's up to you to say what, but please, just calm down! You are not alone here. I'll try to find a way out. Please trust me, okay!" fatwa.

I looked into those sharp, clear eyes like that eagle. I saw that there was such a strong belief in the light of his eyeballs. As if hypnotized by his gaze, I finally nodded in response to Fatwa's remark.

"Okay, I will trust you!" mumbling, smirking.

Fatwa took my hand again. Walking slowly because the dark was hanging above, we returned to the path. Actually, my feet were tired, but seeing the persistence of Fatwa in finding a way out, I undo my intention to ask to stop.

Like a dazed person, we circled around the path. Eventually, the Fatwa surrendered. He then led me to a giant tree.

"Sit down! Let's take a break!" her word.

I nodded, then sat down next to him.

"Are you hungry?" my many.

"Do you have any food?" Fatwa asked back.

I nodded, then took out two pieces of leaded rice that Bu Zainab had supplied to us.

"Here, eat!" I said to throw the rice pack at him.

Fatwa received the rice and began to open it. "Hmm it looks good," he murmured.

I smiled when I saw him eating the food greedily. I also started eating my food. Getting lost is starving our stomachs.

It didn't take long, our stock finally ran out. Fatwa restores her seat. He started to collect the wood and burn it.

"Do you smoke?" I was surprised to see he had a lighter.

"meaning?" ask him to frown.

"That?" My chin pointed at the lighter he was holding.

"What has this thing got to be a smoker?" He asked back.

I wave. Really, he always managed to confuse me.

"Oh, forget it!" my spoken.

The fire started, and we started to warm up. Feeling full, I started to get sleepy.

"Sleep!" fatwa.

Aju nodded, as soon as I started to fall asleep.

I grimaced as I felt like taking something out of my crown. I blinked my eyes and found the cold man sleeping curled up in front of me. The flames in the burnt wood remains were still visible. I circled my eyes, it seemed like the rain was not coming down, maybe he felt sorry for us.

I went back grimacing. Having felt unable to stand it anymore, I started venturing towards the bushes to urinate. With the help of the timid-looking crescent moonlight, I finally found a place that was quite hidden.

Krekks!

Kreeks!

While enjoying something flowing from my crown, I heard the sound of a twig being stepped on. Shocked with fear, I immediately washed my crown and ran with all my might. Damn, I didn't notice my steps, until...

Brugh!

Stumbling upon the roots that spread on the ground, my thin body finally landed perfectly on the pile of teak leaves that began to dry up.

I grimaced with the pain in my right elbow. I rubbed my wet elbow. Fresh blood was also stuck in the palm. It's worth it, my mind.

I try to get up and stand up.

"Aww!" I shrieked softly as I felt pain in my left ankle.

"Oh my God .. Is it possible that my leg was sprained from tripping earlier?" mummify slowly.

Not wanting to linger there, I started dragging my left leg and walked to find a way out of the bushes.

I have been looking for the road I have been walking. But in reality, I was still circling around in the same place. Even though the fear was starting to spread, I tried to stay strong. I'm a boy scout, I can definitely answer the riddles of nature. I can definitely find a way out of the labyrinth I created out of my own fear.

For a moment I stopped, sat down and began reciting the holy verses of the Quran that I had memorized. Until I opened my eyes, I suddenly saw a bright light that was getting farther away. Not wanting to lose my chance, I followed where the light was going.

Far enough away I stepped until the light finally began to dim. When I woke up from the focal point of looking at the light, I was surprised to find two backpacks lying under a giant teak tree.

I thank you for finding my resting place. But, I was shocked when I realized that the eagle-eyed cold man was not there.

Sayup-sayup, I heard someone yelling my name. I began to sharpen my sense of hearing to be sure. And, sure enough, I know that voice. The same voice that I often hear when chanting the holy verses of the Quran in the middle of the night.

"Yes, Fat!! I'm right here!" I shouted in response to the call of Fatwa.

"Res....! Where are you?"

I heard that voice again. I started to walk in the direction towards the source of the sound. Not far from the resting place earlier, I saw the man was frowning like he was looking for something.

"Fat!" call me.

The cold man turned his body, a moment later,

Brugh!
