SOS

SOS
Chapter 20's

ABEL Adalbrechta Russell returns to the main building after a meeting that he may not have attended. It was just that there was something important that made him decide to attend the meeting.

The higher-ups had gathered in the middle room, where the leader met with the twenty SOS higher-ups. They sit in a circle and focus their attention on one person—Abel.

A few servants entered to pour tea into the cup located on the table in front of the higher-ups.

Small meals are also available. Indeed since Abel became leader—he made meetings not as stiff as his predecessors who led.

Among the twenty higher-ups and Abel—he was the youngest. To make him respect the

even though Abel is the leader.

“What's up, Adalbrechta?” asked one of the higher-ups—the woman who was sitting close from Abel when she saw the SOS Leader looking moody.

“Nothing happened, Amaris.”

But, Amaris—the woman of childbearing stature, knew very well what happened to Abel. “Clean your mind. Everything will be as beautiful as the moon,” said Amaris smiling.

As the higher-ups were talking, the door opened. A man who entered with an angry face

try not to blow it. All heads were directed at him—including his father, Addison—who sat in the seat closest to the entrance.

“What are you doing, Adney?”

Max looked at his father for a moment and walked in with his arrogant attitude. He bowed once, trying to be polite to his parents in his presence. “Can I have a quick chat with Leader Adalbrechta?”

The higher-ups looked at each other, clueless about the man's sudden attitude.

“Please, Adney. And I hope this is something important. Not a joke anymore,” Abel.

“Sure, but have you thought about the joke yesterday? I need your answer, before telling me in front of the other higher-ups.”

Abel thought for a moment. “Sure, I still remember every detail of your joke and although it's not funny I try to understand it, and every time I thought it would not hurt if you said that joke in front of the other higher-ups. If only, you feel ready to face what will happen then.”

Max thought for a while and intended to get out of the living room, but came back again and spoke very loudly. “Have the Bigwigs found out about Adalbrechta's secret?”

The voices of the higher-ups began to sound—don't like Max's disrespectful questions.

“What are you doing, Adney?” Addison hissed telling his son to come out immediately.

“No Father.” Max came back with a very confident attitude.

“Everything you say will be delivered to the ears of other SOS residents,” whispered Addison.

Max smiled, realizing that news brokers often get great news during inter-meeting meetings

the leader.

Addison no longer knew how to tell his son and he sat back down.

“Don't His Majesty always have to try to hear his people who want to say something? So let me say this important thing. That Duchess Abel Adalbrechta Russell should immediately resign from the leadership post.”

“Supposed once you think like that,” The higher-ups are starting to feel Max's attitude is outrageous.

Abel smiled a little.

“According to my observation, the leader of Adalbrechta has broken the law by keeping secret the existence of descendants who should always be under the supervision of SOS.” officials

Addison had buried his face in the palm of his hand.

“Then what's your problem, Adney?” ask Amaris.

“The leader of SOS must relinquish his post and must immediately seek his successor.”

“You are in too much of a hurry,” said Carney, a tall man of Irish descent, “ very hasty in running for.” He smiles.

“True. If only the leader's secret was a grain of rice, then we would have found that grain of rice,”

said Amaris who had already stood up from his chair. Apparently, her short body in a dress made of sheep hair.

“Regarding the descendants of Adalbrechta Russell—because a father has the right to protect his baby, then we leave the matter of his existence to Sir William Holder.”.

“You also know that?” max's face began to pale.

“Listen to me first, Adney, let this all be clear to you. Then,” Carney who became the spokesperson

continuing, “about the supervision of the higher-ups—which is implemented after the prospective successor is considered to have mature—then four years ago, we have found out his whereabouts and started that surveillance, he said, just like we did with you and the other candidates. So, is there still a problem for you?”

Max didn't make a sound, like he was thinking hard. “No. What about Tom?”

“You also know that?” ask Amaris. “That means you will only be a candidate to the calculated, Adney.”

“No,” he shouted. “You certainly do not know about the validity of the offspring that Tom has? He was not born of

a mother's womb? She thrives in a tube.”

“We who have asked Adalbrechta to do that action, Adney. He should lead immediately.”

No more noise. Abel who had lowered his head and then raised his voice, “Then, what about the second

my descendant, Adney?”

Max turned around leaving the middle room which instantly became hell for him.

Addison was silent in his room. He had just asked his subordinates to bring Max before him. A few moments later, the door of the room opened. Max entered with a lethargic face.

“Then what have you got, Adney?”

“You should have said all this.”

“What I know I have told you all. I even asked you not to act

before everything is clear. How could you be this lazy. You should know that what I heard was not all my— even just became a top brass a few years ago,” muttered Addison.

“You...” Addison's tone of voice becomes higher, “ makes me hesitate to nominate you. Maybe I'll

“What?” max's voice echoed in the room. He nodded and calmed himself. “No, I will prove to you, Father, I am the best.”

Addison seemed to think. “Alright, I'll wait for you, don't let me down this time again, Adney.”

“I promise,” she said and a smile expands on her face. He was now more relaxed sitting in front of his father. “Didn't you ask your people to watch him..”.

“Not me, Adney," Addison gulped. "And you shouldn't..”

Max understood, his father had even harmed the girl. He did not pay any more attention to his father who was nagging indistinctly. Now an idea had appeared in his brain.

A large room in the main building appears very quiet, the owner has not returned. There is a bookcase on the left. Some books were not put into the already full shelf, nor was the pile of books in front

an uncluttered table. Looks like the owner is still confused—choose which books he will take off the shelf and which will be replaced with new ones.

There was a pair of sturdy carved tables and chairs. Behind the chair, the window was covered in colored curtain cloth

plain maroon red— like the owner likes that color, visible from some objects that have matching colors.

The wall behind a long sofa that is also marron red, there are three electronic maps

which are attached to the same size. One world map and the other is an SOS map, while the other is a map or more like an SOS main building plan. Some red dots move over the map. Also on top of the main building. Now a point runs towards that room. Getting closer and closer.

Door opens. Two men and two women stopped at the door, stood up, then turned back to the door. A woman in a black suit and a knee-length skirt stood in the middle of the door.

“You guys, rest!”

The two men and women who always followed him bowed— carried out immediately the orders of the leader.

The door closed by itself as Abel had stepped in. The high heels he wore and

stepping on a thick maroon-red carpet. He would rather step on that than on the cold floor.

Abel walked to the back of his desk and sat leaning back in his chair while closing his eyes. A moment later, he

pull out his desk drawer, take a picture frame and put it on the table.

He saw her some jokes and stood by the window. Look out. Look at the SOS residents who are already

many on the streets. His knees then weakened, his hands held the curtains, and he sat down for a long time. Leaning his body against the wall. Duck. Stare at his wrist long enough. And a tear dripped on it.

Tears—luapan emotions that have spread throughout his body. It is he who has started it all and he also has to end it. And eventually the family he dreamed of would come true.

Abel raised his face and looked at the photo that had been framed in gold. Pictures of people who always

thought of. Pictures of people he had only seen from afar. Pictures of people he could only love unilaterally. Pictures of people who will soon know themselves exist and will give all the love for them.

And immediately described to his two hearts that he was their mother.

Twenty-three years ago. The age of Mr. and Mrs. William Holder had walked a year and they had just been blessed with a baby a year later. Seeds are combined from half the best soul chips implanted while still in the womb.

The birth of Abel Sidney Russell's first daughter or Mrs. Abel Holder is very exciting. That day was the day

where is the day of determination due to the vacant leadership position—after the leader passed away a few months ago. Abel is one of them a direct descendant of the leader and has long been reckoned as the next SOS leader—because he has acted wisely when the leader is sick and replaces

his duty.

Decision Day coincides with the day of gratitude of SOS citizens. The residents had gathered in the main square. Praying and expressing victory. And waiting for the announcement who the next leader is.

As for the birth, no one knew but the higher-ups. The tall Carney— guy who is always the speaker appears on the big LCD and will announce a very important announcement.

Carney will announce the birth of the new Holder and Russell families. But Abel refused to tell the people. With the reason—, no one else knows about Abel who was married at a young age with William Holder who still has to focus on security updates SOS.

Carney then announced that the elected leader was Abel Sidney Russel— and changed the title to Duchess Abel Adalbrechta Russell. The noble leader.

Abel and William must separate. Abel promised to visit them, but because of some family

Russell who did not like Abel who became the leader of—, was suspicious of Abel because he often handled Holder's residence, then a day later he no longer came to see his baby who was still a few weeks old.

Their daughter's age had already been stepped on by one month. Arrived the day of planting chips that had been specially made for him,

unfortunately William lost his daughter. He started looking, but did not find it. When he was looking for Abel—William didn't find him either.

A day later, William found his daughter in his study, on a sofa, covered in red cloth

maroons.

William was trying to understand what was going on. And finally decided to take him out of SOS. No more planting chips in his brain because his birth had passed a month. So William just put a protective chip on his ring finger—so that no one else knows of his whereabouts.

A week later, Abel came to William. No words came out of both of their mouths. They just look at each other and talk through the mind. As he did for the next twenty years.

William didn't ask about who kidnapped his daughter—because he already knew who and what the mode of

that incident.

Two months later, the inauguration of the SOS leader will be held in the coming week. And at that time Amaris the Moon predicted the presence of a little man in the midst of Abel's life.

Abel then realizes that she has been pregnant with their second child at the time of Abel's very body

weaklings. But Amaris asks her to do something and Abel violently refuses to abort her womb. He was looking for a way to let the child grow.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilder, who knew it, was trying to help Abel. By making a tube

serves as a surrogate uterus. Prospective baby Abel transferred into the uterine tube—almost every day he monitored the development of his fetus.

After becoming a baby, Wilder's family took care of him and considered him a child

their own bladder. Unbeknownst to William who immersed himself in the laboratory.
