ALYX closes the notebook of Mrs. Sydney Holder and return it to its original place. His knowledge of SOS increased. He was shocked as tears flowed down his cheeks. He exhaled, hard, removing the tightness in his chest.
Alyx then opened the notebook from the opposite direction and found a small note. A handwriting of Mrs. Holder.
Something is strange. I found a weirdo when you left. He came out of your room, without anyone noticing him. As for me, I can't even ask who he is. I looked at him.
Alyx had read the sentence several times as his ears caught many sounds from outside. He's moving to
the library window. Pull the curtains, so you can see what's going on out there.
Pandangga is fixed on a woman in front of the door that is half circular—convex. But, according to Alyx, it is impossible for the woman to emit a lot of male voices. He waited a minute. And then the door beside the gate opened. Several—ada five men in uniform came in.
The short-bodied woman was clearly Mrs. Wilder—ibu Tom's. He turned to look at the five men in uniform
they are red-blue in color with a tie along their body. Mrs. Wilder was astonished by the arrival of the men.
“What's up?” his tank. His right hand holds the key to the house, while the bag hangs on his left arm.
“We heard an intruder has been in your home, Madam.”
“What?” Mrs. Wilder looked surprised and some jokes then became calmer. It seems Tom has
informing them of Alyx's arrival at their home. “You are-you are there. There's someone in my house, but I can emphasize that he's not an intruder, he's my son's friend, Alden.”
“Alden?” alyx's forehead shriveled.
Then let us see it,” said one of those who stood at the front. His face was very unfriendly. “Actually Max Adney Russell has asked us we to take him. It seems like Sir Adney heard a lot of unpleasant things about his friend Madam.”
“Please wait, when my son Alden returns. He himself will take it if needed.”
But the man did not want to be rejected. His hands got rid of Mrs. Wilder's standing in their way. Mrs. Wilder insisted on not allowing them and he eventually fell down due to the strong man's impulse.
Alyx could not remain silent. He's out soon. Making the people in front of it turn their attention to him. “You guys are very disrespectful,” he said and helped Mrs. Wilder stands.
Mrs. The assisted Wilder instead pushed Alyx back in. But, the men pulled Alyx out. They forced Alyx. Two of the five men pulled Alyx's hand violently—, causing him to grimace in pain.
A few jokes later, Alyx's hand is detached from the two men who then see Alyx in disbelief. The girl also felt astonishment with the strength of her hand twisting the men with the muscular arms.
For a moment the men took a look and again pulled Alyx who again easily let go. Feeling that the girl before him was not weak, they started to expend extra energy.
Alyx tried to dodge any punches intended on him. Just a few times his hand moved to block the attack.
They—the five men paused for a moment. Mutually stare. Giving a nod to his friends—which is a code to leave the residence of Mr. Wilder—because a minute later their nose stems are no longer visible.
Alyx turned around and saw Mrs. Wilder—who had moved before him and touched his cheek.
“Let's go in son, come on,” his hand pulls Alyx's hand gently. They came in and sat on the couch. “Alden says you're here and I'm back soon.”
“Alden? Who's Alden, Mrs. Wilder?” alyx asked who had been curious since, for not seeing the photos of anyone other than the three of them in the family photo.
Mrs. Wilder laughed a little. “Tom
Alden Wilders. For a long time, the elders in the family gave the nickname to a newborn— or some SOS name based on the selected chip. And the name of SOS Tom is ‘Alden’—wise protector.”
Alyx nodded, though not very understanding.
“This name is used to refer to a person politely and appreciate him.”
Once again Alyx.
Next there was no sound from the two of them. It seemed like it didn't know what to bring up the topic of what two people who had just met could talk about.
“Ehm...” said they then almost simultaneously.
Alyx smiled and invited Mrs. Wilder first.
“I've heard your name a lot, they say you're a pretty girl, and after I saw you were just like they said. Really very similar..” he said and smiled. He seemed very happy to meet Alyx.
“You often meet with my father?”
“My husband is good friends with her. William often stopped by this house.” Mrs. Wilder shut up for a second. “You will meet your father soon,” he said and touch Alyx's hand.
“I would definitely be very nervous if I had to see him—or I don't think he recognized me anymore.”
Mrs. Wilder looked sad to hear that and clasped the girl's hand in front of him. “You should be able to understand your father. He loves you, too SOS. But, circumstances make it a priority, you know that?”
Alyx.
Mrs. Wilder throbs. “You will soon understand everything,” he said and by then the door was open. Tom's in.
Alyx was not even aware of his arrival. No sound of cars.
“Hi, Mrs. Wilder,” greet Tom to his mother.
The accosted one turned around and whispered to Alyx, “He is angry.” Mrs. Wilder smiles.
Tom saw Alyx. “Come! Mrs. Wilder, I'm leaving again.”
Alyx follows Tom after saying goodbye to Mrs. Wilder. Tom opened the car door for her. He immediately got in the car parked outside the gate.
“You've met uncle John?”
Tom nodded and kept his eyes on the road before him.
“What does it say?”
“He was just a little surprised by our plan,” Tom was silent for a moment and added, “and looked at us with a gaze ‘you guys are so stupid’.”
“So?”
“You will hear it yourself.”
Alyx did not ask any more questions and paid more attention to the outside of the car window.
The sky of SOS is getting darker. The street lights are on. Make the buildings through it still clearly visible. Home, shops, and more—all very neatly arranged. Although some ancient buildings still decorate the other way, but that's what adds to the beauty of SOS.
Alyx looked at how the people on the street were greeting each other and returning another smile. The road that the car passes is not too big, only fit for two cars, while the road for pedestrians is wider.
Some street vendors are just setting up their evening wares on the sidewalk not to disturb pedestrians. They offered their goods, while continuing to greet and smile.
While passing through a street full of fruit sellers, Alyx did not let go of his gaze on the fruits that were so tempting in the light of a lamp. It looked so fresh and bigger than he used to see.
“Uncle John says, you've been confirmed as an SOS citizen. He even said everything when you were with Jane, but none of you caught his statement.”
Tom's voice distracts Alyx. He looked at Tom.
“Therefore he said that I was in a hurry to get you to this place,” said Tom and released his grip on the steering wheel.
Alyx was surprised, but soon
Tom squeezed his hair and turned to look at Alyx. “I was really confused,” he said and sighed.
“Then we just need to go back.”
“No longer time. He sent someone to look for you. Did someone come to the house?”
Alyx nodded. “Five people.”
“They didn't take you?”
“No. They go on their own-luck-luck.”
“How is it possible? You fought him? Argh,” Tom growled after seeing Alyx nod. “Don't the chip that Jane gave activates the guardian angel chip embedded in your body”
“Maybe, if it does exist.”
Once again Tom growled and stopped right in front of a different building from the surrounding buildings.
Alyx looked to the right side, at
in front of where they stopped. When looking at a board hanging in front
building, Alyx knows that this is a shop. The store seems to have stood earlier than other buildings on Yash*ca— street this street name reminds Alyx of a camera brand.
“Why stop?”
“I'll pick up camera tools. Waita minute. Don't get out of the car,” said Tom and got out of the car and into the store.
Alyx turned to look at the shops that were around them. Soon he knew that they were in the camera shop. And it seems that only this old shop provides the tools, if someone wants to assemble his own camera.
In the midst of paying attention to those shops, something shocked Alyx. He turned to the side of the window and saw someone's hand was tapping on the window glass. From his hands, Alyx knew that the knocker was a man. And sure enough, when he looked down, Alyx almost cursed. But tried to calm himself down when he saw the man say something. He opened the window and heard what the man said again.
Inside the shop, Tom approached Mr. Acton was busy next to his cash register. Tom greeted Mr. Acton.
A man named Mr. Acton raised his head. The front head is bald, the forehead is wrinkled, the eyes are narrowed from behind the glasses. His hands were still busy with bolts. Without looking, he put the bolt where he wanted it. He looked sharply at Tom from his round glasses.
“What's up?” tanyanya.
“I Tom,” he said his name—maybe the old man in front of him forgets about him.
And sure enough, the small-bodied man just remembered his customers. “Iya.. yes...” Mr. Acton stood up after putting down his equipment. His hands patted the front of his clothes that were tangled due to slow bending. He walked over to Tom's side. High Mr. Acton looks very different from Tom.
Mr. Acton is short. His tiny hand pulled Tom's arm and entered the room. He pointed to a chair in front of a table. Allow your guests to sit.
“I'm not long, Mr. Acton,” said Tom when he saw the seller of camera equipment was silent a few jokes behind his desk.
“Begini... You want that stalker tool right?”
“Surveillance, Mr. Acton—not a stalker.” Tom sneered.
“Iya.. yes... You intend to improve the plan right?”
“I thought you said tools, before this.”
“Indeed. Indeed indeed. I've already unloaded.” Mr. Acton took a square box from inside his desk drawer. “It. And the most important part I told you, is here,” he said and pointed at the small plastic. “This is the most important part,” he said once again.
“I know. Everything I'll bring.”
“Sure. Sure do. Please. Please.” Mr. Acton seemed very happy to repeat his words. “But, you're going to tell me what part doesn't work on this plan right?”
Tom nodded, reassuring the old man. “Good. I'm leaving now.” Tom picked up the box that Mr. had closed. Acton and left the store that contained many of those old cameras.
“Sorry, make you wait a long time,” Tom said as he entered. But, a moment later, he fell silent. He looked at the seat next to him that had been empty. Tom came back out. Calling the name Alyx.
“Alyx..”.
There was no reply from the girl he was with.
Tom walked down the small hallway next to Mr.'s shop. Acton. And what he found was a dead end. He returns. Close eyes on the street in front of him. Go into the other shops. Thinking it is likely that Alyx will be interested in seeing items related to his hobby. Unfortunately, Tom did not find it.
Tom went back to the car. Circling around parked cars—hope to find traces of others after thinking about the worst possible thing that has happened.
Tom stopped by the car window. Look at the window glass that is not closed perfectly. He immediately picked up a rectangular-shaped device from inside the car. Pressing the button which then gives off a red light at the end. Direct that beam on the outside glass. And found the fingerprints. There's only one fingerprint.
Tom moved to the inner glass. Direct that light again. And found two different fingerprints. At the top of the window glass, there are four— fingerprints that the owner seems to be trying to hold the window glass.
Tom took the fingerprints inside and outside the window. Check it through the computer. And check the fingerprints.
Tom waited a while, until the computer was processing the data. And an information is displayed. Names, addresses, jobs, and some other data appear along with photos.
Tom watched closely and finally realized who the owner of the fingerprint was. Tom swore unclear. He got a phone call and called Jane.
“They brought Alyx. The bad boy's henchmen. I'd love to know what he'll do soon. I will go straight to them,” said Tom and spur the vehicle.
After passing several turns—Tom took a shortcut—dia finally stopped in front of the towering gate. Next to the gate, there was a name plastered in front of the wall. Max Adney Russell.
Tom has been invited into Max's private residence. Max greeted her with a big smile.
But Tom answered that smile with a faint tone. “Where is Alyx?”
“Why are you looking for him at my place, Alden?” A satisfied smile emerged from Max's face.
Tom clenched his hand very firmly, if only Max wasn't a family leader of the SOS, his hand would soon land on Max's round face.
Tom tried to calm himself down. “See your bodyguard that brought my friend.”
“Do you see it with your own eyes, Alden?” Max got off his chair and approached Tom.
“I got proof of fingerprint ja..”
“Ah,” Max interrupts, turns around and walks towards his comfortable seat. He flicked his long coat almost to the floor. “You still use such an ancient tool.”
Tom scoffed. “Why don't you just tell me straight away, where's your bodyguard carrying Alyx?”
“Why didn't you ask him yourself?” max said with his hand propping up his chin.
Tom looked around.
“You want to go around my house? I can accompany you.”
Tom thought for a moment. Alyx doesn't seem to be here. Tom sighed loudly—makes Max smile. “I hope it wasn't you who took him away. Because you'll feel pain when I know you brought it,” said Tom and left Max's room.
Max stared furiously. He stood up and immediately left his chair.
