Chapter 40: The God Age Monster

Outside the forest where the elves lived, there was a dangerous monster. It was shaped like a centipede with fiery red eyes, its entire body was black with dark purple thorns. It has both great claws near its mouth, a claw so sharp that it can cleave mountains like butter.

At this moment the monster was extremely annoyed at being forced out of the ground. Attacking the forest protector blindly to destroy it, until finally the protector broke just when the new Ferrisu arrived before him.

"Aura so terrible.." murmured Ferisu who just arrived. Ferisu pulled his sword out of the scabbard, then leaped upwards right in front of the monster.

"Fog Prison!" Ferisu swung his sword and created a thick fog that encircled their place. An area covered by fog is easily entered from the outside, however, once inside you will find it difficult to find a way out.

The monster hissed and tore the thick fog with its claws so that the prison made of fog was gone. "Tch!" Ferrisu clicked his tongue and moved sideways, then jumped up on the body of the giant centipede.

The centipede ignored Ferisu and continued to walk into the forest towards the place of the world tree. All the trees, rocks, anything that blocked his path would be split in an instant by his sharp claws.

"This monster... really doesn't consider me a threat, huh?" murmured Ferisu, then ran forward to reach the head of the centipede.

The centipede moved so fast that it finally reached the area where the elves, the capital of the Elverne kingdom, lived. The centipede began to hiss with its head raised upwards. The elven warriors guarding, started shooting at the centipede with arrows enveloped by magic. However, not a single arrow gave the wound, nor scratched the centipede in the slightest.

Ferisu ran with all his might and then jumped up and dealt a hard blow to the centipede's head. "Shut your mouth, you fucking insect!"

The head of the centipede was violently slammed down to make the ground crack. The centipede began to wrangle because he was upset, he shook his head until Ferisu lost his balance and had to jump down from there. At the same time, the centipede quickly shot a purple-colored ball of water towards him.

Because the attack was so fast, Ferisu could not avoid it until it was hit by the poison shot. The attack pushed Ferisu to the point of causing him to crash violently onto the ground. Thin smoke was seen from all over Ferisu's body, his skin was like burning due to the poison.

"Kugh! Shit!" gerutu Ferisu who felt annoyed because of the poison. Then stand up slowly.

"Sissue!" yoruka shouted that she had just gotten there and looked at Ferisu who was full of wounds. "Are you okay?" ask her so worriedly.

"What's wrong, I can regenerate wounds like this quickly," Ferrisu replied as he regenerated his wounds.

"What kind of monster did you bring here, you devil!" ketus Olivia still alleges that Ferisu was the one who brought the monster.

Yoruka drew closer to Olivia and pulled her collar. "What are you saying fucking elf! How could Ferisu have brought it! Just look, all the wounds he's received!" his reply while pointing towards Ferisu who was healing the wounds on his body.

"That's right! There is no way Ferisu-sama brought that monster!" call Licia to convince her grandmother.

Olivia clicked her tongue. "Have you forgotten what happened to your parents!?" he shouted while looking at Licia.

Licia could not answer her grandmother's words and could only bow her head with a sad face. However, Licia clasped her hands and looked at her grandmother with a serious look. "Despite that, the one who did it was not Ferisu-sama!" said it.

"I don't know what you're talking about, you better focus on the monster in front" said Ferisu, who had just finished regenerating all the wounds on his body.

When it suddenly went dark, the clouds swirled at one point until it looked like a vortex. Lightning rumbled strongly, then a bright shining lightning made a glare. A bolt of lightning descended upon the centipede monster.

A black-winged figure with an entire body covered in red-patterned black armor descended down.

"For a long time no see, Ferisu," said the figure.

"You... Who's yah?" reply Ferisu while showing a confused face.

The figure raised his right hand to the face while sighing. "Fulen Village, we met there, once" he reminded Ferisu.

"Ah, you're the fallen crow's yeah, Lucifer?" Ferisu recalls the incident while in the village of Fulen, where he first met Lucifer who asked for the location.

"Well?!" Lucifer seemed to be in disbelief with the aoa that Ferisu said.

"Do you know about this monster?" ask Ferisu seriously.

"Yes, one of the monsters that lived in the time of the gods. The Life Cutter Centipede!" answer Lucifer.

"The age of the gods?"

"Yes, they should have been sealed. But, there are some bastards who unseal it, they even slandered me to the point of having me evicted from my own residence!"

Lucifer flew over the centipede from the front with two swords in his hand. Ferisu followed him and moved narrowly to attack the centipede from the opposite direction. However, the centipede let out a kind of miasma that enveloped him.

Lucifer suddenly stopped and flew backwards, while Ferisu who had already touched the centipede was exposed to the miasma attack to drain a lot of his magic energy.

The centipede suddenly spun and cut off Ferrisu's body with both of its sharp claws. Then it moved its tail like a whip and struck Ferisu firmly. His body that was cut in two, crashed near the world tree.

Yoruka, Licia, Kurumi and Shiro who saw that, immediately ran over in panic. They quickly approached Ferisu worriedly. Arriving there they saw an unconscious Ferisu with a body separated into two parts.

"No way..." They all sat down weakly when they saw that. Licia and Yoruka came to the top of Ferisu lying beside the world tree.

"Wake up!" They shouted desperately, while shaking Ferrisu's body. "Why don't you die that easy, right! You have a great purpose, where maybe you could die that easily!" chanted with tears flowing.

Shiro was left petrified in shock by what he saw. While Kurumi walked closer to Ferisu, her gaze was blank. Then Lucifer flew over there.

"Stop crying! He's a vampire, just give him blood then he'll regenerate again!" shout Lucifer.
