Chapter 13: The Request of Ras Bunny

In the depths of the forest, precisely at the edge of a small pond in an open forest area. Ferisu was with a little girl he had brought from the red district. The girl had long black hair with red eyes with a pair of rabbit ears. At first Ferisu did not know if the girl he brought was a demi-human rabbit. Previously the girl had used a coat that covered her entire body.

In the darkness of the night, a cold wind blew followed by the sound of crickets being heard clearly. The heat generated by the campfire warms the body that is cold. The girl just sat quietly while staring at the bonfire in front of her and occasionally glanced at the men who were with her.

I should have known it was going to happen, but why am I still afraid? He's the one who's gonna help me, no, he's been helping me.

The sound of steam billowing from the teapot broke the silence. Ferisu lifted the teapot filled with water and poured it into a cup filled with brown powder. A hot chocolate is ready to drink on that cold night.

"It's a drink" said Ferisu, giving the girl a cup of hot chocolate.

"Thank you," said the girl quietly as she received a cup of hot chocolate given by Ferisu.

The girl was pensive again, staring at the cup of hot chocolate in her hand. He knew that the man he was with was not a human being because of the power he had. Ability to predict the future. 

The reason he was in the red district was because he knew Ferisu would be there. For the sake of meeting someone who possessed great strength, the young girl deliberately defiled herself so that people would not get close due to her pungent smell. However, Ferisu remained close to him and extended his hand to help him. 

"So, why are you in that red district?" asked Ferisu to melt the quiet atmosphere.

"Eh? W-w-wouldn't you ask why I know you're not human? Or about me who came from the bunny race .. ," said the girl asked in surprise.

"Depending on you, if you want to say it, I'll listen. If not, then there is no need to force yourself to tell it," replied Ferisu while drinking hot chocolate.

The girl started to tell me about her background. His name is Kurumi, a bunny race. The village of the bunny race was in the border region of the kingdom of Yulesia with the kingdom of Aur (human kingdom). The village is in the forest, they live secretly so as not to be captured by humans.

In combat strength, the bunny race did not possess great strength. They also do not like violence and always live in peace. However, one day Kurumi has a vision of a future where their village will be destroyed. Many bunny races were killed and captured by the humans.

Because of this, Kurumi asks the village chief for permission to go out of the village and find someone strong to overcome the impending disaster.

"That's the story" Kurumi said.

Ferisu was silent for a moment while looking at the star-filled night sky. He lowered his head, then he turned his head to the side and looked into Kurumi's eyes. "Is your village in the same direction as Fulen's?" tanyakanya.

"Eh? I-yes!" answer Kurumi.

"Then it's decided" said Ferisu as he stood up, his lips revealing a small smile.

"I-I mean Big Brother wants to help us?" kurumi said to make sure.

"Yes, but I have one condition" replied Ferisu. "You know, don't you? Right now you're asking a demon for help" Ferisu continued with a creepy-looking smile.

Upon hearing Kurumi say that, Ferisu put on a flat face that looked so confused. "Eh? It looks like you misunderstood me, I don't want your body or your soul" said Ferrisu to clear up the misunderstanding.

"Eh? W-wasn't I enough? Ja-don't say .. ," Kurumi said guessing Ferisu's intentions.

"OK, stop there, I'll say it," Ferisu said.

Ferisu explained about the terms he had said before. He would help the bunny race on the condition that they had to move to Heiwa village, they could not rebel or be hostile to other residents living in the village. Help the construction of the village, want it farming, farming, and other things.

Upon hearing that, Kurumi agreed. "I accept! I'm sure the others will agree!" he said excitedly.

"Aren't you afraid that all the bunny races who come to Heiwa village will be made slaves? Moreover, I could have tied you up and sold you to nobles who liked the bunny race" Ferisu said as he looked at Kurumi.

"Good guy, is it?" mumam Ferisu slowly.

A person who can kill anyone without feeling is a good person? This kid, I don't know if what he's saying is true or not. Ability to predict the future? That's hard enough to believe, but I guess I'll believe the story.

"Alright, we'll leave in the morning. Tonight rest and sleep well" said Ferisu.

"Yes!"

Near the campfire, a mat was stretched to become a sleeping mat. Kurumi fell into a deep sleep wrapped in a white blanket that kept her from the cold.

Ferisu sat in front of the bonfire while keeping the fire from extinguishing. He intended to stay up all night so that no monsters would attack them. Time passed so quickly that the dawn came. Ferisu went to a nearby river to catch some fish for breakfast.

While grilling the fish that has been caught, he waits for a rabbit girl named Kurumi to wake up from her sweet sleep. The fragrant aroma of baked fish, gently blown by the wind until it was smelled by Kurumi.

His nose sniffed the fragrant smell that smelled to wake him from sleep. "Euhmm, what is swudah pwagi?" he said while yawning and rubbing his eyes.

"Yes, wash your face and have breakfast. After that we will start walking towards your village," said Ferisu with a smile.
