SOS

SOS
Chapter 30's

“BERI space for him,” John's high voice rang out among the crowd. Once in a while he calmed down those who looked at the horrified young man who had suddenly been lying on the ground. He approached. Bend over and examine the man's pulse. “He's alive. Help me bring her inside.”

Some people helped John. John looked at the man's face like he recognized him.

Nick's whole body is cold. He was like freezing. He had suddenly been lying among the crowd of people who immediately circled him. Now that he was unconscious, the last thing he remembered, he was still in a room without sufficient illumination.

*

“We will not be able to pass through this circle,” Hiro said as he observed the blue circle surrounding the main building.

Alyx looked at it confusedly.

“I think we should go back, SOS hospital is outside this circle,” Hiro said pointing to the north. “Underground hallway connects all rooms.”

“I think they're there,” said Alyx saw a glowing light, coiled to the south.

“Also there,” Hiro pointed to the western sky. “I think he has found four people,” Hiro continued as the last circular light appeared in the east. “No one will be able to get out or enter without his permission. Come on, we don't have much time.”

Alyx nodded and followed Hiro. “Mother, father, Tom, and Nick. You think those four guys?”

“I don't know,” Hiro replied as they had logged into the lab.

“You're back?” amaris asked in surprise when he saw the arrival of the two men.

“There is no way out. We have to get to the end of the building in the north.”

“Why don't you try to untie that blue seal, Ace?” Amaris.

“Sorry, Amaris, I can't do it,” Hiro put on a sorry face.

“Then what can you do? Didn't you learn this from childhood?” grouse Alyx.

“Actually, Alyx can also do it,” Amaris interjected.

“Come,” Hiro pulls Alyx's hand and exits running into the hallway.

“You can do it?” alyx's cheeks are bloated.

“No,” reply Hiro briefly.

“You didn't try it.”

“Already, Alyx.”

“You should try it.”

“Cannot. You tried it,” Hiro sneered.

“Quick... fast..” some audible sounds.

Alyx and Hiro noticed the people who had just entered the hallway. And give way.

“Uncle John,” murmured Alyx.

Hiro pulls Alyx, but Alyx doesn't move. He looked back at the man he was wearing. And it dawned on him that the man was his best friend.

“Nick...” Alyx took off Hiro's grip and ran into the lab. “What happened?” ask John.

“The body is very cold, Azazil has made him suffer a lot. “He returned it after feeling no need for it, but not with half his soul.”

“What did you say?” Alyx approached and touched Nick. “Nick... Nick.. realize.”.

Hiro looked at the grieving Alyx. He's down. And tried to smile, as Amaris who was sitting nearby touched his pinky.

“Do something, John,” shouted Alyx.

John asked them to put it in a tube. “He's not an SOS citizen, I guess after recovering him, we should take him out of here.” John looked at the computer screen. “What has he been to this place before?”

“Kurasa yes. I heard she is a product of SOS.” There are many more voices giving information.

“Well, there's not much we can do, if he does the treatment in SOS, after he realizes maybe he'll return to his life. In other words, he will be back disabled.”

Alyx grimacing. Biting his lips. Trying to hold back her cries and anger.

“I'll recover it now.”

“Wait.” Alyx slurs, “Is there no other way?”

“Nothing, Alyx. You want him to stay alive or leave him like this?”

“Alright,” muttered Alyx in despair.

“You can treat it when everything has improved.”

“I know.” Alyx let out a heavy sigh and lowered his head beside Nick's pale face. “It's my fault. Ii'm sorry. I'll be right back and take you home, Nick.” He watched as the tube cover closed and immediately left.

Hiro noticed Alyx who was walking fast.

“Hurry up, Hiro, if Nick is here, it means someone else is not safe.”

*

“Well, this is true. Amaris is telling the truth right?” A man had been waiting for the arrival of Alyx and Hiro.

“Darrel,” Excite Hiro.

“Your friends will not survive. Azazil thought he was the man your mother loved. Looks like I'm right,” said Darrel and pointed at the bracelet Alyx wore. “I was right from the beginning. You know I have the power of your mother. I've properly brought you to this place.”

“You're Azazil's follower?” Hiro approached her.

“Quiet, Hiro. I just came with a message.”

Hiro frowned.

“Look,” Darrel points to the end of the light in the sky. “Message from him.”

At the end of the light, a man in a robe was standing while folding his hands. His black hair and robe were blown away by the wind.

“She hasn't been able to meet you in person now,” Darrel is closing in on Alyx.

“Do not try to disturb him, Darrel,” exclaims Hiro.

“Ouh, what's happening now?” ejek Darrell. “Calm down, her father can still protect her now. Strong protection of. Even Azazil alone could not move around it. But, after his body was perfect, he only needed one more person, to make it even stronger.”

“Then what do you want to say?” alyx asked while looking at Azazil.

“What an impatient. Come to think of it, exactly tomorrow is the day of determination, right? We almost got caught up with your trick. Do you know why the day of determination happens every day tomorrow? Because... tomorrow is Azazil's birthday.” Darrel giggles. “And.. Azazil is the best, he gave you the opportunity to choose to save two people from the four shining light spots before twelve.”

“What?”

“What? Why only two? Well, you can save everyone, if you act right and fast. But, Azazil will soon be in the last two places—two places that you may or may not come to.. There's a couple of hours for you, baby. I advise you to always be together. Good luck,” he said laughing and disappearing. And the exit that Hiro and Alyx had just gone through was closed.

Alyx looked up at the sky and a sparkling light went away. He was silent and sitting on the ground. He really doesn't know what to do.

“SOS is a little brighter now,” Hiro said later and handed him his hand.

Alyx grabbed it and stood up. “First place?”

“We have plenty of time if not throw it here. You can save all of them without a penny.”

“Do you think so?”

“Kurasa,” Hiro moving his shoulders.

“Then..”

Hiro looked south. “Alyx... Did you hear that? Adalbrechta.”.

“Mother?”

“Jane?”

“Iya. C'mon.” Hiro pulls Alyx's hand, but Alyx does not move.

“We better split up, Hiro. Will be faster.”

“No. I'll go wherever you go.”

“Tree.”

Hiro clicked his tongue. “I'm going to your father's place,” his murmur is giving up

“Thank you.”

“I'll meet you in the west. Asahyl there.”

“Really? But, you can go to Timur—definitely Tom there.”

Hiro speechless.

Alyx gulped and passed away. Before going any further, he turned around and hugged Hiro. “Thank you for helping me,” Alyx said. For a moment she hugged Hiro who felt warm, as if she did not want to let go.

“I'll get it done quickly.” Hiro touched Alyx's arm. Release hug. And go first.

Alyx watched Hiro who was away. He now had to figure out what to use to be able to reach the South. As he turned around, Alyx noticed the people who were inside the circle of blue light. He didn't find a single one of the boys—how their fate.

*

Hiro observed the light that was only a short distance away from his face. He had to understand that blue light-forming element. However, how shocked he was, when a man appeared before him.

“Ahh,” Hiro half screaming, “you surprised me.”

William smiled a little. “How long was it?”

Hiro sneered, “do you think it's easy to come to this place without a single means of transportation that works?”

“Then you ran to this place?”

Hiro did not answer.

“Good. Now remove this barrier.”

“Easy once said it,” Hiro said and squatted. He took a pebble and threw it into the light, and made it into dust.

“What are you doing?” William is crouching.

“I'm thinking.”

“Alright, I'm waiting. Don't take too long,” William said and took a few steps back. He leaned his back against the wooden wall of the only house in the northern forest.

“You and Aldachberta..”

“Why?”

“You can still communicate in this kind of atmosphere,” Hiro smiled.

“Well, that's all we can do to strengthen each other. I'm almost dead, if I don't know he's okay.”

“Can you ask me about Alyx? Is he already there?” hiro asked while looking down. Didn't want his worries on Alyx to be known to the girl's father.

“What are you thinking? Don't try to seduce my daughter.”

Hiro standing, “ alright. Stay here.” Hiro turned around and intended to leave William who was still in the azazil blue cage.

“Hey, you haven't let me go yet, moron,” cried William who made Hiro turn around.

“You are the same as Amaris,” murmured Hiro. “How do I release you? I think you know how.”

“Quick search for a pillar in the forest back there.”

Hiro follows William who walks to the back of the house.

“There?”

“I didn't see anything.”

“You won't find it if you duck like that.”

Hiro turned around and laughed.

William looked at Hiro with a strange look. “Do not laugh at a time like this.”

“Sorry-sorry. I just remember something.” Hiro. Look at the glowing blue thread.

“Follow that thread.”

“I know.” Hiro walked into the forest.

“Do not touch it.”

“I know. I found it,” cried Hiro.

“Alright, now disconnect that thread from its pillar.”

“How do I do it? You forbid me to touch it?”

“Alright,” William tries to calm down, but then explodes, “use your strength, stupid.” He always acted like a teenager when he was with Hiro.

“Do not say.”

“You yourself reminded me of that word. I always couldn't help myself when I was with you,” William muttered, while watching the light disappear as if absorbed into the ground.

Hiro appeared and grasped something in his hand.

“Good work, young man. Come on,” William is ready to go.

“You don't think this is too easy?”

“What else do you think?” William turned around and was surprised to find Hiro playing a glowing thread.

“Same with my element. I should have known from earlier. Do you think he has any other plans?” hiro asked as he watched the four circles of blue light still in the sky.

A few jokes later, the light in the south disappeared.

“Alyx succeeded,” murmured Hiro. “Alyx must be heading West now, I'll catch up with him.”

“Abel shows a shortcut on Alyx. Go into the forest and take the road to the West, it'll be faster. I'll give you, Ace.”

“You're not coming?”

William shook his head weakly. “I'll be to South.”

“Adalbrechta?”

“Don't tell Alyx, he doesn't know how his mother is. You know, Abel's good at acting when he's okay. You have to look after Alyx, if anything happens to him, I won't forgive you, Ace.”

Mangguk. “I'm going now.”

“You know,” William shouted at Hiro, “tomorrow Alyx.”'s birthday

“I know. Exactly six o'clock, right? I know all about him.” Hiro waved his hand.
