Chapter 14's

AT first, SOS was just an organization founded by some geniuses—only twenty people, nothing more. One of them was appointed to be a genius leader of—dia and also a

nobleman, Duke John Russell. When he was elected, Russell was forty years old. He took his wife and four children to join him. Russell then sent the members in search of other geniuses to carry out the activities he had planned so far. The first leader was very confident that his idea of making the lives of the people of the world better, would be implemented.

Almost a year old members of other geniuses have gathered more than two hundred men and women

it was not a problem, not even one genius family had joined. Russell determines the venue of the society in one of the largest buildings in the city and is also the residence of the Russell— family now the building is made the center of SOS. A year on, they have made some easy tools in their daily activities. It's just, Russell felt there was less. He asked all members to think of ways that could be more useful for the life of mankind.

No one can bring up the genius of the leader's family. One of his sons, Matthew, came up with an idea that became controversial. Many are in favor and many are in denial. And of course after the leader approved the idea of his own son, no one else could resist.

With genetic engineering, autism can be eradicated, Down syndrome can be eliminated, a person's skin color can be changed, height can be adjusted, face shape can be modified.

Everything is red biotechnology and the most talked about is cloning which allows the creation of a new organism that is very similar to the original.

SOS develops green biotechnology engaged in agriculture and food. Developing biotechnology

blue seeks to restore the balance of marine ecosystems as a result of global warming. Develop gray biotechnology engaged in the environmental field. And also white biotechnology, such as the manufacture of chimneys with the principle of coagulation allows the carbon dioxide gas produced by the factory can be collected and not released into the free air.

All developed well initially until the time the government considered SOS to have crossed the line with

the prevalence of human cloning. The government then requested that the SOS be closed.

But Russell, who has led the SOS for twenty-five years, will never be able to let go

Because the governments sometimes act arbitrarily, Russell makes the decision to make a contract. He knew he had to help who was really in need. Rejecting people who saw could not hold the mandate—despite having a lot of money.

Three years later, the SOS in the East has grown rapidly. Progress continued in the field

technologists. Sixty-eight-year-old Russell is still busy with his planned tureen. While the geniuses who are experts in the field of technology created a laboratory of their own— to create technological tools that can help in life.

Again one of the daughters of the four children leader—Savannah proposed her brilliant idea. That year, he

proposed to make a chip in front of the board—twenty SOS originators. They instantly approve by receiving the profits to be gained in the manufacture of chips.

Chip manufacturing began that year as well. Savannah presented her plan and then took the lead

the first chip. Failure after failure experienced—Savannah wants something perfect. Just a year later, the first SOS chip was made.

The first SOS chip to develop in the East was a black rectangle. Savannah Russell said that the chip serves as an activator of an invisible skill. The chip will be implanted in the middle hemisphere of the right brain and the left brain of a person.

Savannah must find someone who will be her first object to plant the chip. Many of my co-workers refuse to be afraid of the dangers that will be caused by chips that have very strong power. But, a new person joined SOS—Arthur Holder volunteered.

Arthur Holder soon became the subject. Many rumors circulated about him with Savannah. Others consider that Holder is unlikely to present himself without having a special relationship.

Russell who heard this became somewhat angry. He would not have barred Savannah from having sex with a man named Arthur Holder had Holder not had a family. Savannah assures her father that there is nothing to worry about, as their relationship is limited to co-workers.

It's just that the thing Russell never expected was that all of those pursuits were more than a work—Russell

knowing that the idea of making chips was derived from a newcomer named Arthur Holder.

At the request of Holder—Russell keep this a secret from the people and ask Holder to complete the project with Savannah. Russell knew that Holder would earnestly give his best for SOS.

Savannah then imprints the chip in Arthur's head. After the operation was carried out—people were waiting for the results of that chip. A day later, Arthur was unconscious.

Matthew and his two other brothers—who is a doctor—it takes a week to resuscitate Arthur. Arthur, who had regained consciousness, had to rest for several months due to the chip that had been attached to his head.

Other SOS members began to doubt Savannah and Arthur's work. Unlike Arthur who tried hard to make the chip work as it should. And don't mind the other person telling him to stop. Savannah faithfully supports Arthur, even though she is already good friends with Mrs. Sydney Holder—wives Arthur who is pregnant with his first child.

“Why didn't you get married, Miss Russell?” ask Mrs. Holder noticed Savannah who was always smiling widely looking at her growing belly.

“Not now, but if I have children or grandchildren later I will marry him to your son. Are you ready?”

“Sure.”

“We,” said Arthur who heard the conversation to the two women, “ will have many children.”

Mrs. Holder just laughed.

“I'll give him the name Arthur Holder Jr. or if he's a girl I think the name Sydney or Mary—both very pretty names—but Sydney Holder is the best,” he said glancing at his wife.

A month later after that conversation, Arthur proposes to make a second chip. Again he gave his design to Savannah who was more expert in technology—so Arthur was only capable in planning and refinement.

After feeling that everything had been composed very correctly, Savannah began to make it and produce a new chip. Chip planting. And this time Arthur stayed healthy.

“Chip what is it?”

“I'll make sure of it immediately,” said Arthur and left SOS for a while.

At first, the other members thought that Arthur had betrayed him. Arthur has left SOS and

maybe tell others about SOS. Three months later, Arthur returned. A proud smile adorned her face. Nothing he said to anyone else—except his own wife who knew something that her husband had experienced.

Arthur then gives another plan to Savannah. Instilled in his brain. Leaving SOS for a while. Returning. Giving Savannah another plan—so onward. And at least seven times it's repeated—that means there's already nine chips embedded in Arthur's head.

But, it seems that Arthur did not run out of ideas, with the increase of one design he gave, total

there are already ten designs of which only one function is known to Savannah.

Arthur waited for the result to be given by the tenth chip, unfortunately nothing happened. This time he

just a few days left SOS and immediately returned to his home. He shut himself up in his study. No one let him in.

Mrs. Holder could only pacing in front of the door, not daring to knock let alone go inside. Medium

A few days later, Arthur came out. The beard on his chin began to grow. Face dull. Like someone who never sleeps. His wife approached him immediately. Arthur smiled at his wife. “I know now. I understand,” he said over and over again.

Savannah who had just arrived at Arthur's house approached the Holder family.

“Give this to Leader.” Arthur handed Savannah a letter and a box. “You can read

the letter was after him,” he added upon seeing the curious Savannah.

Savannah went straight back to her house.

“While you are,” Arthur bowed in front of his wife—talking in front of his stomach, “I will give you a gift

birth later.” Arthur went back into his room after saying that. It was like a big plan was flowing in that room.

Savannah has a letter from Arthur. Give it to Russell. Russell read the letter full

attentiveness. When he finished, he kept a piece of paper, and handed the letter to Savannah who was curious to read the letter.

Savannah's belief is proven, the chip is completely proven. The second chip we—aku and Savannah have created serves as a language translator. I call it the language chip. Almost a year ago, I wandered around and found out if the chip really worked and the answer was yes. I have now mastered several languages—after learning one language within one week.

The first chip I thought would activate the latent skill turned out to be only capable of activating other chips. This happens to someone who has grown up.

The activation chip implanted in the adult brain is unable to transmit its power through

nerves. So I built a chip that carries the message of expertise to the activation chip. Like I told you about the language chip.

But, this is different when the chip is implanted in a baby. They only need one chip - the activation chip. And over time, those chips will respond to pent-up expertise and make them highly skilled in the field. I mean, they don't need the other chips because they're actually potential experts in health, development, etc. They only need activations that work according to their will to be able to activate the activating chip.

John Russell took out the tureen transmitter from the box, placed it in the central chamber that later became the center of the SOS.

Meanwhile, one month later Arthur Holder Jr. was born and the next day the baby had to be an orphan with a father who left in peace.

John Russell together with twenty officials— made the plan of the SOS government. They agreed that the leader would be replaced by their successor the first—the eldest— with the approval of the higher-ups after leading for at most thirty years or as per the circumstances.

Savannah— as the eldest daughter in the Russell family and various considerations of the higher-ups were chosen to be

second leader.

John Russell, before traveling he advised all SOS residents to live in peace. Unforgett

a message for Russell's family to keep little Arthur. No one knows about the journey he took with his best friend Singh. But, a week later, news of his departure was heard.

Arthur Holder Jr. gets a prize

big from his father. He had one of his father's greatest plans. And

asked to pass it on to Arthur's future grandchildren.

Each year—then—is commemorated as SOS thanksgiving day on the day of Arthur's death to remind SOS residents of being grateful to have lived in SOS.
