Reincarnation as Vampires In Another World
Chapter 44: Temporary Heiwa Village

Behind a forest, there is a powerful magic wall circling a village. Inside are races of goblins, humans, bunny and catsith living side by side.

"Let's be fast and stronger!"

The residents gathered in a field, they trained hard to become stronger. In order to protect their loved ones and prevent bad events that happened in the past from happening again.

The residents rely on the harvest of tubers such as sweet potatoes and potatoes. They also fish in rivers near the village to get fish, hunt animals and look for fruits that grow in the forest. Livestock from cows, goats, chickens and ducks are also the food they consume.

"It's been a month since, how are Ferisu-sama and the others?" said a gayle goblin.

"They must be fine" said Hanzo, the new gayle chieftain. "Ferisu-sama is a strong person!" yells.

"Really! Ferisu-sama is also the one who has made us able to coexist like this!" keep Frank the chief of the Regrus tribe.

As they were talking, a guard rang a bell indicating someone was approaching. "Everyone take your positions quickly! Do it like practice!" frank shouted out instructions.

"Who's getting close?" tanya Mudru (head of the oldrus tribe) who went up to the top of the watchtower.

"Orc, that's fifty people!"

"You heard that! The redhood goblins are getting ready in your positions! Prepare the attack spell!" exclaim Hatcha (redhood chief).

Just as everyone was ready for the fight, a catsith ran into the village. "Stop! They're not enemies!" he shouted out loud.

"What are you saying, Kuroe?" ask Frank to the catsith.

"I'm the one who brought them here, they have no hostile intentions" Kuroe replied.

"What do you mean by taking them?" Frank demands an explanation.

"Actually..."

Two days ago...

Kuroe who was the courier in charge of trading to the city. After finishing with the trade and buying necessities for the village, he was on his way back. In the middle of the road, he saw the group of Aegim imperial knights, they were the group that had attacked Heiwa village.

Kuroe stopped his horse and hid behind a tree. He tied his horse and walked quietly following the knight's entourage. "What are they doing here?" he murmured while peeking from the top of the tree.

"Around here there should be an orc village!" shouted a knight.

"Ahaha, we're having a party tonight!" another knight.

At that moment a magician who was among the knights realized Kuroe's existence. "Be quiet! Someone is watching us" he said glancing around.

All the knights started to be alert and check around, quickly Kuroe activated a skill that could dispel his presence. "It seems like it's just my feeling" the witch muttered.

Kuroe broke out in cold sweat from feeling panicked when she found out that the witch knew where she was. Despite his fear, Kuroe followed the knights until he reached a village inhabited by orcs.

The massacre happened so quickly, the strong orcs confronted the knights and let the orcs who were still children, and the women leave the village. Seeing that Kuroe immediately moved quickly towards the fleeing orc.

"Hey!" his screams roasted the orcs.

"Catsith!?" The orcs stopped and looked scared when they saw Kuroe. For those who can not fight, the catsith is a race that has specialists in the field of assassin.

Just then an orc general swung his axe towards Kuroe. "Don't get in the way of the fucking cat!" his yell. "Hurry now! Don't stop your steps!" All the orcs continued their steps.

"I don't know what you want, but I won't let you attack them!" said the orc ketus. Then attack Kuroe.

"Please listen to me first! I have no intention of attacking you!" kuroe shouted while dodging every attack from the orc.

However, the orc continued to attack Kuroe relentlessly, so inevitably Kuroe had to strike back and cripple the orc. With her nimble movements, Kuroe spun around taking a position on the blind spot belonging to the orc and attacked it.

The orc fell and its axe was thrown quite far away. "Kuh! Shit!" gerrutu annoyed.

"Can you listen to me now?" ask Kuroe.

"Just do what you want! At least let them run!" reply the orcs.

Kuroe sighed, "I told you so, right? I didn't mean to attack you. Instead, I intend to help you."

"Huh!? You think I'd believe that!?" reply the orc with a ketus.

"As much as you want to believe it or not, right now just follow me. There is a village behind the forest inhabited by different races, I will take you there," Kuroe said as he helped the orc get up.

Despite still feeling suspicious, the orc felt it could trust Kuroe after seeing her serious eyes.

...****************...

"That's the story" Kuroe said.

"All right, let them in!" frank said out loud. Upon entering the village, the orcs seemed to be in disbelief at what they saw. A village inhabited by four different races, how could it possibly exist.

"Did they follow you?" tanya Hatcha who came down from the top of the wall and approached Kuroe.

"No, it seems like they are focusing more on the village of orcs" Kuroe replied.

Shortly after that a gate suddenly appeared in the middle of the village. All the residents instantly gathered around the gate, the orcs also joined in with a feeling of fear. They could feel the magic energy of the powerful beings, radiating from within that gate.

Ferisu came out from behind the gate, "long time no see, how are you guys?" he asked everyone's news.

"Welcome back, Ferisu-sama!" everyone was cheering for their master's arrival.

On seeing the residents who greeted his arrival cheerfully, Ferisu saw a herd of orcs near the entrance gate of the village. "Who are they?" tanya Ferisu pointed towards the orcs.

"They're the orcs I brought, Ferisu-sama," Kuroe replied in a trembling tone.

After that Ferisu walked towards the orcs, the general orc immediately confronted him. "Please let them go. You can do anything to me" he said trembling.

"Calm down, I won't do anything to you. Instead I want to ask, do you want to stay with us?" asked Ferisu as he extended his hand.

All the other villagers showed warm smiles like seeing a new family joining them. Orc general received the hand. "Yes, we are willing," he said confidently.

"All right, everybody hurry up and get your stuff done!" yell Ferisu.
