SOS

SOS
Chapter 27's

ALEXANDRA has been in and out of the library three times to Professor Singh's living room which is now used as a meeting room by the officials. The higher-ups had come two hours ago and made Alyx

curious about their arrival. He wanted to join, but no one asked him, so he just stood behind the door—heard what they were talking about and when someone came out, he'll rush upstairs.

Alyx returns the book to the shelf and intends to eavesdrop again, but his steps come to a halt as Amaris stands on the

ahead of him. He had not spoken to the great fortune-teller since the day.

“What happened?”

“Follow, we are talking about the day of determination.”

“Indeed what happened?” Alyx kept asking and as he entered the living room his face became confused. He came across the higher-ups with grieving, angry faces, and some were even frightened.

Alyx is welcome to sit in a large chair. He feels like someone who will be in court. All eyes

stared at him.

“Determination day will be held the day after tomorrow. After the sun goes down, you should be in the main building. I've asked my son, Hiro, to accompany you. You can't be at SOS tomorrow,” said the white-bearded man who is Hiro's father.

“Why?”

“That's already the rule, Alyx.”

Alyx gave a small nod, despite not understanding its intent and purpose.

When the higher-ups of— besides Amaris who was still staying in conversation with Singh— left the Singh residence, Hiro came. He said hello to Alyx. Ask him to get ready soon.

“Amaris, before I leave, I want to ask you something,” Alyx told Amaris.

Amaris smiled and gave a small nod to Alyx. Make permissible.

“You told me about Nick? What the hell happened to him? Do you see the future?”

“Nick? I'm sorry, I don't know.”

“Any,” murmured Alyx.

A minute later, Alyx and Hiro have passed through the invisible door of the Singh— residence which only the

the good-hearted man. Alyx soon found out the reason why his father had asked him to stay at the place. In addition, he gained a lot of knowledge and practiced more often. Morning, afternoon, and evening, even while enjoying a meal.

Alyx gets into Hiro's red car. Just for two.

“What happened?”

“Who Nick?”

Alyx and Hiro asked almost simultaneously. Hiro nodded, gesturing for Alyx to answer more

back then.

“Friends wellku.”

“Not, not like that. Why are you so worried about him?”

“Then what do you think?”

“But, for now, you can't have a relationship just yet.”

Alyx sneered. “Why?”

“Where are we going?” Hiro did not answer the question of the girl beside him.

“I think you should decide. But I think we should go to London.”

“Meeting Nick? Can't.”

“Why?”

“You just need to hear me.”

They had arrived at the east door that would take them to London. Alyx was just about to put his wrist on the sensor, but Hiro then pulled it.

“Let me just.”

Alyx looked at the back of Hiro who had walked first. He was silent for a moment and just asked when Hiro was

it opens the door to the library.

“You haven't answered my question, Hiro?”

“There's something you shouldn't know right now,” he said and the door opened. He greeted Alice who was busy with books

in hand.

Alice smiled and then stared fixedly at Alyx. “Good luck,” said.

“You will see it for yourself, Alice,” said Hiro who could not be understood by Alyx.

While exiting the library, Hiro pulls Alyx's hand. “Do not go far from me.”

Deg. Like electricity flowing from Hiro's fingers into Alyx's heart. “Good. If that's what you want,” said Alyx after looking at Hiro's hand that was holding him tightly.

Hiro stopped walking after hearing Alyx say. He looked at Alyx amusedly. “Well, I think this is weird. I shouldn't feel amused in this state,” she giggles. “You really have nothing to do with that guy named Nick?” hiro asked as they walked through London.

“This past month, I haven't contacted him. I thought he would be angry,” he replied in a sad tone.

“I think you can take your hand off,” Alyx said as they arrived at Parliament House. “When I become a leader later, I will not be able to move this freely,” he said. Stop in the crowd of people who are enjoying the beauty of London.

“You're right.”

Alyx turned to look at Hiro who was looking up at the sky. He did not expect Hiro to justify

his statement.

“You won't be able to move this freely,” Hiro repeated. “There will be many people begging to

patronized. Then you don't have to go back to SOS. How about we just go away, to a place where SOS people, can't find us.”

“Kita?”

Hiro looked at Alyx's face looking at him with a stupid look. “You will not be able to move freely, without others supporting you,” he said and smiled.

Hiro and Alyx have been standing in front of the giant clock Big Ben. Stare at.

“Alyx... I will always be with you no matter what.”

“Many have said that to me. I hope you're not like them. Go in when I really

need it. Do you think Nick meant to leave me too?”

Hiro turned his eyes. Don't like topic ‘Nick’.

Alyx chuckled. “You don't like Nick. You haven't even met him.”

“He's not a bad person right?”

“She's really a good person. Although he looks like a killer, but he is very sweet.”

“Already.” Hiro walked first leaving Alyx who was still looking at the clockwork which was a second away at twelve noon.

As he turned around and chased after Hiro, the clock had already rung.

*

Alyx and Hiro are at Nick's gate. He managed to persuade Hiro to visit for a while.

Hiro could only blow his breath hard, looking at the girl who had lately filled his mind,

too excited to meet another man.

“Come in, Alyx,” Charlie welcome.

However, as yet Alyx has not set foot in Nick's yard, Hiro holds him back. He pulled Alyx's hand and

“I got a message from dad, you can't meet anyone here,” Hiro said as he looked at the message he just got in.

Alyx let go of Hiro's grasp. “What's wrong with you?” he said half screaming. “You're jealous?” asked Alyx who suddenly felt amused by his question.

Hiro's a little clumsy. Boost. He cleared his throat and again convinced the girl before him.

“It doesn't matter if you just look at it for a while. I'm just making sure it's better.”

Before Hiro agrees, Alyx has turned around and walks quickly back to Nick's house.

Upon arriving there, Alyx became confused by the crowds that were going on. Lots of men in suits

black one then. Everyone seems busy.

Alyx intercepted one of them. “What happened?”

“Nick disappeared. Someone come and take him away.”

“Who is he?” the unanswered question. Alyx turned around to look at Hiro.

“Toooooooooooooooo. I told you not to meet anyone.”

“What's late? I think I'd be crazy if no one answered me here.” Alyx half yelled.

“Asolah.”

No movement from Alyx.

“Are you going to stay here? Free. We should leave soon. I'm sure someone will help him.” Hiro

he sighed and stood before Alyx. “You must have loved him so much, until he only knew it.”

Alyx frowned.

“Yes, she, she'll get everything you love to get what she really wants from you. So, now it's free you're standing here. There is nothing you need to care about anymore, the Trained will immediately solve the problem you have caused,” Hiro looks fiery. And a second later, sorry for having said that.

“I'll be back to SOS,” Alyx staring at his sneakers.

“No.”

Alyx turned.

Hiro took a step forward. Grabbing Alyx. Put his hands on Alyx's head. And Alyx fell in Hiro's arms.

*

Hiro looked at the passerby before them. Next to him, Alyx sat down, his head leaning against Hiro—'s shoulder deeply asleep.

A few minutes later, Alyx opened his eyes. Uphold his head. “I tertitdur,” muttered.

“You're too tired.”

Alyx was silent. “Come, way again.”

Hiro followed behind Alyx. They arrived at Parliament House— no one else but them.  Alyx

freely starting to capture images using his camera, he smiled. Sumringah's face.

His favorite camera in his hand was powerful as they stopped at a hawker stall. He hung a camera on his arm. Feed food to Hiro. Then, walk back.

When I was in front of Big Ben's clock to photograph it. Alyx. Watch the clock from the camera hole and

with the naked eye. He turned around and found Hiro's face with a sad look.

“What's up?” hiro asked trying to smile, when he realized Alyx was looking at him.

“What are you doing, Hiro?”

The smile on Hiro's face disappeared.

Clock needles moving in opposite directions, cameras, people. “Soul illusion.” Alyx opened his eyes and realized he was in the cabin where Tom had taken him.

“Sorry,” Hiro said in a sorry tone.

Alyx standing. Trying to catch his breath.

“Daddy asked me to do it. But, you woke up too soon.”

“What time is it now?” he asked as he walked towards the window. “The atmosphere here is impostor. I can't believe what's in this cabin.”

“Eight.”

“Eight?”

“Pagi.”

“Eight mornings? That means at SOS... didn't you sleep last night?”

“Ah?”

“Sleep. I'll accompany you.”

“No.”

“You look tired, I promise you won't go anywhere.”

Hiro was so tired and finally agreed to Alyx's suggestion. “Sit next to me.”

Alyx. Hiro closed his eyes and leaned his head on Alyx's shoulder.

It had been fifteen minutes that Hiro had fallen asleep and Alyx had not moved at all beside hima movement that could disturb Hiro's sleep.

Alyx is thinking. Think hard. He took a deep breath and touched Hiro's hand. Her view

then look at Hiro who was staring at her while sleeping. Alyx waited for his gaze to lead to the next incident, but there was nothing else.

“Sorry, Alyx,” Hiro's voice sounded, “I can't let you steal my thoughts.”

“Stole?” Alyx.

Hiro opened his eyes and touched his neck with a hand that Alyx could not hold. “You don't know? When you try to see what happens, you'll take all that money.”

“As happened to Jane?”

“It's true. He came back to himself when you stole his memories that left him in shock.”

“Syok? What do you mean?”

“The incident that night made him lose himself. It was the incident that made him see people who were not

he wanted to be in a terrible state. Alyx...” Hiro said gently, “you believe me? If so, you just need to hear what I'm saying.”

“Hiro,” said Alyx then in a flat tone, “you said will always be with me.?” His hand gripped Hiro's hand tightly.

“Sure.”

“Then you just have to say what I can do now.”

“No.”

“No, not from the higher-ups. But from you?” Alyx looked into Hiro's eyes.

Hiro was silent for a moment. Sighs. “There are many things that will happen when you come back in the wrong time.”

“Then when is the right time?”

“As he has disappeared.”

“Who is he?”

“One of the people you saw that night— Azazil.”
