Chapter 5's

“Where did you get my number?” Alyx who had just woken up due to the ringtone sound, that morning growled inwardly. He just slept at four this morning. And at six o'clock, someone called him.

“I was jogging around your apartment and instantly remembered you.” The heavy sound from across the phone made him grow furious.

Alyx pressed his aching head. “Then?” Alyx approached the window and pulled the curtains, looking outside. The sun is beginning to shine its light.

“How are you doing?”

“Sorry. I haven't decided anything yet. So, you better stop calling me for a while, until I decide. See you.” Alyx closed down first and was astonished to see a middle-aged lung man looking at his cellphone in his apartment neighborhood. Benjaminites.

Benjamin had already contacted Alyx several times, making him like the man he had always followed.

Indeed how important SOS is, so it makes the man want to find out about it.

Alyx had just taken a shower when Katie came to his apartment.

“Nick hasn't come to the office yet. I'm afraid all this will be neglected,” said Katie who brought

documents that must be signed immediately.

“Then I will help you. So where should we start?”

Katie tries to show Alyx the work to do, who always tries to contact Nick, but no one answers. I don't know what happened to him.

“Oh yes, Kat, since when did Benjamin join AM magazine?”

“Mr. Benjamin?” Katie found out about Benjamin on her tablet. “About two months after AM Magazine was released. The next year he quit, it seemed like the time his company went bankrupt, but he had returned a few months ago. What's wrong?”

“No. Then did he make a lot of profit from our magazine? Also does he always ask for strange things?”

“Luckily worth what he advertised. But what's the weird thing you mean? All this time, he never asked for anything from AM magazine.”

“Then...last...” Alyx stood up and paced in his study. Katie was dizzy. “New benjamin

A few days later, Alyx tried to contact one of his friends who lived in America. He works in one of the famous detective offices there. But now he is still an assistant detective

who accompanies wherever the detective goes.

“What happened?” the face of the detective's assistant is seen on Alyx's computer monitor screen.

“Hi, Jaden, you should have greeted me first before asking like that.”

“So...” Jaden without looking at the screen back inquires without further ado. He knew very well that Alyx contacting him would need something.

“You can find out about SOS?”

Jaden's attention was diverted from the documents before him. “Why are you asking that?”

“It looks like you know about SOS. So, I hope you can help me find out..”.

“Seperrtinya can not,” sela Jaden. “Not that I don't want to, but the problem is I don't know much about

SOS.”

“Really? Then all you know is.”

“What are you going to do? You better not have to take care of other people's problems, dealing with SOS will cause problems. Some wealthy families have come to complain about problems that can never be solved by law. And you know, it all has to do with SOS.”

Conversation's over. Alyx turned his chair around, making his gaze look out the window. Actually, he has not decided whether to raise the theme of SOS. But if according to Jaden alone this is not possible, it looks like Alyx will not continue it either. What's more, there are things that make him think hard. Yesterday the day after tomorrow he just met his college friend who wants to make a magazine for children.

And maybe Alyx will switch.

Alyx opened the door of his apartment, this morning he had an appointment with Benjamin at the restaurant where they first met. He stopped before closing the door. A large envelope leaning against the wall caught his attention. He took. Open the brown envelope. And take out half. The paper that became the cover that read SOS made him interested and issued it entirely. A document. Several tens of pages.

“Jaden?”

Looks like Jaden sent it. Too soon, just yesterday he asked Jaden to give him a document about SOS and it has arrived at his apartment. Jaden didn't even say he'd send it in the mail.

Alyx put the document back in the envelope and took it away together.

“Morning, Miss Alyx.” Tom greeted Alyx who had just stepped out of the elevator.

“Tom, long time no see you, where have you been?”

Alyx stepped out of the apartment. Stopped cab. He'll leave by taxi because of the place

it was quite far from his apartment. She placed a brown envelope next to him. Although interested in reading about SOS, he decided not to open it.

The taxi stopped in front of a restaurant. Alyx came out after handing in a few pounds.

Inside the restaurant, Benjamin was already waiting with some dishes on the table. He did not wait for Alyx to be able to enjoy the food, as he seemed to have already eaten some dishes from earlier.

“Are you with someone else? The seat feels warm.”

“What? No, I've been here since. Well how's your decision?”

“Begini,” Alyx decided to directly talk about it without making small talk, “I've already made the decision to join my friend to manage the children's magazine. So, I can't continue working with you on SOS. But, since you seem to really want everything about SOS, this is for you.” Alyx handed the brown envelope to Benjamin.

“What? No,”.

Alyx was surprised to see Benjamin with a strange and frightened expedition.

“That's for you. Ah, no.. I mean have you read this or not?”

“What's wrong with you? You're fine.”

“I'm fine.” Benjamin tried to act calm despite his pale face. “Sure. And preferably

you take this back, I don't need it. I mean, if you're not gonna publish it, you don't have to give me this. I can find someone else. And I'm leaving now. I... ah, you better be careful.” Benjamin left before Alyx put out another word.

Alyx looked at the brown envelope lying on the table. What's going on is actually. Benjamin was getting very strange.

“Halo Katie, what's up?” Alyx immediately asked when he heard Katie's voice from across the phone.

“Benjamin cancels contract.”

“Oh.”

“What happened? Our main sponsor disappeared and you just said oh.”

“No problem Katie.”

“But, she disappeared without a trace.”

“I just met him.”

“What?  How could it be, the worker in Benjamin's office said, their boss has been missing since two weeks ago. And soon the office will be closed, we should not let him sign a contract of this size.”

“Kat, I don't really understand, but I'll be there soon. And bring my friend. If Nick doesn't

coming again to the office means..”.

A week later, AM Magazine had switched hands on one of Alyx's friends. He no longer knew how to take care of the studio and other affairs.

This morning was Alyx's first morning of relaxing, after an office problem that left him confused. Alyx enjoy

a cup of coffee in front of his desk, while looking at the pictures taken by his camera. He did not get anything from the pictures, but then he stopped when an email came in. Jadens.

“Sorry just sent this.” Messages from Jaden and file attachments. SOS.

The file about SOS was just sent by Jaden and a week ago Alyx also received an SOS document. Alyx immediately contacted Jaden and got an answer that it was not Jaden who sent him.

Alyx began searching for an envelope containing SOS documents that he placed on the table. At the bottom. Alyx tried to pull it and make the books on it fall. Alyx did not care about it and immediately opened the envelope.

“SOS. Who sent it?” Alyx started reading the first page. He doesn't understand. He threw her away many times. Many times he took it and read it again. Although he did not understand, a few sentences made him curious. “Agrible.” Alyx arrived at the last page. He leaned in front of his desk. When he finished, he switched to a computer on the table. Open the file from Jaden and read it.
