I don't know what's got into me

After passing almost three hours drive, we finally arrived at the top of the crater of Mount Galunggung. Me and my friends immediately sat down to slap their feet that felt sore. All of a sudden, though,

"All right, I know I'm wrong. But I'm not the only one who is undisciplined. I knew I was talking to my friend. Then, why didn't Akang punish him?" my protest.

Innalillah...! I shuddered in horror at the man's behavior. Immediately I stood up and moved away from the group of boy scouts.

Without me realizing it, I had gone too far but I really liked this place. Quite quiet place and overgrown with edelweiss flowers. As far as the eye can see, the expanse of green crater water glittered in the sunlight. The wind made my eyes feel heavy. I began to pour myself on the sand, enjoying the natural atmosphere that was so beautiful.

I don't know how long my eyes were closed. I heard people shouting my name. I started to open my eyes, as people were wandering around in front of me calling my name.

"Yes, I'm here!" I shouted as I waved to them.

But wait-wait! There was something strange about their eyes. I stood before them, answering their call, but why did their eyes wander as if I were invisible. Even I saw Ade, the leader of the group approaching me while shouting my name. It felt like my ears were deaf to the cry of him right beside me.

"Hey, dodol! My eardrum can break hearing that crispy sound of you!" I tried to hit Ade's shoulder.

Strange, it seems like he didn't hear my swearing at all. Never mind hearing, my punch as if he did not feel.

Finally with the help of Deni and Anjas, I managed to climb up the mountain again.
