Chapter 41: Lost Control

In the forest of the elves, Elverne kingdom. A monster figure that came from the time of the gods appeared and tried to cut the world tree. Ferisu tried to stop him, however, the monster was too strong to split Ferisu's body into two pieces.

Lucifer is currently holding the monster alone, however, he tells Ferisu's friends. "Give him blood, and he will rise again!" he said before going to confront the monster.

They looked confused after hearing that. However, Kurumi and Yoruka, whose blood Ferisu once drank, are aware of it. Yoruka immediately bit her hand to the point of being injured and bleeding. Then he sucked the blood into his mouth.

Yoruka raised Ferisu's head and gave the blood that was in her mouth. From mouth to mouth. One sip. two sips... Ferisu was still not awake, however, his body started to fuse back with the flowing blood.

"Successful!" yoruka shouted with mixed relief feeling happy when she saw Ferisu's body re-integrating. After Kurumi did the same, she gave her blood. Hiccup after sip, until finally Ferisu opened his eyes slowly.

"Sissu-sama!" call them with relief. Ferisu got up and sat leaning against the world tree. Even though his eyes were open, his gaze was still as empty as the eyes of a dead fish. The red color of his eyes that usually light up bright, now looks dim.

Licia tried to get closer, suddenly Ferisu's hand moved and pulled her. Instinctively, Ferisu bites Licia's neck and sucks her blood. Then Ferisu got up and approached Shiro who was still in shock. Ferisu looked down and looked at Shiro's face.

"Feri-sama...?" shake Shiro in a surprised tone when he saw Ferisu who saw him. Then, Ferisu approached to the side and bit Shiro's neck. "Eh?!" Shiro looked surprised and woke up from his daydream.

"Fe-Feriu-sama!? You okay?" his yell.

Ferisu did not answer Shiro's question and only focused on sucking his blood. After he finished he immediately walked away leaving all the girls whose blood he sucked without a word. A black wing with a red pattern came out from his back, shaped like a bat's wing.

Ferisu slowly shook his wings and began to lift upwards. He quickly flew towards the monster and hit it hard. The monster was pushed strong enough to make him angry.

"You're conscious, apparently," said Lucifer. However, Ferisu did not reply to his words and his gaze remained blank. You could say, Ferisu moved not because of his own will.

"What happened to him..." Lucifer wondered why Ferisu looked so strange, on the other hand his energy was overflowing. His strength also increased drastically.

Pulling the sword that was on his waist, a sword that could create fog. Ferisu slashed the centipede's body in succession, each slash of which emitted a red mist. Slash by slash, over time the red mist enveloped the entire body of the centipede.

The gray sword he was holding, started to turn red. "Blood Mist: Shadow Clone—Blood fog: shadow clone." Ferisu created many clones of himself within that red-colored fog. Then attack the centipede from all directions.

The centipede began to thrash in pain, each moving its head to attack Ferisu with its scythe and poison. All of those attacks were blocked by that red mist. The legs of the centipede began to fall off one after another, until his body was also split apart.

The centipede was unable to move anymore, the red mist also disappeared, revealing the figure of the centipede with the body scattered. Ferisu stood on top of the centipede's head and split it in half. A giant-sized crystal was seen emitting a bright purple light.

Magic stone, or can be said as the core of the monsters. A crystal formed due to the gathering of magic energy at one point. The magic stone was almost as important as the heart, to the monsters.

Ferisu shattered the magic stone and absorbed all the magic energy from it. "What are you doing!?" lucifer shouted as he saw Ferisu trying to absorb the magic energy from the stone.

Lucifer shot Ferisu with some magic to mess it up in absorbing the stone. "Are you crazy!?" Lucifer went straight over and hit Ferisu in the face.

Ferisu showed a face that was so upset followed by a sharp eye highlight. He got up and pulled his sword out, and pointed it at Lucifer. "Why are you bothering me? Insects fly," he said cynically.

"Of course, who else if not?" reply Ferisu with a haughty tone.

"Where was the first time we met?" Lucifer asked the question again.

Ferisu shrugged both of his shoulders, "that's it."

"So who are you?!"

Ferisu instantly moved and slashed his sword towards Lucifer with a plain face. Lucifer managed to dodge by moving sideways. Then, Ferisu instantly changed the direction of his slash from horizontal to vertical.

Lucifer drew the sword that was on his right waist and managed to hold back Ferisu's slash. "Damn! You really want to slash me seriously huh!?" ketus Lucifer's.

"Hmm? You think?" ferisu said casually. He pointed his sword at Lucifer.

"What are they doing?" murmured Licia when she reached the location of the centipede's corpse. "Why are they fighting?"

"There's something strange about Ferisu" Yoruka said as she watched the fight. "He didn't move because of his will, but he moved because of emotion" he said, concluding what he saw.

"Ferisu-sama, awake!" Licia shouted in the hope that Ferisu could hear her. However, because of the shout was Ferisu's target that Lucifer originally turned into Licia. He stopped attacking Lucifer and immediately shot towards Licia with a sword ready to slash.

"Hurry away!" yoruka Shouts.

Licia barely reacted and was unable to move her body. Shiro moved quickly and pulled Licia away from Ferisu's attack.

Although his attack missed, Ferisu directly pushed his body to attack towards the side. "Ferris-sama..."

Just as the tip of the sword was about to slash at Licia's neck, the attack suddenly stopped. His sword looks shaky. "Damn...!" Ferisu clicked his tongue and his countenance looked so irritated.

"Hurry away!" said Ferisu with a trembling tone. Soon, Ferisu loses consciousness and falls into Licia's arms.

"Feri-sama?"

"It's like he's running out of magic energy" Yoruka said.

After that Ferisu was taken to his room to rest. Ferisu was unconscious for two days and was lying on a bed. On the other hand, the elves were busy repairing the damage caused by the fight that occurred, as well as dismantling the material from the giant centipede.

Lucifer took his magic stone and left the elf forest to continue his journey.
