Chapters. 105. Could it be a Conspiracy?
Vano shrieked in shock upon hearing what Eric said, how could the one who attacked him be the former chairman of River first?
"I feel like this is all a conspiracy, sir. Excellence in 2 hours, I'll get to your house" said Eric.
Vano gasped from his daydream when he heard Eric say. "You're coming here?" He asked confusedly.
"Yes, Sir. I'm currently in your country, but it takes up to 2 hours to arrive in the city" Eric explained. It was fortunate that he had already left the village where Ryder lived, or that his journey would take even longer.
"Alright, Sir. I'll send you my home address and wait for you here, before I'm really grateful to you" Vano said sincerely. If it wasn't for Eric's information, then he wouldn't have known if all of this was also related to River.
"No problem, Sir. Then I'll get ready first."
The call was interrupted when Vano confirmed Eric's words. After that, Eric immediately prepared to leave for Vano's house accompanied by his secretary and people.
Vano himself sat quietly in his study. He was slightly shocked when suddenly there was a hand that hugged his shoulder tightly, making him immediately turn towards Via.
"What's wrong? Did you miss me, hem?" asked Vano in a voice that started to crackle.
Via smile. She kissed the husband's cheek and moved beside Vano, then sat there.
"How, Mas?" asked Via then, making Vano sigh heavily.
Vano then began to tell everything he had heard from Eric about the identity of the person who attacked him.
Via listened to the husband's story solemnly. She was very surprised to learn that River knew the figure who attacked their current husband and company.
"Don't-don't this have anything to do with River, Mas? Or are they targeting River?" said Via, saying what he had in mind.
Vano nodded his head. That's what he thought about all of this. "That's all possible, but we have to wait for Eric to arrive first. I'm sure that he understands this kind of thing better than we do."
Well, Via agreed to what the husband said. After that he went to the kitchen to prepare dinner, as well as preparing food to welcome Eric.
Elsewhere, Ryder is seen getting out of bed. His body felt very sore because it continued to lie down and did not move as usual. Yara has not returned, and Weny has also returned home because she wants to prepare dinner.
After getting off the bed, Ryder walked out of the place. He wanted to meet the son of the father, he was sure if they were still in this place.
"Both of you!"
The two men who were standing in front of the medical room immediately turned their bodies when they heard Ryder's voice. As soon as they turned around, they immediately lowered their heads in unison.
"Yes, sir" replied one of them. Usually they always hide behind Ryder's shadow so as not to be caught, but because the man already knows if the great master comes, then there is no point in hiding anymore.
"Great yeah, you guys. I may not realize that you've been watching me all this time" Ryder said. Several times he did feel like he was being watched, but only that and after that he did not feel anymore.
"I'm sorry, sir. We're just running orders from your parents,"
"It's been almost 4 months, sir. We have a very hard time finding your whereabouts" they answered honestly. It took hard work and help here and there just to figure out where Ryder was.
Ryder nodded her head when she heard their words. It turned out that it took about 3 months they could only find his whereabouts, deservedly he was not aware.
"So, where's papa now?" ask Ryder then.
Then they say that Eric is gone when they find out that he is doing well, especially when the man finds out that the one who is taking care of him is Yara.
Ryder nodded her head again. Means since the crew of the papa is indeed in this place, because it is impossible for his papa to just appear when he was hit by a disaster.
"Sorry sir, excuse me for a moment" said one of them when he heard his phone ring, and secretary Eric was on the phone.
Instead of letting him go, Ryder told the man to make a phone call so he could hear what Rolan was saying.
"Take good care of Mr. Ryder, don't make a mistake or I'll cut off your heads" Rolan said on a phone call.
"Bright, sir."
"So, you're also gonna chop off my head?" ryder said suddenly, making Rolan who was on the phone gasp.
Rolan quickly apologizes for not knowing if Ryder heard his remarks, while Ryder forces Rolan to say what his father is planning at this time.
"Sorry, young master. I have no right to say it,"
"If so, don't blame me for disappearing from this place again" Ryder warns, making Rolan unwilling to tell if Eric will go to Vano's house.
Ryder was surprised, and asked what was going on. Of course accompanied by threats to make Rolan not wince.
"Both of you, get the car ready for me. We're going to town right now."
