Chapter 104

They hugged each other on the bed. Then look towards the baby box. Their thoughts were the same - the same thinking about how the future of Naila would be.

"Nan's night, let's sleep" asked Refan.

Kinan suddenly remembered something.

"Have you seen all the files on Renita's laptop and phone?" ask Kinan.

"Already" replied Refan.

"Mas found something about Riko?" ask Kinan.

Refan thought for a moment, right Kinan said. He forgot about Riko because indeed he did not find any evidence about Renita's relationship with Riko.

Somehow Refan felt a little relieved that his best friend was not there to play with his wife behind him

"No, I found nothing about Riko" replied Refan.

"Has he been able to cross off the list of men you suspect? Because it was clear who Naila's biological parents were" Kinan asked again.

They lay on the bed and face each other.

"What if I peek at Renita's grave? Who knows, I met Riko in person. I can ask everything" Refan said while thinking.

"Mmm. if I may give you some advice. You read Renita's diary until it's finished, who knows there is mention about Riko. So if you meet with Riko at the tomb, you do not have a bad idea or guess what makes Riko in Renita's tomb" welcome Kinan to propose.

Refan rethought Kinan's suggestion. And hugging Kinan again, it felt very warm in this kind of situation. Refan closed his eyes and fell asleep.

"Mas." called Kinan for not hearing the answer from her husband. When Kinan looked at Refan's face, Refan was already asleep. Kinan tightened his embrace and followed close his eyes. They both fell asleep in a position to embrace each other.

A week went by Refan now wanted to think about his future with Kinan. After Naila's DNA test results came out she was determined to talk things out with her family and Renita's family.

He wanted to solve all the problems as well as his relationship with Renita's family. There was nothing he needed to take care of anymore, Refan was fed up with being in touch with that family. There is only pain left behind.

Refan immediately called out his personal asister.

"Yes sir, how can I help you?" ask a man who is none other than Refan's personal assistant.

"Rud, please find me a housing brochure. I want to buy a house" Refan ordered.

"Daddy wants to move house?" ask Refan's personal assistant named Rudi.

"Yes, my old house was my house with my late wife. I want to be fair, my wife who is now also willing to leave her home with her late husband. My cook who's a guy loses to him and can't move on from the past. What has gone is only the past. Life goes on, I want my household to really start from the beginning without any shadow of my past or my wife's past" replied Refan.

"Well sir, is there any special request regarding his home sir?" ask Rudi.

"Okay sir, regarding the location of the house sir?" ask Rudi again.

"Please look for a location not far from my wife's office. In order not to be tired every time you go and go home from work" replied Refan.

"Well sir, soon I will find" replied Rudi.

"Rud, if you can the house immediately ready and can be occupied yes. It took me a week to look for him and next week I plan to move into the house" Refan told Rudi.

"Okay sir, as soon as I can find" replied Rudi.

"Thank you" said Refan.

After Rudi left, Refan was relieved and more excited because now he has a new life goal. Happy with his wife and children.

He will build a new household with Kinan. Of course the household is different from Renita's first. Refan has promised in him to live better in the future.

His past household story with Renita has taught him many lessons and opened his mind how to take care of a good and right household.

Today Refan is more excited about work. He seemed to have gained new strength to step with Kinan in living their household.

After returning home from work as usual Refan first picked up Kinan at his office after which they returned home.

"Nan" called Refan while he remained focused on accompanying his car.

"Yes" replied Kinan.

"We're moving, yes, I'm looking for a home that suits our family" Refan said.

"Why did you move Mas?" ask Kinan.

"I don't want to live in that house anymore, after Naila's DNA test results came out I want to talk to my family and Renita's family. I want to break up with them immediately. I'm tired of meeting his mother. Regarding the house let it be re-thought whether the house was given to Naila or sold only" replied Refan.

Refan smiled then stroked Kinan's head covered in a veil full of tenderness.

"You are a good woman.. Already know how Renita's crime but you keep thinking about how to help her" said Refan.

"I was just thinking about what if I were in Mas's position. Where else would I ask for help while the time for charity is up. So as long as we can still help him better we help ya Mas. I'm sure Mas's treasure will not be reduced just because it infused the house" Kinan said.

"Aami... O Allah, thank you for sending this beautiful angel in my life" Refan said, drawing Kinan's hand and kissing him.
