Chapter 28: Instructions

In the afternoon, there were two people in the living room sitting on the sofa. An elf girl and a vampire man. The man fell asleep on the lap of the elf girl.

He slowly opened his eyes. "Where is this?" murmured Ferisu when he opened his eyes and saw a scene that was quite familiar.

A vast meadow along which the eye looked, not showing its end. "This place is the garden of the gods - The Garden Of The Gods" he said slowly when remembering his place stands now.

Ferisu closed his eyes again, recalling the sensation when his hand was held by Goddess Rhea. When he opened his eyes again, he had already moved to a garden in front of the magnificent mansion. The fragrant smell of the planted flowers softly calms the heart and mind.

"Welcome, Ferisu-sama, long time no see," said Rhea who had been waiting in a garden chair.

"Rhea-sama? Ah, long time no see" said Ferisu while saluting.

Just as it sounded the sound of the door opening, a Goddess who was wearing battle armor, had golden hair come out of the mansion and walked towards the garden.

"Oh! You have arrived here, Ferisu-dono," he said.

"For a long time no see, Freya-sama," Ferisu replied, giving a respectful greeting.

In the garden, in a small cottage. Ferisu was sitting together with the two goddesses to discuss a matter.

The village is destroyed...

The village was destroyed by the attacks of the humans who were exploring the border forest. Their goal was actually to scout the demon army, but due to an unnatural thing, their attention was diverted and in the end the village was attacked.

"Huft~ even though we have been living in the forest secretly," complained Ferisu. Then he stared at the two goddesses sitting with him in turn.

"Yes, that's natural. A village inhabited by various races must be considered strange" said Rhea.

"Do you want to move places, Ferisu-dono?" ask Freya.

"That's how, I guess I'll find a place that people rarely visit" Ferisu replied. "Like an uninhabited island, or a forest that is very well known for its dangers" he said.

"A place rarely visited, or something known for its dangers, in the world of Envend..." Rhea frowned, thinking of a safe location seriously.

"What about the Goddess Dungeon of Catastrophe?" exclaim Freya.

Upon hearing that, Rhea directly hit the table hard. "What do you think of Freya!?" his yell.

"Dungeons?" murmured Ferisu who was interested in it. Ignoring Rhea who looked anxious after hearing about the dungeon.

"Right, as the name suggests, it's a dungeon where a goddess is sealed," Freya explained. "Nobody wants to go there, the place is in the forest of death. The forest is dead, and inhabited only by dangerous monsters."

"Hee~ seems interesting!" Ferisu grinned and held his chin with his right hand.

"Wait on! Do you know what I said!? That place is too dangerous!" yelled Rhea with a kettle.

"Not what, is it? Ferisu-dono also looks interested," Freya replied.

"Huh!? What's in your brain is just war! Goddess of war, Freya?!"

"What did you say!?"

The two goddesses began to argue, ignoring a man sitting with her.

Do they always fight like this? I don't know why I'm starting to understand why this world is...

While talking inside, Freya and Rhea suddenly stared at Ferisu sharply. "Eh!? Ah. ahahaha..." Ferisu could only laugh awkwardly when the two goddesses looked at him.

"I see, I will go there after increasing my strength and my followers" said Ferisu. "I'm saying goodbye, Freya-sama and Rhea-sama, see you next time."

Ferisu opened his eyes and woke up, looking at an empty table in front of him and a soft pillow. He turned to look at the ceiling of the room, but there was a mountain blocking his view.

"Ekh..!" Ferisu immediately rolled over and fell to the floor in surprise. He should have remembered about the elven girl who gave him his lap, but still it surprised him.

"Ah... I completely forgot about that," murmured Ferisu. He stood up and swept his hair with his right hand and his other hand holding his waist.

Elf girl, Licia, she fell asleep in a sitting position. Ferisu walked slowly towards the door and looked at the dark sky. From a distance, there were sounds of footsteps approaching.

"Sir, you're awake."

"Did something happen, Mudru?"

Mudru shook her head. "All representatives of each race have gathered at the village hall" Mudru told Ferisu.

"I see," said Ferisu with a smile. He goes back inside the house and wakes up Licia who is still asleep.

Holding both shoulders of the girl and wiggling her slowly. "Oi, awake!"

"Ehmm~" The girl was disturbed and finally woke up from her sleep. He rubbed his eyes and looked ahead.

"Are you awake?" ask Ferisu.

"Hmm? Ah, yes.. fwah~" replied Licia as she yawned. Then shut his mouth with his left hand.

The three of them started walking towards the village hall, in the front yard already seen so many people gathered. Inside the room, there was already one of every race living in Heiwa village. Represent each race, not the tribe.

Representative of the goblin race, Mudru.

Representative of the bunny race, Kurumi.

Representatives of the human race, Alfred and Lucy.

Representative of the catsith race, Shiro.

The representative of the elf race, Licia. Although she was the only elf in the village at the moment.

Inside the room they sat around a round table. The atmosphere was so calm, there was not a single sound, they were all waiting for Ferisu to say something.

"Good night, but I don't think there's any need to talk here" said Ferisu. "Right now we're in a bad position, the village we built is destroyed, our friends are dead too, I hate to say it but, you're all too weak."

Upon hearing that, everyone in the room lowered their heads and were moody.

"Why are you bowing your head and moody? Raise your heads and look at me!" said Ferisu loudly.

Everyone immediately looked towards Ferisu, their expressions starting to get serious. Although Ferisu's earlier remark had quite pierced their hearts, but that was the reality.

"You're weak right now, but that's just for now."

"What do you mean?" tanya Mudru raised her voice.

"I will train you, and we will also move the village to a distant place. The forest of death, that is our current goal," Ferisu replied with a serious smile.
