Chapter 36: Relationship With Lamias

Inside the cave, Ferrisu was besieged by the lamias who looked so angry at him. However, whenever any lamia wanted to attack, the queen stopped them.

"Why did you stop us?!" asked the lamias with annoyance.

"Calm down!" the queen shouted loudly. All the lamia who were there fell silent and lowered their heads.

Ferisu who was still standing still in the middle of the room, turned his head in all directions. Look at every lamia in the room. At that time he only realized, if the lamias other than the queen no one wore clothes. Letting their two heavens be seen clearly.

"Huft~ hoi, you're their queen, aren't you?" said Ferisu loudly asking the woman.

The two people who were in the middle of the cave room surrounded by the lamias were now facing each other. Their eyes met each other, the queen using a skill that could turn the person staring at her into stone. However, Ferisu returned his gaze with so much confidence.

"What's wrong? Don't you want to turn me to stone?" said Ferisu so haughtily.

"Thanks!" Queen Lamia looked annoyed by Ferisu's words just now, moreover the man did not turn into stone in the slightest. "What are you doing!?" queen lamia asked in surprise.

"I did nothing, it's just that I strengthened the regeneration ability and the absence of abnormal status," Ferisu replied with a knotty smile.

Queen Lamia was silent when she heard that, then she saw the man before her with such an innocent face. A small smile appeared on her soft lips. "I love it, do you want to be my husband?" he said with a smile so sweet.

"Huh-yes?" Ferrisu looked confused by the words of the queen of lamia.

On the other hand all the lamia in the cave shouted in excitement. "Finally! The queen has a partner!"

The golden snake that had always been by the queen's side began to wrap around Ferisu's body, trying to hold him back. The queen held onto Ferisu's cheeks, then slowly brought her face closer.

"Wait!" sela Ferisu with a face so panicked.

"What's wrong?" ask the queen innocently.

"I'm sorry, but I can't take it for granted" Ferisu replied with a sad face. "For now I have no intention of having that kind of relationship. Right now, my main priority is to conquer the goddess dungeon of doom and create a land that can be inhabited by various races," he explained with great seriousness.

Queen Lamia who heard that paused for a moment and let go of her grip, the golden snake let loose its twists slowly. "Do you seriously want to create a country that can be inhabited by various races?" the Queen asked Lamia to confirm what Ferrisu had said.

Ferisu nodded his head, then smiled wryly. "I know this sounds pretty impossible, but right now there are four races that have come with me" he said.

"I see, then. Let me come with you!" queen Lamia said with a serious look.

"Eh? Ah, I'm glad you want to come. But, my goal is a dangerous money spot you know?" reply Ferisu.

After hearing that, Ferisu smiled. "Alright, Queen Lamia please lend me your strength" he replied.

At that time the lamias began to accept Ferrisu as their master (the queen's spouse). However, due to the long journey, the other lamia could not come, considering they would meet various kinds of people from different races later.

However, before coming out of the cave Ferisu asked what made him curious. "Hey, has this fog been around for a long time?"

The lami queen shook her head, "no, this fog appeared one year ago when the cursed sword stuck into the cave section."

"Sword?"

"Yes, that sword was the one that let out that strange mist. Since the fog, we could not get out of the cave and could only save food all this time. Well, we've reached the threshold by now."

After hearing the story from the queen, Ferisu frowned and thought for a moment.

"Oh yeah, how did you get here? This fog absorbs magic energy you know?" ask the queen in curiosity.

"Ah, I blew up my magic energy to make way," Ferisu replied so casually. "Because that's why when I met you guys, I was so exhausted that it was difficult to fight. Well, it's resolved when I suck your blood" she explained.

"Blow up magic energy to make way? Can you recover magic energy by drinking blood? Are you really human?" Question after question came from the queen's mouth, as did the other lamia.

Ferisu who heard that chuckled. "I'm not a human being, my race is vampires" he said with a small smile.

"Vampire? We've never heard of it."

"I'm the only vampire in the world. So it's only natural you don't know."

Lamia, who was initially confused, could only accept what Ferisu said without asking for details. Now they went to the other side of the cave, to the place where the sword that created the mist was stuck.

Just like where the lamias lived, the location of the sword was also in a spacious room. In the middle of the room was a stone high enough, and the sword was stuck on it. A gray sword, like a fog. It has a black handle with a pair of small wings on two sides and a purple crystal in the middle of the handle.

On top of the place where the sword was stuck, there was a hole so deep. A hole connected to the outside of Goa.

"So it's his sword well," Ferisu muttered as he looked at the gray sword embedded in the rock. "Hmm, well I'll try to pull it," he said, then jumped up on the rock.

Ferisu moved his hand slowly and held the handle of the sword. Then he poured power into the hand to pull the sword. With a cue he counted in his heart, Ferisu drew the sword with all his might.

"Eh?"

The sword was pulled out so easily, like there was no burden holding it back. The thick fog that was outside the cave began to slowly disappear, moving into the cave. Exactly into the crystal that is on the sword.

Ferisu raised the sword and looked at it, just then a sting entered him which created a wryness in the heart.
