My Killer Lecturer's

My Killer Lecturer's
Kak Lastri's Wedding

The ringing of the bell sign of the end of the course made me able to breathe with relief.

"Well, we end our meeting for today. I hope you can take responsibility for your duties. Especially for those who get unsatisfactory grades. Please cooperate, because this is also for your good," said the lecturer closed the material.

Huh, what an amazing sentence. I snorted in my heart. I know who exactly the sentence is meant for. Oh my God, it's only a year away, but if things continue like this, I can go crazy for a long time, I grumbled in my heart.

"Picked up Mas Yudhis, Brother?" The Citra Question breaks my daydream.

"Eh, i-yes, Cit. You mo go home first?" I asked Citra.

"It just so happens that Citra is waiting for an invitation as well" Citra replied.

"Oh, if so, we wait in front, yuk!" take me to Citra.

"okay!" welcome Citra.

We started to clean up our stuff. After that, we walked to the front yard. Arriving there, our invitation has not yet come. We decided to wait at the security post. We also sat side by side.

"Come on, Brother Chi, continue the story!" pinta Citra's.

"Ish, there is nothing interesting about the past Cit" I replied.

"But I'm still curious. Actually what happened to Mr. Fatwa until he acted like that to Brother," Citra said.

I just put my two shoulders together.

"Come on, Brother Chi," whined Citra.

"alright. Where was it?" my many.

"Until Kak Chi hears Mr. Fatwa's condition isn't okay."

I took a deep breath. "That time...."

"Sister, is this an invitation?" said my mother while handing me a pink invitation. I accepted and opened it. My eyeballs are perfectly rounded when I see the engraving of the name of the bride there. Lastri Widya Ningsih's.

"Sir Lastri got married, Ma?" my many.

"You think?" My mom asked back.

"Hehehe, yes he wants to get married, Ma." I chuckled at my silliness.

"Trus, when are you coming?" ask mama.

"Didih Mama, a boyfriend just don't have, mo married ma who? Ma'am goat?" grumbling irritated.

My mother smiled at my grunts.

"Of course Lastri didn't go to college, brother?" ask mama.

"Lecture anyway, but Brother Denger he majored in midwifery diploma. So, maybe this year Kak Lastri has finished college," I replied while helping mama peel onions.

Mama who was frying fish, suddenly turned off the stove fire. She's staring. "Doesn't my sister want to go to college? Your sister, 'is new second grade Junior High School, maybe savings for her high school fees Mama can use first to make the entrance fee to college Brother," bargained mama.

"No Ma, at this time my sister is not interested in college. Even if you have to go to college, you do not interfere with your school fees. It's a pity that sister has to drop out of school because of brother."

"Ish, your sister's not going to drop out of school. Maybe he can take Package C to continue his education."

"Don't Ma!" concluded instantly. "Sister doesn't want sister to continue with Package C. This is not fair. Let my sister stay in school. God willing, when it's time, you can go to college. After all, for the time being Brother has not been interested in college."

I tried to convince my mom not to worry too much about my future. Although deep down, I also really want to continue school. But that desire I had to bury deeply. I don't want to burden my parents anymore.

Time keeps passing. The expected day has arrived. Lastri's wedding will be a small reunion for me and my friends almost three years apart. I am so excited to welcome Kak Lastri's wedding. By attending this wedding, I will definitely meet my high school friends

Kak Lastri's house is quite far away. The terrain that must be passed is quite challenging. A steep path, uphill, and can only be passed by two-wheeled vehicles only. Half an hour into the journey, I finally arrived at the reception. After paying the fare, I walked towards the reception venue.

At the reception desk, I met Tika. Masha Allah .. what a wonderful meeting after three years of separation. Nothing changed from Tika, only her body was slightly stretched.

"Eh, did Irma mo come?" I asked Tika.

"Don't be, because he's KKN again," replied Tika.

"Oh, yeah. Enter yuk!" take me to Tika.

When we entered the membrane, the screeches stuck out just like that from Kak Lastri's mouth. He seemed very happy with our presence.

"Subhanallah;... Brother did not expect you to come," said Kak Lastri while hugging us.

"Come on we come, cook yes we miss the historic event in Brother's life" I replied.

"That's right," sister, timpal Tika.

"Uuh, so moved," said Kak Lastri. "Come, please enjoy the banquet," he continued.

"okay! With pleasure" I said narcissistic. After that Tika and I headed to the buffet table to enjoy the appetizing dishes.

We sat at a table far enough away from the invited guests, so we could be a little more relaxed to chat. Understand, three years without each other, of course there are many things that we want to share together. Not long after, Sister Lastri came to our table.

"Well, where'd Brother come here?" many wonder.

"Yes, uh. Doesn't Brother have to accompany Brother's husband in the pelaminan?" timpal Tica.

"No pa-pa, I asked your sister-in-law for permission to chat for a while here" replied Kak Lastri.

"Ish, naughty yes, Sister Lastri," I said.

"Tau nih, her husband's time was stolen. Make your own salaman. If there's something, what?" said Tika.

"Jan was too thought out. Eh you guys how are you? How's your college?" ask Pastri.

"Alhamdulillah, good Brother. I live thesis, anyway," replied Tika.

"You alone, Chi? So, majoring in Pharmacy?" ask Pastri again.

"Chi is not in college, brother. There is no cost" I replied.

"Well, which time is UGM scholarship?" asked Kak Lastri who was surprised to find out I did not go to college.

"Chi not take, not allowed bokap. He said it was too far away, and he was also worried about the environment there" I replied.

"Well, dear Chi."

"Yes, maybe it hasn't been his sustenance, brother."

"Yes already, it's okay. Another time, right, can," said Kak Lastri to raise my heart.

"Oh yeah, when did you guys catch up with Brother?"

"Hahaha, Chi is still far away, his soul mate is still clumping," I laughed.

"You alone, Tik?" ask Pastri to Tika.

"God willing, finish college, sister," replied Tika.

"Alhamdulillah. Uh, do you remember the Fatwa of Imammuddin?" asked Pastri who looked at me directly.

I smiled wryly, huh .. where could I possibly forget that arrogant man.

"Yes, of course we remember. Didn't he attend a famous university in the capital?" answer Tika.

"Don't hear that. But, reportedly again he was expelled from the campus," said Kak Lastri.

"Loh, why?" Tika looks enthusiastic to hear the latest news of the cold man.

"Said, he was depressed so he was expelled from his campus. In fact, now he is getting treatment at a rehabilitation center located in the city of Bandung," said Kak Lastri.

Uhuk! Uhuk!

I immediately choked upon hearing Kak Lastri's words. Likewise with Tika whose eyeballs are perfectly rounded to hear the news.

"What is Brother serious? But why?" my many.

Lastri's sister just moved her shoulders a sign she didn't know the reason the cold man had the calamity.

"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un. Whatever the reason, hopefully he can recover as before," do'a Tika.

"Aamiin's."
